This hotel is impressive in size and has a vast cathedral of a restaurant. It seems to suit a lot of parties. We didn't like it for 3 reasons. The double room was small even by Japanese standards and the bed was against one wall despite being a very small double. The decor was dull and uninspiring. I'd rate it as worse than a UK Premier Inn. The breakfast and buffet area is huge and could be interesting. However the most awful music was played constantly during our stay. The location is well ... Read more

Had a three day stay at the Hotel, the Hotel room assigned to me was small and crampy and the view that I got from the room was very depressing, I was surprized that such hih rated hotels can have such rooms. The stay was not at all comfortable and felt so clautrohobic in the room that I did not open my curtains during my stay. Avoided staying in the room as much as possible. I am sure there must be better rooms in the hotel, but the one I got as part of the event I was attending, I would hat... Read more

Had a conference last week at the Hilton. My impression about Fukuoka is that it's a small city but I was astonished of how amazing it was. The hotel is located a bit far from downtown area. But it is a short stroll from the beach so it has an amazing view. The hotel overlooks the Fukuoka dome which hosts all sea hawk baseball games. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are quite neat and new. The best way to enjoy your stay in my opinion is either being a Hilton Gold member or book ... Read more

An iconic hotel on the Fukuoka waterfront - with amazing views of the city and ocean. I could see the sequel to Lost in Translation being filmed here: "Lost beside a game of yakyu" - with Bill Murray sipping on a Yamazaki single malt and gazing at the baseball game next door from the top floor lounge. Yes, this hotel is essentially connected to the neighbouring Fukuoka Dome, so you should try to catch the Hawks in action while you are here. The public areas of this hotel are pretty amazing - par... Read more

We are staying it the hotel at this moment, taking a small pause during our trip through Japan. The choice was based on the range of facilities, including water pools. Well, the openair water pool is closed till July and it is not stated on Booking.com. Disappointing! In this case we wanted to use the indoors pool, that is charged extra for guests. What a surprise! Taking into account, that it is small 25 m pool.

This hotel had a lot of Western touches and the staff spoke English well. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is especially good. The rooms were also large compared to other places in Japan. The staff is incredibly polite, even for the incredibly polite Japanese. Also, the 24 hour Family Mart on site is a God send. I'd have given it five stars, but the bathroom had a strong smell of mildew, likely from a shower curtain that is long past its smell-well date :).

I was there for a business conference. The staff is so very helpful and nice. They were also very flexible. The conference had included lunch/breakfast as part of the cost. The first day the line and wait for lunch was several *hours* long. But then they adjusted, and opened other options on subsequent days to massively reduce the lines. BTW...do the spa. Three different temperatures of sauna, steam room, hot tub, etc. All for $20 for 24/hour access.

The service we experienced at this Hilton property was truly outstanding, a model of efficiency and care. The room we had was clean, well maintained, and a good size. It had a nice view of the baseball stadium next door. The breakfast was always fresh and of high quality, with western and Asian options aplenty. It didn't change at all from day to day, though the abundance of options made that not much of a problem. The only knock against the breakfast is the limited options for ingredients at th... I attended a large conference at the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk from 9 June to 14 June and stayed in a double room on level 17 overlooking the dome. The room was very clean but worn and in need of refurbishment. The whole hotel smells like cigarette smoke and I am bewildered to understand why a sealed hotel (ie: no opening windows and recycled aircon) would permit smoking in the rooms. The Hilton Sea Hawk is a large conference hotel with a friendly staff. It was not near the downtown area, so I had to take many taxi rides when shopping or eating downtown, or heading to and from the train station. If a Hilton Hotel gets a 1000 people banquet for itself, should a participant have waitings to meet something special. Well, in drink and wine selling trainers worked slowly, supervisors just smiled, when eating, the warm meal - a Tournedos - came in temperature of about 35 degrees Celsius. Before arriving, there were some problems with the reservation that Hilton Honors could not get resolved because the hotel only has English-speaking staff at certain times. Great view of the ocean and baseball park. Very friendly staff. Nice room. Impressive public spaces, Beautiful Christmas decorations just going up. A bit far from downtown restaurants, shopping etc, but well worth the extra drive time

This hotel is located near the sea with nice view but this hotel was built for group tours and convention Check in : always too long , not enough staff at check in Being a diamond member they told me that fruits would be delivered to my room, it never came Other Hilton in Japan provide better experience and service In conclusion, I would not recommend it unless you area part of a group tour

The Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk is perfectly located on the coast line, and it displays gorgeous views from all sides/angles. Beautiful hotel, and my family and I will definitely be returning. The breakfast was great, and the in-room dining was superb.

I lately checked in and so tired. Front desk show very nice kindness and upgraded my room for more comportable stay and relax. We ennoyed nice view, clean and big size room. Besides, free drink in the cloud bar was happy hour to us. All employees are so gentle and warm. Hardware and software both are more than expectation and so good. Decoration of christmas also is very impressive.
