The hotel is in the city center, convenient transportation, close to shopping centers, restaurants nearby lots to choose from, service is great, the amenities are completed especially a lady room but only one comment is no shower cap, a spacious bathroom, a varied breakfast but same in everyday, the hotel is very good value for money.

By far the biggest room we've had while in Japan (for a reasonable price at least. Comfy bed (western queen size too). Good breakfast with both Japanese and western options. Huge bathroom. Right in the heart of the shopping district and only a 10-15 minute walk to peace park and museum. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room could be small as I am rather tall for Japanese.....1.8m......ha ha ha.....but very clean and nice bath and shower room which everyone could enjoy. Short walk to all shops, bars, night club etc. Favorite dish is OKONOMIYAKI........pls enjoy.

The Washington Hotel was perfect! Well located, near Hondori (covered street = arcade with lots of shops and restaurant, that leads straight to the A-Bomb Dome, Peace Park and Museum in 15 minutes by foot), so i hardly left the area! The hotel is modern-chic without being sterile - ie it's sharp. Also comfortable. The bathtub and washroom was like a mini-onsen! Wonderful deep tub plus shower! My room was quite cozy :) with a great city view. Breakfast was incredible with lots of local ingredient... Read more

+ Excellent location. Close to tram stop, sights. Supermarkets and shopping area next door. Clean and modern. Largest room we had in Japan. Great view from upper floors. As bathroom you get your own private onsen, separate from toilet. Good WiFi. Good value. - Night life area, sometimes a little noisy. No budget restaurants in direct vicinity. Restaurants expensive, cater to local night life crowd only. Budget restaurant on main street near tram stop. (walking 2 blocks left from Hotel entrance... Read more

Stayed here only for one night and we were happy we booked this hotel. It's only 15 minutes walking fro the train station and only 10 minute from the Atomic Dome. the area offers many restaurants. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable and, thing not too popular in Japan, who can speak a rather good English. Our room was small, but we experienced this is the average in Japan, and with all the amenities. Very good breakfast, with Japanese and Occidental elements. Warmly recommended.

Location is just about unbeatable at Hatchobori and Hondori where tons of restaurants and shops are located. Walking distance (<10-15 minutes) to Atomic Bomb Dome, Shukkien, and Hiroshima Bus Center/Sogo. Hiroshima station is 15 minutes away on the tram or bus. Hiroshima Ujina Port is 20 minutes away using bus 21. The hotel is of very modern design with clean lines. Reception area is large with plenty of seating. Service is excellent as expected. Front desk handled my package delivery and ... Read more

The hotel is great, stylish and modern and very comfortable. They could be less strict with check-in times but hey ho. Staff were very friendly and it helped us that they spoke good enough English. I would very much recommend it for your stay in Hiroshima, it is centrally located in the entertainment area with lots of shops and restaurants. The memorials are a short walk.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a recent visit to Hiroshima. It's located in the central business area of town (literally around the corner from the famous Okonomiya building that houses several floors serving their famous version of okonomiyaki...which I personally loved way more than the Osaka version!) and is convenient to lots of shopping and 10-15 minute walking distance to the major sights like Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Dome. A short 5-10 minute cab ride from the station cost about 12... Read more

New establishment, clean, friendly service, great sized rooms, affordable prices, close to everything...what more could you want? Great hotel...really no negatives about the place. Has all the thing you want and expect of a hotel with the added bonus of it being new, clean, and well maintained. Will definitely recommend for travellers
