This was our second visit, and this time, we held our own wedding at the resort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue for any couple! The process is incredibly simple, and they work tirelessly to be sure that every detail is perfect. The property is beyond gorgeous, and the staff are simply the best. It would be impossible to thank each and every person individually, and please forgive misspelling of names, BUT - a huge thank you to Krista (concierge), Giselle (wedding planning), Anthony (best photog... Halfway through our second visit with family, children age 4 and 6. We were here 2 years ago.Last year we did Beaches Turks and Caicos. Like the intimacy of Negril, food seems better, fresher. Love the extensive fresh fruit selection at breakfast. My family are late sleepers, so I grab a plate of fruit to go from the Mill while I do this review. Nice addition is Soy for sushi. The seafood is fresh. Love the octopus. Will dine there again before we leave. If you have little ones they will get fo... Read more

We had an amazing trip to Beaches Negril. The beach was PHENOMENAL, the room was great, and the majority of the staff was SO NICE. We've been to several Sandals so we knew what to expect, but this was our first trip to Beaches. We ran into some minor issues: beach towels weren't restocked in the late afternoon, bartender at the pool bar wasn't friendly (hours were unclear for pool service), water sports recreation hours were limited (we are early risers and would love to be able to paddleboar... We just returned from a week long vacation at Beaches Negril and it was amazing! First off the beach (7 mile) is one of the most gorgeous, picturesque beaches I have ever seen. It alone is worth the trip to Negril.... The Resort itself was fantastic too, the restaurants, entertainment and staff were all top notch and made our entire experience one to remember. What I can truly say put the icing on the cake for us was the friendliness of the staff, everyone was so accommodating and helpful. There... Read more

The resort is young family oriented. If you're into Sesame Street, this is the place for you. The characters roamed the resort during the day and preformed shows early evening. The staff is very friendly and cater to the children. They learn their names quickly and make them feel special. The restaurants are child friendly and have good food the kids will recognize. We just returned from our first family trip to Beaches Negril and it was so great we booked our second trip next year! We have a family of five with three kids (10,8,4) and we stayed in the Santa Cruz block with a Caribbean Beachfront Concierge Suite. The staff and accommodations at Beaches is top notch! The staff goes out of their way to remember and call you by name and are A++ in friendliness. Of course the location is quite spectacular with blue water lagoons and white sand beaches. Food is very good and there is a lot to do. I was at Beaches Negril with my son and his friend both 19. The rooms were large, very comfortable and clean. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and helpful. Food was great - loved the Stew Fish Restaurant on the beach. The Mill was very good too. Plenty of activities for younger kids - older teens not so much. Need to be very careful with kids drinking at bars as 18 is the legal age there. The bartenders will not cut them off!!! Would definitely go again. Wonderful trip.

I just returned home after staying at Beaches Negril with my family. Let me start by saying how underwhelmed I was with this resort. I'll start with the negatives. My number one complaint is how FILTHY the pool was...bugs (including cockroaches on the pool bar), straws, flora, etc. I didn't even want to get in the pool because it was so dirty. We traveled in July, the weather was fantastic. We traveled as a family of 6 (all 18 and over) and stayed in a Beachfront Concierge Suite which suited us well, the 2 bathrooms are great when getting ready for dinner. The beach is one of the best, the water is so clear. We really liked the updates for Mariachis, it looks great and the food was was much better this time around. We just returned from an 8-day trip to Beaches Negril and it was everything we had hoped for - and more. We had been warned about the need to get up early and get towels because the butlers would use all the clean ones...but that was not the case at all. We never wanted for clean towels and, in fact, we never wanted for anything. The staff was always courteous, friendly and kind. The food was terrific, and the entertainment was awesome. Lots of dining options my favourites were kimonos, which is an entertaining teppanyaki restaurant with the chef cooking in front of you at your table. Arizona's was also great with tex mex cuisine. Venetians is very good with white glove service. Stewfish on the beach was a lovely setting for breakfast or dinner. We mostly enjoyed our breakfast at the mill. All the food was very nice. Also Jermaine in the aqua center was great also. My cousin loved him and how engaged with the kids he was. Also on the catamaran cruise I absolutely loved Travees he helped me with snorkeling which I was very terrified to do. And I also loved Tiffany she was very amazing as well! I will definitely ... Beaches is a place to visit with kids. It's an 1 1/2 HR drive from Montego Bay. The beach is very nice but the service and food is ok. Although we enjoyed our vacation very much we expected more from the hotel for what we paid. This is not a place I'd return to. Rooms were clean with water view but they are not ocean front.
