we did not know what to expect from this hotel. Actually we had a great stay, given the price (110 euros for a room of 3). Our room on the 13th floor had a great view, confortable beds, very clean. Great service. Just in fron of Omicho market (great) and walking distance from castle and park. I would definively recommend.

The location couldn't be better, just 10 minutes walking from the train station and close to the main touristic attractions in the city. I have stayed in this hotel twice and I always got an excellent room upgrade because I'm an IHG rewards member. The views from the lobby are excellent.

The hotel is in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the city center ש?? Omicho Market. The room was comfortable and clean. The same is the toilet and shower. The staff are nice and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious and included Japanese and Western food. We stayed in the hotel only one night and we enjoyed.

Stayed here with a tour group. Check in is on 16 th floor with hotel rooms below..all with views of city. Great location near shopping mall and restaurants. Nice breakfast buffet with both Japanese and western selections. Best not to eat in dining room at dinner. The price was 60 dollars for a buffet. Nice sushi restaurant across the street and lots of other places to eat.

Loved Kanazawa, and location of hotel is good, close to the train (10 minute walk) and ideal to sites and stores and food, but the hotel has no charm and is a bit old and tired. Most annoying was the bathroom which is a FULL STEP up in the room, so that you feel like you are going up into a cabin and it was clean but a bit 7ish feeling. The breakfast was good and the food was well replaced and varied, but the hotel left me with a not so warm feeling. Nothing really wrong, but nothing really righ... Read more

At the last minute I booked a trip to Kanazawa. I wanted a hotel near the train station but was unable to find one because they were all sold out. I booked this hotel not really knowing what to expect. But I was concerned it was about a mile to the train station. The twin room I got was surprisingly big. Compared to the closet I had when I stayed in Tokyo this room is a suite. And it has two separate bathrooms with showers. That's right. Two. So after a long day of walking the gardens in... Read more

Let's start by saying that everyone should visit Kanazawa if they have enough time. It is such a charming place with the most hospitable and friendly locals! This is a top notch hotel in Kanazawa. It is less than a 10 minute walk from JR Kanazawa Station. It is close to Omicho Market (the freshest seafood, and all very affordable), major department stores and major bus stops. The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly, and there is a great view of Kyoto from the 16th floor lobby (and even ... Read more

It was my first time staying at a holiday inn hotel, and it was an very enjoyable stay with this hotel. I stayed for one night and been upgraded to a deluxe king size room with nice view. The room is with modern design with Japanese style raised floor, you need to take off your shoes at the entrance of the room. Nice sofa bed sitting area with large led TV, spa like bathtub. Overall, it's my favorite hotel stay after staying quite a lot different hotels. The check-in floor was on 27 floor (not... Read more

We had an amply sized room on the 13th floor and had no problem adjusting the temperature controls to our liking (have to know celsius tho, not fahrenheit). Our room had a good view of the sunset sky. Good location, I especially enjoyed walking through the Omicho market to Castle Park/ Kenrokuen Garden. Also near Kanazawa Station and a reasonable walk to Oyama Jinja and the Teramachi area. Convenience stores nearby, for which they gave us a map. Although I did not walk, also close to many other ... This hotel was reasonably priced. Kids were impressed it actually appeared on the map. (mostly we used Airbnb or hostels) they made up 3 king sized singles in the room. a little squashy but not too bad. they advertised kids eat free but turns out only for brekkie, which we will try tomorrow. Good location near loop line buses and not far from JR station. It has a view as all guest rooms start from 11th floor with a department store below. Clean with helpful staff who try their best with limited ... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We booked a supreme twin bedroom for 3 persons. The room is still spacious even there is an extra bed in the room. Room is clean, beds are comfortable, air-conditioning is quite strong even we adjusted the air-conditioner to "low cool". I love that there are 2 bathrooms in the room. Water pressure is sufficient and hot water supply is steady. However, I have to say the showering curtains were smelly when we arrived, which made us a bit disappointed. We r... Read more

Rather disappointing stay from somewhere recommended by Lonely Planet - but should I really be surprised? Positives are: Central location and close enough to the station to be able to walk pulling suitcases. Friendly and helpful staff Negatives: Dreary depressing rooms with low ceilings - why would anyone chose brown as a room colour? Strong smell of smoke Air conditioning works but has no thermostat and the room just gets colder and colder - a bizarre arrangement. Turn the aircon off and t... Read more

The lobby is beautiful, it's on the 16th floor, the views are great and it smells lovely. Unfortunately the rooms do not live to this expectation. The bathroom was terrible, old and moldy...I didn't even want to shower. There were hairs on the tiles. The toilet is separated from the shower and the floor was changed but the sink was all moldy. You can tell they changed the carpets in the room but it smelled of cigarettes and it just was not good. The staff was very friendly but spoke very little ... Read more

We stayed two nights in a room with twin beds that was spacious and well appointed. I particularly liked the separation the toilet facilities in a separate room from the shower/washroom. A minor complaint is the paucity of counter space in the latter room which could easily be corrected with the addition of a small set of shelves along one wall. I should also note that some folks might have difficulty stepping over the high tub to get into the shower. The location is wonderfully convenient. ... Read more

Perfectly located between the train station (10 min walk max) and all the sights easily walkable. Comfortable room of a decent size by Japanese standards. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast. Great views over the city. Good price too. Highly recommended

Like many Japanese hotels, the rooms are smaller than what most Americans expect. However, our room with a double bed was bigger than our earlier Tokyo hotel room, so we were quite pleased and comfortable. It was easy for two people to move about. Our room was very clean and quiet. We felt that the hotel rate was a good value. The hotel is right across from Omicho Market, and walking distance to all the major sites in Kanazawa and to the Kanazawa Station. The hotel reception area has a gr... Read more

Hate to only give this hotel a 3 star rating but the con took away from the pros. The bathroom had a very musty, mildew smell that was awful. There were so many pros to this hotel I wish I could rate it higher. The staff were very friendly and accomodaring, the beds were very comfy, the breakfast was very good and the location was ok to walk to many sites.

We were pleased with the location. It was an easy walk to the train station and it was convenient to the bus that goes to most of the tourist sights. The front desk was friendly However, the room itself was small and dark. We were a bit isolated on the 10th floor, which had a couple of rooms and conference rooms. On a return trip, we would probably chose a different hotel.

Located opposite to the Ohmicho Ichiba market, also midway between Kanazawa station and Korinbo, the shopping district. ANA Holiday is very convenient if you like to visit Ohmicho market. I parked my car in the car park building next to the hotel. The car park has a footbridge on 3/F connecting to the hotel and the shopping mall. I just walked through the bridge and get to the elevator that takes me to the 16/F hotel reception, very convenient. The reception floor with its restaurant has a mode... Read more
