"This trip was my first time in Jamaica and i expected far more professional service from the hotel staffs which i had to fight to recieve. When we landed in jamaica at the Montegobay airport at 12:30pm, we called to make sure that the room was ready since we had arranged with one of the staff that we would be arriving early. However, the room was unprepared. They then notified me that they will call when it was ready. To our dismay, they never even called back, which was very disrespectful and inconsiderate. We ended up being stuck outside in the Grange Hill area and luckily a friend was at home so i could stay until the hotel was ready. We finally called the hotel 4-5 hrs later which they informed us that the room was now ready. This is VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! When we checked out and returned to the U.S.A we found out that our bank account was charged $1244,.30 in excess which was confusing and should not have happened. I have a lot of inconvienience and now i have to pay for their apparent or intentional mistakes. I am vey dissatisfied and i would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Hotel is very clean but really needs some updating urgently. It is a great value for the $$ and the locatin of the hotel is great. The food at the restaurant is very good but the service not so good. Don't use your credit card it's a rip off. Use Jamaican cash where you can. Get cash from ATM (best rate).
We had a real good time all together and we plan to go back soon."

"What we liked: controllable air condition. The jerk chicken from the bar. the distance to town.the lobby. What we did not like: the floor of our room never looked clean. The quilt of the bed looked unwashed. the room, closet and bathroom looked unfinished. the workmanship was poor. the outside table on the veranda had only one chair for two guests, and that chair was unstable as two legs out of 4 were shorter, one in the back and one in the front. Having had a meal at Presley's bar the chef himself brought us back to the hotel just to be treated poorly by the security at the gate.. we felt embarrassed about his treatment.

"I spent the month Feb 16 - Mar 16, 2012 and enjoyed my stay very much. The staff were all so friendly and made me feel very much at home. I stayed in one of the bungalows which are definately rustic but aftrer research and communication it was up to my expectations, the daily cleaning service was above and beyond my expectation. I cooked most of my own meals which ment I had to go to town regularily to get fresh fruits and veggies, this just added to my Jamaican experience. It was only a short walk to town which I enjoyed, meeting the locals was a treat. If you are expecting the 5-star all inclusive experience it is not for you, if you are looking to experience Jamaica and the wonderful locals this is the place to be. I am a single female and travel alone and staying here made me feel at home and safe at all times. The only time I had a bit of a isssue was durring Spring Break but that is my own fault for not planning for that. The music was a bit loud and tiresome and the Breakers could get a bit loud at night but that is what Spring Break is all about. The rest of the time I found it to be very relaxing so be advised about that time of the season. I have friends in Jamaica and they were welcome to come and visit me at any time which added to my positive experience. I plan on visiting Jamaica again as it feels like home away from home and I will definately be staying here."

"Wow! What a huge disappointment. Room # 31 was dirty and run down. The room did not look anything like any of the posted photos. Sloppy workmanship and no idea of how to finish a room. Disgusting! No phone in room. Asked for a fridge and when we left still no mention of the status of a bar fridge. The outside grounds looked much like the photos. No one ever present at the pool bar to serve guests. The food for breakfast and dinner was great. No safe in room so had to leave some belongings in hotel safe. What a hassle. MY CELL PHONE WAS STOLEN THE LAST DAY BEFORE I LEFT. Not impressed. Thanks but no thanks for the memories of Feb.22-29/12"
