"The pictures are very deceiving. Everything is a little run and down and definitely needs a good paint job. We had two rooms and no sink had a plug, one rooms toilet ran all the time and the other one rocked when you sat on it. When we got to the hotel at 3:00 pm our rooms were not ready, so they told us to go and have something to eat and drink and they would be ready when we got back. We went back in about a half hour and only one of the rooms was ready, the other was have a lock problem. After several phone calls to the front desk and finally a visit at 6: 30 the room was available. For this inconvenience they gave a half hour massage, which no one in my party wanted. After letting them know this it took at least 3 hours of going back in forth over one day they gave us a gift certificate for $40.00. The gift shop really had very little anyone would want, but at least it was something. They staff is really friendly and nice, just disorganized. I ask for bottled water for my room several times and never did get any. The food was okay for the most part, specialty restaurants were good and our last night we went to the buffet and it was the best night. For an all inclusive there was often limited food items. It is the first time I had been to an all inclusive were they ran out and didn't replace the item with more. Also, the vendors all had the same type of items so after the first night it wasn't worth going to them. Plus they are also over priced. If you book this hotel remember that it is partly the culture that is the problem."

"We stayed at Brezzes Trelawny Nov. 1 to 8, 2010, the time of Hurricane Tomas. At first we were a little worried when the bus turned into the parking lot in front of the hotel. It was not as expected... much more dated in appearance, but that is where our worries ended. Our room was clean and everything worked well, including the air conditioning, the food was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Contrary to what the info says, there is a mini-fridge in the room, but it is not stocked. Having the fridge in the room was a plus, so we could keep our bottles of water cold. There were some issues with the elevator not working, but taking the steps was not a problem for us. The rooms were on the noisy side, as you could hear the people in the next room or in the walkway outside the room, or the entertainment if you decided to go to bed before they ended their show. Would we go back.... you bet! The service, the food and good wine made up for the little negatives. "

"I searched many wed sites and found that Book-It was offering the best rate at the time I wanted to travel. Trelawny offered enough activities to keep both my sons busy. (16 and 12) This gave me and my husband a lot of alone time. The restaurants were very nice and the food was good. we had a very relaxing, fun filled vacation. Snorkeling and Sailing was just incredible. I only wished they offered para sailing. The nightly entertainment was fun, and the drinks were plentiful. Shout outs to STAR TIME< LORI ANNE < MONA LISA > HERON > JERMAINE > AND SMOKIE, These guys went beyond their normal duties to make sure we were having a Great Time. Whatever we needed their reply was 'No Problem Mon'. I suggest if you have a lap top take yours and get the wireless access, it's a lot cheaper than using the internet cafe. Overall I can say we had a GREAT time. The sunrises were spectacular. Our trip was well worth the price we paid and yes I would recommend Trelawny as the place to go to IF you have kids, and want to also have some alone time with other adults. This is NOT a five star resort but, they clean it everyday and the employees will go out of their way to see that you are having a wonderful vacation. "

"I`ve been to this wonderful resort three times now, twice on my anniversary, and each time was better than the last. I plan to go back there in 2010 and, regardless of all the other hotels I`ve tried, will always choose Starfish/Breezes over them all. The ambiance and customer service, especially, was amazing from the moment we entered the Reception Area till the time we left. It can`t get any better than that."
