"I stayed at Samsara for 5 days. My friend and I stayed in one of the king cabins, and 4 of my other friends were in a cabin around the corner from ours.they both felt quaint and private. We had the door wide open almost all of our stay, could still see the ocean even though we were set back a little ways. The hammock on our porch was amazing. The only negative detail I noticed about the rooms was that ours had been painted a brighter color and the other was dark. Made a huge difference everyone agreed, felt much happier with a brighter color.The water splashing up on the cliffs was beautiful and theraputic. Some days the water was calm enough to lay close. Wonderful view of the sunset and great restaraunt across street. will definetly return."

"When I first arrived to Samsara I was a little underwhelmed as the street view of the hotel isn't anything fancy compared to some of the higher end resorts we passed along the way. But when you get into Samsara and see the magnificent views from the pools and cliffs, it was truly amazing to behold. Although there are no beaches at Samsara, the cliff diving that you can do there is extremely fun. Don't be scared to do it as the water is crystal clear and as warm as can be. The pools were warm and clean. The bar/restaurant at the resort serves pretty good food and cheap drinks. If you want to go to the beach a shuttle can be arranged to pick you up and take you to Samsara's sister resort, Legend's, where you can have fun at the beach and sun out. Overall, it was a great experience with great people, food, and scenic views. The only thing I would recommend is lots of bug spray, as the mosquitos there are VICIOUS! If you're looking for a great deal and a good time, Samsara is an ideal location for travelers."

"We are frequent travelers to Jamaica (8 times). We have done the all inclusive, local homes and small family owned resorts. We have stayed here several times, you will find it is a small clean property in the Westend with fabulous views, friendly, helpful staff, big pool, lots of chairs to soak up the sun. The towels may not be the fluffiest, but go across the street and eat at Ciao Jamaica and you'll forget all about towels! or take a stroll up to Three Dives or Just Natural for another great meal. Be sure to also hit Xtabi for a drink or head down the cliffs and pop into Mi Yard for some late night conversation and food. Samsara also has themed dinner nights and a sister property on the beach if you want to go down to the 7 mile and enjoy what the beach has to offer. We had 12 people in our party this year, all adults and we had a FABULOUS time!"

"Great trip! For the value, it was perfect! My friend and I stayed for four nights and the hotel was just our style. It was sunsets every night, no messy sand, and you felt like you were on top of the world overlooking the water. The ocean view and AC in the room were worth the upgrades. They are sticklers on towels, haha, so I would recommend bringing your own from home. Also bring bug spray if you are prone to getting bit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I agree with a lot of the comments written in the other reviews, such as settling your bill at checkout and using the convenient, free shuttle to go to Legends beach. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend! Will hopefully be back soon!"
