I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The property is right on the beach and in walking distance to a ton of hot spots in Negril. The staff is super efficient and hospitable. Our room was cleaned to perfection daily. The food & drinks at the restaurant bar were better than many other places we ate at. I am so impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the facilities that I will stay there when I return.

This is a beautiful resort on the beach. The scenery with all the different flowers and trees was wonderful to look at. It didn't give you the hotel vibe, like packed with guest and hear loudness all night. It was nice and quiet. We switched rooms upon arrival because of mosquitos. The staff was accomadating. Our next room was good but had some ants in the bathroom, which I could deal with. Do not expect 5 star hotel. This one was beautiful, intimate, personable. However if you are limited on fu... First time visiting Jamaica and staying at the resort. Overall my room was decent, clean, and spacious. After that the other staff were friendly. Food was OK and not as described but the bartenders made up for that. I'll stay closer to Times Square to be near the ongoing festivities.

This hotel lacks every single last amenity available as a standard at most 1-3 star hotels. Simple things like in room seating, iron, comp coffee/tea, microwave, fridge, phone, alarm clock, and most importantly HOT WATER to shower in... are non existent. No variation from standard to upgraded room. Just pictures on the wall and headboard for your bed.Friendly service... is not their forte! Won't get any smiles. The only friendly staff members were the chef and house keeping. While house keeping ... Read more

Because we were in Jamaica, we had a terrific time. The 7 mile beach of Negril is a very special place. The people are lovely, friendly, and, if you aren't interested in what they're selling, politely saying "no" works just fine. Respect. The Palms is a beautiful resort in a great location. The original room we had was very big with lots of closet space and the a/c worked well. We had no hot water in for the first two days and the sink was falling apart, but, they got us a new room a... The hotel appears to be well maintained with on going improvements. The rooms were large, with decent storage in the closets, free safes, and new AC. The week, our first time in Jamaica, was sunny each day. The AC in both of our rooms worked great, so good, we had to raise the temperature at night. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with native plants, large native plants. The foliage attracts insects to this spot to make a unique night time sounds. Loud and weird, like warning beac... Spent 4 days at the Negril Palm and had a great time. The hotel is situated on the beach and close to many activiites (sunset excursions, restaurants, surfing, para-sailing,and more). The staff was friendly and the grounds of the hotel are absolutely beautiful covered with exotic tropical flowers and trees. I never felt unsafe while staying there. I would suggest investing in some cheap solar path lights as it can get pretty dark at night surrounded by all the trees and flowers. A simple and... Read more
