Location 10mins walking distance to bus/train interchange of Hiroshima. No shelter from the station to the hotel. Restaurant (breakfast) Small but full variety for breakfast - western and Japanese. Both are equally great (too good that I tried second round! :)) Room Room is clean and comfortable but small. Free WiFi is only available at lobby. Conclusion It is worth 3 stars.

This hotel was very easy to find as it is close to the JR station and they have you easy instructions to follow. The decoration in the lobby is quite unique and staff were friendly and helpful. Room is a bit dated though and stil with a key system to open doors. It is a good size for one person though with a large bed. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the main shopping district.

Since the choice of staying at this hotel was up to agency arranging our Japan Tour, I can't comment on the reasons why this was picked, other than the close location to the JR Station. And since we arrived evening and were only staying overnight, there really wasn't enough time to get a feel of the location to the rest of the city. However, the previous reported descriptions of "quirky" and "eccentric" were quite appropriate even with such a short stay, at least in my personal experience. Fo... Read more

Stayed here twice. Very convenient to JR Hiroshima Station where you can catch train, street car or use the hop on hop off bus. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Room is decent size for Japan too.Would definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel is great for travelers. The breakfast was really good, also. The minus about this hotel is the fact that the rooms weren't that clean and also the window in my room didn't close very good and I had to use the heating on the entire week when I stayed there.

This hotel is a 10 minute walk from the JR station which is very convenient but there aren't many restaurants close by except for the ones at the station. The decor is hilarious with Knights in their armour in the foyer and crazy old fashioned chandeliers and a giant teddy bear dressed as a bell boy and Beatrix Potter rabbits and bright flamingos in the garden!!!! The room are fairly clean but the furniture is from the 1940s but not in a good way ha ha! The bed is tiny and so is the room but it'... Read more

Not sure what to say about this hotel , it was very neat the Hiroshima train station which was good because we only had a short stay. Short walk via the underpass from the station the hotel almost has an old English type feel to it , small dark foyer and rooms and lots of stripes wall paper. Bed was comfy but not many restaurants nearby but easy access to bus , light rail for touristy stuff. Only 15 mins to peace museum and maybe an hour to the shrine.
