This is a very good hotel with just about all you will need, tea and coffee, hairdryer, quality bathroom essentials etc. There's complimentary coffee in the reception lounge in the mornings and a laundry room on floor 1. The prices on food and drink are a little extortionate, I think that 6 euro for a 330mi beer is too much, however there's a hotel next door, out of the Hilton and turn left 40m, it's called Pimavera and is a family run hotel, pizzeria and restaurant, everything is half the price... Our flight was arriving in Venice Marco Polo early evening and as our first destination was Lake Garda, we decided to stop the night close to the airport. This hotel is no more than 15 minutes easy drive from the airport. We were able to park the car with no problem and were not charged. We were greeted very warmly and made to feel welcome straight away, were provided information about the hotel and the bus routes into Venice. Top class hotel just a 20 minute bus ride from the island. Getting into and out of Venice with suitcases is a real ordeal. Stopping in Maestre leaves you free to enjoy Venice without any of the pain - and presents a very comfortable home at the end of your day's exploring.

Nice hotel if you plan not to stay at the grand canal. It is about 10-15 mins bus ride to the airport. 2 transport companies, ACTV and ATVO. My personal recommendation is to buy the ACTV ticket from airport. It offers a 1-7 days pass and you can take both buses and any water taxi. ATVO proves a big challenge on the way back to the airport. You do not know which one takes you back to the airport and the buses of ATVO hardly stops for you! The bus service 5 of ACTV will take you to the canal are... Read more

I recently stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn for 5 nights for my trip to Venice. Some reviews here said it was too far from Venice, but I found it very conveniently located to go into the city. A bus stops right outside the hotel area and I never waited long for it and also for the return trip. Some of my friends found the room a little small, but I really liked it a lot. Spent 4 nights here with my 12 yr old for a quick trip to Venice. So simple to get into Venice with the bus stopping just outside. Staff were all absolutely lovely, so helpful and willing to help. Room really comfortable and good spec. Not many English channels on the TV which could be an issue for some children . Pool area great and pool lovely, if a little chilly as weather had been rather cool. Only negative would be that breakfast wasn't the best I've ever had

After touring Venice, it was nice to come back to a spacious modern room. This Hilton Garden Inn is far superior to any Hilton Garden Inn we stayed at in the US. The room is spacious with beautiful lighting, hardwood floor, comfortable beds and floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom is a little gem. Large walk in shower, raised rectangular sink, very good lighting, large mirror, large bath towel and a heated towel rack. Our room was very quiet. We couldn't hear any noise from the street or... The Hilton Garden Inn was a nice property for a very busy area but unlike other Hiltons they did not offer Hilton Honor members any amenities unless you are a Diamond Member. We had a great stay on our last day in Venice. Excellent staff and service. Excellent location - both close to airport for our early morning location and Venice for our evening visit. Bus stop just in front of hotel to Venice.

We stayed there for a couple of nights in July and found the hotel to be excellent in every respect. It was spotlessly clean, the food was excellent and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is well postioned on the outskirts of Venice on the main bus route and you can buy your bus tickets at the hotel. It has a nice pool area where you can relax after a busy day in Venice. They also operate a shuttle bus to and from the airport which costs 14‚?¨. I can highly recommend this ho... Read more

We'd spent most of our time in Venice actually staying at a hotel in the city which we enjoyed. We wanted to make sure that we had ample time to catch our 11:30 flight home from Marco Polo airport which can be challenging. Used points for the stay and got two rooms. Alex at checkin was very good and explained everything perfectly. Arranged for the airport shuttle which had a charge per room of 14 euros which was reasonable. The pool was nice and rooms were not huge but very clean and what on... Read more

When we first arrived, my heart sank. The hotel was right on the main road and wasn't very appealing. I knew that there was a bus stop close by but this was VERY close! However, the hotel has a massive pool which wasn't very busy despite being August and a bus came quickly (only 10mins into Venice) making it an affordable hotel. Breakfast was good: worth ordering poached eggs! Overall, lovely place to stay and no screaming kids!

I looked at many hotels in Venice before choosing this one. Reasons for choosing were: 1) 10-15 mins by taxi from airport (‚?¨30-35) 2) Located halfway between Marco Polo airport and Venice Island, so not too close to all the noise and hustle and bustle 3) A good haven to relax after a busy day on the streets and waterways in Venice 4) Very good value for money: the King Evolution room we stayed in was a very comfortable size and very clean. Usual facilities included beverages and kettle, C... Read more

The hotel was standard and suitable for families who wanted to sit beside the pool all day, however if you want to experience of Venice I would suggest staying somewhere in the centre as the buses and water buses you needed to take to see the beauty of the city was a bit off putting.

Stayed here for a recent wedding anniversary trip to Venice. Really nice hotel, modern, clean with friendly helpful staff. We got free breakfast as part of Hilton honors. The room was good with the usual expected items included. The pool area was clean but noise from the near by road might bother some guests. Pool side bar service was available. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and costs 3Euro return to Venice bus station (2 stops - 10 mins). Tickets are bought from the hotel front d... Read more

The room was excellent. it was spacious, clean and the decor was very modern. there is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to the water taxi in about 15 minutes. The hotel staff are very helpful and even gave us a phone charger as we forgot ours. This is a great hotel to stay. The air is fresher here compared to some parts of venice.

