Trident is a gorgeous property with an attentive and friendly staff who deserve a 5 star rating for their service! Modern and sophisticated with gorgeous ocean views this hotel of 13 villas respects your privacy and is the perfect place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of "everyday" life. I was very happy in my villa and loved that I could enjoy the day in the comfort of my bath robe, taking a dip in my private pool or simply lounging on the terrace enjoying the view. The food is consistent... Read more

We visited Trident as one of the three hotels we visited on our Honeymoon. We just love "hotel hopping". This is one of those extremely rare occasions when the pictures you see on the website is exactly as it is in reality; absolutely breath taking. We initially booked for three days but had to extend because we couldn't get enough of the hotel. The minute we drove through the gates we were struck with the awesome beauty of property. The greenery on the trees that stood so majestic along the b... Read more

We spent a week at the Trident and had the chance to enjoy it as the only guests due to the rain season. We've never felt so looked after in our lives! Proactive romantic ideas of candle lit private cinema nights, every whim catered for at the breakfast table (gluten free pancakes in multiple varieties every day), the private beach with personal care of the life guards swimming with us, the sleek villa with gadgets and the astonishing seashore view to wake up with or to watch the rolling waves f... We woke up to the sound of crashing waves and a view of the ocean that was breathtaking. Our suite was modern, clean and comfortable to my delight considering I am borderline OCD as per my husband. The food and dining experience was phenomenal which surprised me as that is not typical of boutique hotels in Jamaica that we have stayed at. But what resonated the most with my husband and I was our interaction with the staff at all levels and their commitment to ensuring that our experience was noth... Read more

The Trident Hotel was fabulous! We only stayed 3 days, but wished we could have stayed a week! The staff was fantastic, they anticipated our every need. Special shout out to Arthur who is a great water instructor! We had a wonderful time snorkeling and paddle boarding at the hotel's private beach. Herman took such care of us at breakfast each morning. The food was wonderful, well prepared and absolutely delicious! I told them about my special low fat dietary needs due to recent surgery and they... Read more

So...from the very first call I made expressing interest in staying at Trident I received a warm and enthusiastic service from the staff. I stayed just for my birthday night and they made sure to find out what the occasion was while i was booking so they could set up a little surprise for me. Sneaky and sweet lol. I arrived earlier than the regular check in time and was graciously taken to this out of the world amazing room, which I later found out was an upgrade because....as i said they are ... Read more

The Trident is a wonderful place to stay that seems to grow on you with time. After over a two hour trip through the Jamaican mountains we were more than ready to get out of the car. We were not sure what to make of this hotel when we first arrived, greeted with cold towels and a drink. The décor and surroundings is very non-traditional right down to the sheep. With some comment we switched our room to Villa 1. The Villa was spacious and elegant right on the ocean with a dip pool. We had ... Read more

Here for a wedding. Beautiful villa's in Port Antonio. Villa's were expensive but none the less beautiful. Staff is friendly. Can make requests for meals for thee following day, which was an added bonus for breakfast. For cabs, catch outside the hotel. If the villa calls one it is $10 a person for a $1 ride.

This place is an absolute GEM. My sister & her fiancé at the time (now married)had some of their guest and wedding party stay at the Trident Hotel as her wedding was held at the Trident Castle, another decadent place with its vintage historical ambiance. Any who, the hotel staff is very professional as if they were hand picked like flowers, they were so accommodating, landscaping was groomed through out the day. Staff is so friendly, the rooms are amazing! The infinity pool at the front is so r... Read more
