As per usual the staff is amazing and welcome you like family. They finally moved the safe off the floor and up on the wall which is great. The room is clean, housekeepers are friendly and anything you need they can get. I can hardly wait till return again.

This place is on 7 mile beach. Our room was the farthest away from the beach about 100 yards. Beautiful sandy beach and ocean floor. This is about a 3 star, but really cheap. Food was good, service was awesome. Lacked nightly entertainment but Negril is about a 5 -10 walk from resort and The Jungle is a bar across the road with nightly entertainment. Pot is readily available and smoked on your balcony. Jamaica is legalizing pot, you can have 2 grams and no charge. All round excellent trip would... Read more

We had booked this resort prior to reading any reviews. The price was so good! We stayed for 3 nights. The reviews on trip advisor were mostly spot on. It's a very basic resort. Small, with little to no glamour or expensive things. So if this is what you are looking for, you will be disappointed. There is no room service either. The rooms were very basic, two beds a Small TV and a bathroom. The water is warm at best. I didn't get a real hot shower in. We paid an extra $20.00 for an ocean vie... Read more

Stumbled upon this place via groupon. Small property but just what we were looking for. Had an issue with the first room we were given. There were ants, but when switched to another room we had no problem from there. Room was just right for our 3 night stay. The air conditioning worked and the showers were hot enough. The restaurant had a nice view of the ocean. The staff was super friendly and we felt very welcomed. Yoshi and venny took good care of us. The food was ok,everyday it got better. T... Read more

Wee stayed seven nights at the end of April. Don't believe the bad reviews, some people are never happy. That being said, this place isn't for everybody. But, we LOVED it, and would return again. It's a smaller, older resort. But well kept and clean. We went all inclusive. Totally worth it. Just the unlimited piña coladas and daiquiris were worth the all inclusive price! The food was good, always something for everyone - my wife is a vegetarian and did much better than expected. Thanks to Yo... Read more

We were there May 11-18, 2016. This is a very small resort, 45 rooms. Even if you were on the furthest room at the back of the property, it would take you less than a minute to get to the beach. It's Negril - the 7 mile beach is beautiful! The resort is VERY clean, especially the rooms. the beds were a bit hard and the AC was either on or off, no actual temperature control. The food was mostly Jamaican and greasy for the most part, also repetitive, but there were always salads and a daily ... Read more

June 03rd to 10th 2016 Walking into the Fun Holiday Beach Resort is like stepping back into a time long past, where life was much simpler and not so complicated. It is like going to visit Granny and enjoying all her wonderful, wholesome cooking (not a big selection) and being embraced by the beautiful, warm, Jamaican Family who own and run this hotel. The accommodations are more like an old, tired, rustic colonial home, than an actual hotel. There is not a fancy bone and it is a very differen... Read more

This was my second visit to Fun Holiday and it was great. I went with my friend who had never been to Negril before. I warned her it is a small hotel but when I was there 3 years ago the staff was amazing and the location is gorgeous! I can pleasantly confirm the staff is still awesome and of course being on Seven Mile Beach is wonderful! I cannot say enough about the high level of customer service we received. We just got back after a week stay. I would consider this a 2.5 star hotel. The bathroom toilet was broken which led to flooding in the room. Due to front desk only being opened from 8am-10pm, unfortunately we had to wait until staff arrived at 8am. Therefore, if you experience any type of emergencies, good luck. The food was good although at times i believe they would recycle the leftovers to formulate a new dish. For instance for breakfast you would have corn beef and for lunch corn beef pizza... Read more

Pros: * Some of the food is delicious, notably the chicken, fish, red beans & rice, fresh fruit, and rice pudding * Their tropical mixed drinks are wonderful * Pool is clean and well maintained Cons: * Food choices on the buffet are very limited, especially for breakfast * Sketchy food handling practices, like taking sausages off the heating element for a while before putting them back * Paid extra for an "Ocean view" room with no view of the water whatsoever * In-room safe costs $4/night * Una... I am trying to leave an honest review, first time in Jamaica and was disappointed but after paying so much and travelling so far, after the initial shock we decided to make the most of it. The accommodation itself was very poor and is in dire need of refurbishment and modernisation. The first room we were given had the toilet overflowing for 3 days before we requested to be moved,... We joined a group of friends for a week long stay on the beach. This is not a luxury resort but had everything we needed, a beach, bar and a restaurant. The rooms were quite adequate and cleaned daily by attentive and friendly staff. We only ate a few meals at the restaurant but we had no complaints. You can choose to do an all inclusive package which includes meals and booze but we chose to do room only as we generally like to get out and explore.

Had a FANTASTIC return to Fun Holiday Beach Resort. This rustic Jamaica all inclusive isn't your typical Mexico/Cuba type resort, but we LOVE it. The food was fabulous, the entertainment was fun, and the staff really outdid themselves! We would come back, and the value for what you get can't be beat. The beach on the resort is amazing and we had a blast! Thanks for taking care of us again! We will be back! (but PLEASE upgrade your wifi signal. It's sketchy at best!)
