"A group of my cousins and I stayed at the above location for about 4 day, and let me just say That I was so sad to leave. I travle alot but this Resort was one of the best that I have ever stayed at mainly because of the service. Everyone was great from the front desk. Mr fresh and G Money who are apart of the entertainment section, one agent who is a customer service rep and the staff member who was our butler on down to several other people . One of the servers and another who was waiting on us at the beach for our drinks.. I honestly felt like I was visiting family . I would def refer this resort to anyone who wasnts to have a great time and really have great service.. I will be back very soon to visit my friends and a few new people that I met while staying there . God Bless .. Irie .."

"As I read the reviews for the grand on multiple websites- I remained a little skeptical due to my unfamiliarity with the brand. However all the wonderful things that were said about the Grand were true- and at times even understated. I unfortunately have to admit I am a little 'hotel bourgeois' so my expectations are high. As we dropped off other passengers at their respected resorts - I was a little worried. The outer appearance of them all left something to be desired. However- once we arrived at the gates of the Iberostar- I knew at least the initial impression suggested the Grand was a step above the rest. We were met at the entrance with a cool towel- which was very refereshing after a long flight on a simmering day. The bellman William greeted us with a genuine smile and desire to help , that lasted then entire time we were there. He helped set the stage for what was to be a wonderful vacation. This was followed up by Front desk representative whom we were so thankful for. Upon our arrival- there were no King beds available- which wasnt the worst thing that could happen - but for an anniversary trip- a King bed was most desired. He first- took his time to review the residence to see if there was an availability-and there was- however- he asked us to trust him-and told us that he knew he could find us a better room- if we didnt mind being patient overnight. We assured him that this was no problem- and admittedly our inital room was lovely and did give a direct view of the sunset. However, he successfully switched our room to a wonderfully situated king bed- that made both my husband and me happy...(actually elated)--so please someone- Give him a raise- he deserves it. We also were advised that the property was upgrading the properties carpet (this was a source of many negative remarks on reviews I read prior to our arrival) this upgrade was associated with a mildly unp;easant scent of freshly laid carpet- However inconvenience lasted only a minute (literally) b/c our butler immediately lit a wonderfully smelling room freshner that completely removed any unwanted smell- Of note the hallways are always lined with this fragrenced oil- and it is provided nightly as a part of the turn down Service. The Butlers were also wonderful. They made sure our every need was tended to...and always with a smile. Admittly- the access to the butler service is not as 'efficent' (for lack of a better word-b/c the butlers themselves are very efficient) as on of the competitors who provides cell phones to guest to reach their butler- but the availability of either the concierge or your butler at all times- made up for the fact that the cell phones were not the mode of contact. In addition- butlers who were tending to other guest were also very eager to assist you when they were not tending to their own guest. The property was always very clean, the pool was beautiful and the everything about the hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. I was taken in by the artwork- which were duplicates of artist like monet and salvadore dali and other well accomplished artist- which made a simple walk down the hall- like a mini gallery tour ( I loved it). The choice of foods were excellent- I would recommend trying them all for yourself- b/c reviews from others stated certain restaurants as favorites- and these were not necessarily the ones that stood out for us- Know that you will have more than enough choices - no matter which restaurant you choose- and dont be fooled by the 'type' or theme of the restaurant- b/c there will be many choices that stay true to the carribean motif - in them all. I did not love the factthat reservations were need for most of the dining establishments- b/c they seemed to book up quickly. Also - my least pleasant interaction was with a staff member- who actually had to assist me on numerous occasions and always did her job- but unfortunately she could benefit from a little more training on her delivery- We arrived around 5pm due to a delayed flight- and were told that we couldnt eat in one of the rrestaurants b/c we needed reservations- I asked well what is usually done in this case- b/c I am certain that this must happen often ( guest arriving a little later than 3pm check-in and 5pm really isntthat late) Ultimately she said she would walk over to the restaurant to have us place on the list- which was good customer service 'action'--- but the demeanor was lackluster- and left alittle to be desire- not at all rude - but just not as eager to assist as a 5-star employee should be--- but again I reiterate - she did her job and admittedly worked her butt off the entire week- even pulling a double- This slightly below satisfactory disposition for the moment- in no way overshadowed the excellent customer service we received during the remainder of our trip. The shows were 'decent'- probably can be improved a little- but were still a lot of fun. And the Club - the Mango Walk was superb- the DJ was excellent- just enough reggae- mixed with the most current Billboard smashes and enough classic hip hop ( like Snoops the Chronic) that kept everyone on the dance floor. My Husband can attest to the fact that the drinks were not watered down- and trust me- he's a professional :). The activities that were available were excellent- daily yoga or Tai- Chi...aqua aerobics, pool basket ball and volleyball. or enjoy a leisurely game of horseshoes. Also b/c you have access to all the Iberostar properties there- you can take a nice leisurely drift along the lazy river- which may be a little too lazy (Kick up the current a bit will you please). Also the game room/computer room was always a great escape from the sun - and provided an opportunity to stay in touch with families on the main lands. There is also wi-fi available in the main lobby- I would have appreciated if i had access from my room- which on the last day I was there I read in the prtfolio that this could have been requested - if I had let my Butler know- of and by the way- if you want to be a little lazy bones- your butler will have your clothes washed and /or pressed for you. There were also reviews that reported lack of pool side chairs- this is not the case- there were always lounge chairs available- perhaps a little further back than desired if you mosey out of bed late ( the early bird gets the worm- or pool side beds- so buck up)...but of not the swings on the balaconies of the room - provide opportunity for anytime lounging - with a wonderful view of the ocean. And Finally- the spa was bliss- we appreciated Sasha and Stacey Ann and the wonderful= wraps, facials and massages they gave me and my - husband. I liked the fact that we were able to stay in the same room for all of our services and they were done by the same people. Of note- the spa check in - is a little chaotic- there is not enough instruction for the men and too much noise - also the men are given the same- tiny little robes that the women are given- so keep on your knickers... unless of coarse some staff meber reads this and takes my advise on at minimum providing the men with the same robes used in the guest rooms- until they order some that are more specific to be used at the spa- but do something please. We dont need to see all the mens business. Ultimately - once we were getting our services- the suites for this were downstairs and in a very peaceful and serene area- so be sure to hit up the spa. Room service was good and fast. The worst part of the trip- was the leaving -- but 'no worries'... we will definitely be back :)"

"My husband and I just came back from our trip to the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall. We had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived the staff was incredibly accommodating. We were in the 6200 wing of the hotel in an ocean front suite the view was amazing. Although the weather was not the greatest, it was overcaste and cloudy for most of the time we were there, the weather did not affect out trip negatively. We had such a wonderful time we have been sulking since we returned home. I'm originally from Jamaica my husband is American, we visit Jamaica on average 2-3 times each year and stay at different hotels to get a feel of the accommodations and hospitality. We only stay at 4-5 star resorts and we must say Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is highly regarded. The staff, especially at the front desk were amazing. We can't say enough good things about our stay and the staff. Although we rarely go back to the same hotel twice, Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is worth a second trip. Simply divine!"

"We had such a good time there. We went for a family wedding and it was Grand at the Grand! Everyone was so nice and really wanted to treat us like Royalty! The butler was superb, he showed us around, and took really good care of all of us. Anything we needed..... Now we want our own butler. The food was excellent, and the property was clean. Would not go anywhere else in Jamaica."
