We had a large room with a balcony over looking the Grand Canal. Champain and fruit were delivered the first night. (I don't know why, I just booked an ordinary room). Convient to restrauants and transportation. WiFi only worked in the lobby. Air Condition worked fine. Free breakfast was very good. Staff was most helpfull.

We were directed here for one night at the end of a cruise, the hotel we were originally assigned to was oversold. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large, the bathroom was marble and beautifully appointed. The breakfast was excellent, a mix of continental and cooked options. The hotel is right next to the grand canal and ideally located for the train station, bus station and vaparetto stops. Loved our stay here.

If you want to be near the station or the port, then this is the place. It's on the Grand Canal, so it costs - but it's beautifully maintained and has charming character. And if you have some spare time before shipping or training out, then at least it's in the right place for walking around. The staff were attentive and helpful with all service and organising porters, transport etc. The room was definitely cosy but well enough equipped, absolutely clean and maintained. ... and in a most crowded area, the hotel is quite popular with groups. It may be really convenient if you reach Venice by train and If you are lucky and have a room in a high floor giving on the back, you may have a lovely view and no noise. The staff is usually kind and helpful, despite some limitations. At 11 pm there was no way to have a hot water for a tea, which is a bit unusual for a 4 star hotel. Overall we were very happy with our stay at the Boscolo Bellini hotel. We flew into Venice and took a water taxi to the hotel, which was only steps away from the taxi stop. The staff was courteous and knowledgable. We requested a baby crib for our 2 year old daughter which was already set up when we checked in. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and offered all different variety of food. Our room overlooked the church on the 4th floor and it was fairly quiet. We hear... Read more

This was my first time to Venice and I was not disappointed. I stayed at Bellini for 2 nights and it was absolutely lovely. Situated right off the Grand Canal, it is very easy to get to by water taxi or bus. When you walking the Hotel you are greeted by an amazing glass chandelier. The staff was courteous and very patient with my rough Italian. The room was beautiful, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. LOCATION- This hotel is in the perfect location. It is walkable to everything. If you have never been to Venice- getting around is more difficult than you would think-hotel location is key. ( hint: gondolas are just for tourists- like a carriage ride in NY- not transport). There are private Water taxis which depending on where you are going can cost over ?100 each way, and water busses with are ?20 per day ( but often are body to body packed with sweaty people) so plan to walk. My room was actually minuscule, but comfortable with a lovely bathroom. When in Venice, in such a great location, who sits in their room? Beautiful glasswork in the chandeliers and on display. The breakfast buffet is ample and nicely presented. Have a Spritz in their little bar area. Nice, helpful staff. Wifi worked well.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Since I was traveling with a tour group and our payment was for the full tour package, I can??t speak against the value of the hotel. The hotel is old; after riding the elevator once, I decided to take the stairs to my room on the 4th floor! The room that I stayed in was small with worn carpet and weak floors. It felt like the floor was about to fall out from under my feet every time I took a step! The bathroom had seemed to be updated, however it was tiny!... Read more

We were very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this hotel and most importantly for us was it's great location. We arrived in Venice from a cruise ship so it was easy to access this hotel with our luggage. We used the People Mover and then walked for 5-7 mins, the short distance to the Bellini. The hotel is situated close to the main railway station and in a pedestrianized area. The rooms are clean and comfy. The bathroom is adequat with a nice and powerful shower. The breakfast offers a lot for a hotel in Italy. All in all is it a nice hotel, with patina that you need and expect in a place like Venice. The only minus is the slow elevator (there is only one).

Both the train and bus stations are just moments away from the hotel and easy to walk to and fro. The location couldn't be better. What can I say about Hotel Bellini? It was eh. When booking this hotel keep in mind that the hotel itself is very, very old, as is most things in Italy. However, unlike other hotels, you can feel, and sometimes smell the old. First, lets start with the pros. My room was well air-conditioned, and if you've traveled Venice in the summer you know how extremely important that is. The room was clean & linens were fresh. We booked a twin room, expecting two beds in the room. However, the two beds were put together (well, it happens in some other hotels as well because of space limit). Worse still, there was only one big big blanket for both of us.
