Lovely bedroom with a cream carpet! Well positioned for all the sites. The roof terrace is a great place to watch the hustle and bustle of the Grand Canal. The food in the restaurant was average . The breakfast room was a dream with a very welcoming waitress. Breakfast to the sound of Andrea Botchelli ! The reception could improve their welcome not made to feel a honoured guest in a 5 star l hotel.

Attentive service, excellent rooms spacious and clean - highly recommends. Beautiful rooftop terrace and rooftop bar views of the canal! Was a perfect spot to have a drink before dinner. Made our stay there incredibly enjoyable. Also location was great, with the boats to Burano and murano completely accessible.

Ca'Sagredo is an extraordinary hotel located in an ideal spot on the Grand Canal. The facade and lobby are impressive, making you envious of the Doge who built it as his private residence centuries ago. A five minute walk gets you to the bustling Rialto Bridge and Rialto market, or go the opposite direction and you're in the trendy, non-touristy Cannareggio area. The hotel itself exceeded all of our expectations. There's a cocktail bar and terrace on the 4th floor with good views up and down t... Read more

Loved this hotel. A converted Venetian Palazzo that retains the grandeur and period authenticity of the city and its surroundings. Fresco's await as you climb the stairs to the second floor that boosts high ceilings and walls adorned with more paintings. even a few pieces of Murano glass. My husband and I stayed here recently on our honeymoon. We had a room on the 4th floor with a private terrace (had to climb several wooden stairs to get to it), and though the room was huge and very well appointed, if I stayed there again, I might request a canal window view. The area of the hotel is a very busy part of the canal, across from a fish market, so it would be noisy, but a cool view. We had a sitting room and the bathroom was great-large and very nice. This hotel is one of the old grand properties of Venice. As others have mentioned it is of a museum quality. Unfortunately our stay was marred by a number of simple, yet annoying problems. Firstly, this property was apparently renovated and updated in the early 2000's. Our room, which was a Jr. suite, showed significant signs of wear from frayed carpet edges to less than clean carpets. As many times as we have visited Venice, we never actually stayed in the city. So, how fortunate it was that we discovered the absolutely perfect hotel. This exquisite 5-star boutique hotel is a 15th-century palace that sits right on the Grand Canal. Everything about this property is exemplary - from the magnificently appointed guestrooms to the stunning public spaces to the superb cuisine. And the service is just what you would expect from a luxury hotel - outstanding. As is the location. ... Read more

We stayed for a long weekend in November. Our arrival set the tone for our stay as we were greeted with a lovely and welcoming tour of the hotel. Our junior suite overlooking the Grand Canal was fabulously characterful while being very comfortable. The location was fantastic - close enough to many sights - and with some excellent restaurants close by that are slightly off the beaten track. Thoroughly recommended!

Fabulous hotel on the grand canal with easy access by water taxi. Rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and the Artwork was stunning. Staff was welcoming and helpful and we loved the complimentary tour to the islands of Murano and Burano. Location is perfect for sightseeing and dining optipns. Our favorite place during our recent trip and will definitely return.

As I had already paid a very high rate to stay there I was reluctant to pay this but I thought it would bite... Read more

A spectacular staircase leads up from the main reception hall with frescoes on the walls and ceilings to a huge 'salon' which runs the length of the building to overlook the Grand Canal, then into the breakfast rooms and tucked behind them is the music room - go and check these out, they are beautiful. On arrival by water taxi ... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. It's near gondola rides, a vaporetto stop and shops. The room size and bathroom were quite large and clean. Breakfast was very good. The service was good.
