It's attached to the Hiroshima Station so it's very easy to catch your Shinkansen. The hop on-hop off bus stop it's right at the front door. Breakfast was not included. We got a nice room with a view of the station. The room was a bit small, but very clean, modern and comfortable. Wifi connection was very good. No complimentary bottled water in the room though. Staff was friendly and we could store our luggage after check out.

This hotel is super convenient for travellers, being right next to the railway station and the sightseeing bus has a bus stop just outside the front door. You can take the bus to the Peace Park and walk back to the hotel through the shopping district, which only takes about 20 to 30 mins. The room itself was small but clean and well appointed. The bathroom was new with all amenities needed. For those with a JR pass, it can be used for the sightseeing bus and for an excursion from the station to ... Read more

Step off the Shinkansen train and enter this classic hotel which is lavished in marble. It doesn't stop there, it is a safe and secure hotel; your room access card gains you entry to the lifts and the cards are programmed with your floor. The room was very comfortable and clean. There is a service charge in the cocktail bar!

While the overall location and convenience of this property was fine, the property definitely needs work. The lobby has potential, but is clearly in need of a serious renovation. The rooms are small. The connections with high-speed rail and shopping are a positive.

Walk out of the railway station and into the hotel. Perfect if you've just arrived on the Shinkansen. Modern and clean....isn't everything in Japan?....our room was light and spacious. There are restaurants in the hotel. We ate at the Chinese....not too badly priced. There are convenience stores within walking distance. We were picked up for a full day tour and then left for Osaka the he next day, so didn't venture far from the hotel.

Stayed at Granvia from May 30th for 4 nights. So convenient because it's located in the Shinkansen train station. Beautiful lobby and very courteous staff. Rooms are a little dated, but everything is spotless. Stayed in room 923 facing the front of the hotel. I didn't eat in the hotel as there are numerous places to eat around the station, especially in the department store Asse which is also connected to the station. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel which is adjoining the station. We entered the 2nd floor directly from the station and the view down to reception was very impressive. All lights, crystal and mirrors. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the room comfortable and well equipped. Stayed for just the one night in mid-May, a few days before US Prez Obama arrived. As part of the main train station building, access from the Shinkanzen and other trains is fantastic. On arrival, we were several hours early for official checkin time, so baggage staff intercepted us, offered to mind our luggage while we explored the city, and had it installed in our room by the time we returned. Very nice hotel directly connected to the main train station (inside on level 2). We found it a convenient base to explore Hiroshima -- you can catch the tourist loop bus right outside the lobby, and trains to Miyajima are also convenient. The rooms are not big, but you don't expect large rooms in Japan. The shower/tub faucet was overly complicated but we managed. The wifi worked well. We booked this hotel due to its prime location- literally at the Hiroshima station. As soon as you alight from the Shinkansen you're at the hotel. Large, modern hotel with good service and nice rooms... some even have views over the Shinkansen lines at Hiroshima station. The hotel has one entrance right inside the station just below the Shinkansen tracks so super-convenient if using the trains or JR Pass as we were.