We enjoyed out stay at the Garden Inn. The hotel was clean, modern and perfectly located outside the chaos of central Venice, with the bus taking less than 15 mins to get into central area and without any waiting time as there are two services, the 9 and 15 that go there. The only drawbacks is a mediocre restaurant with nothing else in walking distance and (although it may seem petty) awful tasting. .almost burnt coffee at breakfast two days In a row...anywhere else I'd have not noted it but in... Great hotel! All employees spoke English and made it easy to get directions for Venice. There are some tours that can be purchased in the hotel, but they can only be paid in cash. Bring Euro with you because there is no ATM in the hotel. The nearest one is downtown Venice. Other than that....Awesome stay, Awesome pool and Awesome staff!

Just back from Venice this hotel is excellent. Spotless clean. Beds and towels changed every day. Room was a good size. We had a king room it also had a lovely patio which was decked with a table and chairs. Bus stop was right outside front of hotel. About 10 mins to centre from there take the water bus number 2 to san macro. It takes about 30 mins. I traveled with my daughter and we were able to find are way around quite easily. The bus going back to the hotel isn't a problem either it just lea... Read more

Stayed here at the end of our trip to Italy. It was a wonderful hotel. Pay attention when you're looking for it - and slow down because you may just blow right by it. Especially if you have drivers RIGHT behind you! Wasn't a bad drive down to get to the canals and see all the beautiful shops and eateries in Venice. The staff is very friendly. The dessert is disappointing in the restaurant just FYI if you missed dessert any night and are looking to stop in there quickly on your way up to bed.

We had a one night stay in three rooms for my family of five before boarding a cruise. The rooms were lovely with good views and the small garden and pool were a delight in the sun. The bus to Venice stops on the road by the hotel and costs 1.50 euros each way every half hour (tickets at reception) or a taxi for 25 euros. Simple.

This hotel is very convenient to Venice by bus (15 minutes away and comes often). Be aware that the overhead walkway elevator to get to the bus stop coming here from Venice has been out of service for months if not years. So be prepared to bring your luggage up and over many stairs if coming from the train/bus from Venice. Although not the hotels policy (rather I was told it was the municipalities rules) we had to have 3 rooms for 5 people. Although we had one room with 2 queen beds, we could ... Read more

Really good value hotel only 10 minutes bus ride into the centre of Venice. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern, the pool was well kept and there were plenty of sun loungers. The staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgable about how to get in/out of Venice/to the airport etc. The nice thing about the hotel is that whilst there isn't much to do outside of the hotel's location (there is a supermarket about 10 mins walk away), the pool is a real bonus after a day of sightseeing in Veni... After weeks of "ethnic" Italian hotels (noisy, small rooms, tiny showers, morning coffee down the hall, "iffy" climate control and "Continental" breakfasts), we spent our final night in Italy in this oh-so-comfortable Garden Inn. Staring with a welcome reception that recognized our Hilton Honors status (their Laura is a peach!), they held our luggage until check-in time, helped with transfer to the local train station for a quick trip to Padua, and provided a lovely, quiet, clean room (with in-... It was our first stay at a Hilton and we were impressed. It had a lovely feel about it. It was clean and modern and very well kept. The breakfast buffet was very impressive. There was so much to choose from and very good quality. The restaurant staff are so helpful too. We also had an evening meal at the hotel and this was very enjoyable. The Manager was checking if people were happy with their food, which we thought was very good. It was our first visit to Venice and we were unsure wheth... Read more

The hotel and staff were all great, very helpful and the pool area had lots of seating. Bus stop right out front to get to Venice, 10 minute ride. And the price is right. But I have to say we really didn't enjoy the food in their restaurant, they have good service and the waiters were good just the food wasn't that great, we ate one dinner and one breakfast.

My new husband and I decided to visit Venice and we stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn. It's a lovely hotel and they gave us a free bottle of Prosecco! The rooms are clean and lovely and the staff are very helpful. We didn't use the pool or the restaurant so I can't comment, however they looked great. The bus stop in order to get to Venice is directly outside of the hotel, which is fantastic. We stayed in an adapted room on 3rd floor, staff very friendly, helpful and all smiles. If you complained about or asked about anything the standard answer was "throw your hands in the air, shrug your shoulders and say "This is Italy". Bus stopped right outside, only problem is trying to cross the road, you have to climb a lot of stairs and then cross the bridge with an elevator that has not worked in 7 years, so for us it was impossible, we took the bus in and a taxi back home 20 euros, not bad... I travelled here with my mother in August. Everything about this hotel was spot on. The rooms were modern, big enough, and bed comfortable. For a twin room we both had double beds and had a lovely view on top floor over pool area. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Fresh coffee/cappuccino offered. We ate a few times for dinner and that was also very nice. Recommend the Caesar salad and the calamari. The Hilton burger isn't very nice. We enjoyed two-for-one cocktails with complimentary tapa...
