"No luxury here just plain value. Great for those on a very tight budget who just need a place to stay as opposed to a place to lounge. Steps away from the hustle and bustle of Ocho Rios local shopping areas and Town Square. Great for the traveler who wants to mingle with & 'live like a local.' No beach but nice shallow ocean swimming. Hotel has amazing ocean views. Beautiful Colonial Architecture but needs major upkeep. Rooms are huge. Didn't see a lot of guests when I was there.
Didn't eat there but lots of restuarants within walking/driving distance, both local & otherwise."

"We know that you get what you pay for but we would pay a little more to be a little more comfortable. Our room did not have a tv remote, had a mildewed shower curtain, and a door that had been kicked in several times and felt unsecure. It was a beautiful location and the manager, and the staff were all hardworking and doing their best. I feel that we were given the worst room at the hotel. The owner needs to put some money into this place even if it means a higher rate. Hopefully if you book you dont get checked into this room.

"Without a doubt this hotel is cheap and has the basic conditions to offer as a two stars one. The oceanfront view, cleanliness and conditions of the social areas are as described.

About its location, sincerely this hotel is located in a not so secure and reliable place. It is located at walking distance to get robbed. Walking at night must be forbidden for tourists, seriously.

Additionally, do not rely to some people who frequent this hotel offering perhaps not licensed services. Don't get cheated!!

As a conclusion, book this Hotel at your own risk. Although it has a mystical and colonial style which could make it worth, I didn't feel confortable and secure on it.

"Lovely hotel with a beautiful sea view. The breakfast is something you can leave out but staff and the hotel itself is very good and without a doubt worth the money!"
