Old hotel, small room and small bathroom, typical of an older European hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast! Lido is quieter than Venice, have to take a water taxi to get to Venice, but a very charming island. Great restaurants, beautiful beaches. Only get 60 minutes of free wifi. But still a nice place to stay.

I really didn't like this hotel. Yes, it was a boat ride to Venice proper, but the hotel was spooky. I had my windows opened at night a little and in the morning they were locked and bolted shut. I DID not close them. The internet was not free but it didn't work well any way. GREAT breakfast though!

This hotel is in a great location and has a charming lounge but the rooms are in need of modernisation. The shower was not very powerful and it would have been nice to have a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Reception were not as friendly or informative as other hotels we stayed in Italy but the owner was quite hands on and we saw him daily and he was friendly although his English was not great he seemed like a jolly happy fellow who always said hello. Breakfast was adequate but again... Read more

Visited this hotel recently on our first trip to Venice. We were presently surprised at the location, which was just opposite the water bus station - ideal! We opted for the "superior" room with lagoon view, which was a lovely way to start the day! Only down side is the continual nightly water bus every hour and Road bus service that goes through the night, with one bus following on 5 minutes later then returning half hour later! Room was clean, although quite small. But it was adequate for a s... Read more

I don't know what it is about Venetians but their very unfriendly and unaccommodating. The daytime young man who checked us in seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else and loathed his job. Fortunately i snagged the only hotel room with a balcony so that was good. Otherwise don't even bother to ask the staff for anything, they couldn't care less with anything that would make your stay enjoyable. All requests and inquiries are dismissed as unimportant and bothersome details. Want extra pillows? ... Read more

From the very first moment we made contact with the hotel to book a stay which extended over eleven nights, the staff couldn't have been more courteous or helpful. Our rooms were clean, quite large and well decorated. They were serviced to the highest standard every day. The hotel overall has a very appealing character, and its proximity to the Vaporetto station was a huge bonus - especially with a large group of 30 to lead - when travelling to the mainland and further afield. Breakfast was more... Read more
