Check in was efficient but friendly. Parking on grounds in a safe area. Staff was courteous and seemed happy to have us staying here. Restarant Bongos was a little high priced but had delicious food. Especially the crab soup and Glazed jerk snapper filets.

This was one of those hotels I saw on TripAdvisor that was on my list of hotels I wanted to stay at, so I had high expectations. The opportunity came and I decided to spend my staycation at Sandy Haven a couple weeks ago. And I am so happy I did. It was far too short a trip and I will definitely be back. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Loved the décor. Nice bright colors. Modern look. Staff friendly and accommodating, food was great and the beach and pool well maintained. Made good... Read more

My stay at Sandy Haven was short, but sweet. I want to start off by talking about my experience with the staff, as I felt they were exceptional. I've heard people complain about staff being "rough around the edges" or "rude", but let me just say that this is far from the truth. I travel quite a bit, and my experience has always been great because you gotta give respect to get respect! Even when you're upset, you can still express yourself without being condescending, and it'll go a long way in ... Read more

Beautiful resort along the seven mile beach in Negril . Although the beach was perfect and the room was awesome the staff was not friendly at all. The free breakfast was a joke fruit was soured and it took me 20 mins to get that. They need to replace their staff and don't offer breakfast if it's that much trouble.

My sister and I spent nine nights at Sandy Haven the first week of May and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The first thing you notice at this resort is how new and nice the buildings and furnishings are. When you walk up to the front desk, there is a lovely covered outdoor cushioned deep-seating area. The rooms all have modern amenities including comfortable bedding, a beautiful shower (tile was gorgeous), flat screen television with remote, beautiful tile and hardwood flooring, desk, and a dressi... Sandy Haven indeed lives up to it's name. It is a small piece of paradise located centrally on the beautiful 7 mile long white sand beach. The property is small and well laid out. Even if you don't get a beachfront room it is only minutes to the beach. The rooms are very spacious and well laid out, with fantastic balconies. The decor is appealing and quite modern. The only minor issues we had with our room were with the washroom. The floor in the walk-in shower, which was very modern and... Read more

We were welcomed with complimentary rum punch and showed to our rooms. They were very helpful in letting us know where everything was and how things worked. The beach was just steps from our room and easily accessible. There are a lot of locals on the beach trying to sell you things and if you're uninterested the hotel's security was always on point with getting peo... Read more

The rooms are also very spacious with high ceilings. The staff are also amazing, don't forget Jamaica is very laid back, so don't mistake this for rudeness. Romeo at the Beach bar, Kion at the restaurants and Leroy at the gate deserve special mention, for being awesome! The beach is lovely and in an excelle... Read more

Great location. The rooms are very nicely done, with an understated elegance. The beach area is very nice with lots of beach chair, umbrellas and cabana and a beach bar. All the staff we encountered are very friendly and service is good. The only downside to this hotel is the quality of the meals at the restaurant. They should work on this. This could be an amazing property with a few updates, staff service training and most importantly fumigation!!! This property is infested with what the locals call sand flies upon returning home and several nights of bites from the mystery bugs. It has been discovered these are actually a species of termite. They shed their wings and crawl on around and into the bed (the frame is wood) causing ery painful blistering sores. Bottom line Sandy Haven!!! EXTERMINATE THE WHOLE PLACE! this issue ... Read more

This place, the staff, the food, the amenities, the location, I MEAN EVERYTHING is white glove, top of the line, pristine, but most important they all make you feel like family. I have been going here for 4 years, at least 3 times per year. I'm not sure why I never wrote about this before, ( probably because I wanted to have it all to myself, selfish me....LOL) but this place is truly amazing. Ask them for Joe's room and they will know who sent you and who recommended this 5 star resort.

This is not a bad resort property, but there are some things that can make the property a five star resort. Let me start with the the good. Amazing service from Pops (Canute) and Jodi. If you visit, make sure you ask for them. I could take up a page writing on the impeccable service they provided. Everything was with smile, no matter what you asked, needed, or requested. It's a great resort with very intimate atmosphere, friendly staff, fantastic food and comfortable amenities. The beach was just gorgeous. One thing to note is that the hotel's beach is accessible by the public as the beaches in Jamaica are public, however the security is always present and will prevent any unnecessary interactions with people trying to sell their crafts, fruits etc. It's the smallest hotel I've been to but it simply one of the best one at the same time for this reason as it's ve... The hotel is picturesque and modern. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay there again. The room was huge and nicely decorated. When u enter the room there is a entry way before you enter the bedroom. There were two sinks in a separate room than the bathroom. It was very spacious. Continental breakfast is included. The hotel however does not have reliable WIFI in the rooms. Also there is no elevator. I stayed in a Ocean view room on the top floor.

Great room overlooking the beach. Really friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks at the beach bar. The lady security guard was a scream and so much fun and also kept the beach sellers at bay. This part of Negril beach is beautiful and I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Our room had a massive cathedral ceiling loads of space and a fabulous balcony.
