On the outside this hotel looks like, an industrial building, but how wrong we were. We had a Junior Suite, the windows overlooking Turin city with the mountains in the background, we were able to watch the sunset on the roofs of the old city. The room was spacious, clean and the location is perfect, few steps to the main road, which on weekends turns into a car free road, where one can stroll admiring the top end shops (and I say admiring because all stores are closed on Sunday?? the day when mo... We only stayed overnight for some business meetings but this hotel left a great impression on me. Firstly, the concierge desk. Excellent first impression - very efficient and helpful. The rooms - wow!! It's been a while since I've been impressed by the size, the facilities or the view in a room. This room delivered on all three and it was just a basic room - not a suite. The breakfast - included in room rate I believe - very comprehensive buffet style with coffee and tea made to order. A delight... Read more

The location is central and not too far from train station Porta Nuova so you can come by FrecciaRossa The building is very old with lots of marble. First room we got wifi was hardly working and no air condition - basically it a ventilation system so beware in hot months. You need leave room card in room otherwise disconnects all electricity and when you return room hot. Ask for two keys. We were moved to a different room. The technician reset the internet so wifi better. Cooling was so so lucky... Read more

Arrived late Friday afternoon the receptionist was fab. Our room was a suite plenty big enough for 3 ladies. Bathrobes were a real treat, super bathroom. Had an aperitif in the hotel bar before we ventured out in the evening which was great the barman was very entertaining. This hotel is in a great location near to all the sites we wanted to visit and just round the corner from a shopping centre and a great street of smart shops.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of the central part of Turin. Clean, tastefully appointed with superb professional staff. Courteous and helpful reception, concierge, bartenders and maids. There is a small, but fully equipped fitness center. The breakfast offers the complete array of morning foods. Steps away from Via di Roma and the extensive network of covered colonnades throughout central Turin. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Turin!

Stayed for 3 nights Monday - Thursday in this excellent, tastefully furnished hotel. It is less than 5 mins walk from Porta Nuova train station/airport bus and well placed for everywhere else you may want to visit in Turin. Staff at check in and indeed throughout the hotel were professional, friendly and very courteous. The junior suite we stayed in was on 5th floor with a view of the mountains, well furnished, crisp bed linen, big soft white towels - all very clean. One bug bear - please , th... Read more

This was hands down my favorite stay in Italy! Turin was a beautiful city to stay in, and luckily I found this beauty! Principi di Piemonte was everything I was looking for in comfort and luxury. The place is beautiful with a classy bar, lounge, breakfast room, and outdoor restaurants. Never mind the spa facilities! I stayed on two different occasions and was exceedingly pleased with both. The rooms are spacious and the beds are incredible! The bathroom was large as well and had a walk in sho... Read more

One of the most famous hotels in Turin, located right in the historic center of the town. Makes a point in being as original as possible (original, in this case, means art deco themed). Large junior suite, well appointed, with a comfortable double bed, somebody might not like the style of the furniture. Beautiful two-tone marble bathroom. Wifi didn't work properly. Breakfast not up to five stars standards. Staff extremely courteous. A solid establishment, quite expensive, which could use a few, ... Read more

Lovely room very classy! Room was quite old fashioned in styling but beautiful marble bathroom. The only grievance I would have is that two bulbs were out in our bathroom making it a little dark. Breakfast was excellent and dinner even better. Perfect location in the middle of Turin. A little pricey for the quality, but I think that's to be expected in a city center location. Great place to stay

We traveled by train to Torino for a day trip to the Fiat Museum in Lingotto. After an early breakfast in Bologna, followed by a two hour train to Torino, we were reasonably hungry. Following the custom in most parts of Italy to take the main meal at lunch time, we sought out a restaurant in the Centro Storico that would provide full luncheon. After walking around the Centro Storico, we saw the Hotel Principi di Piemonte. We are familiar with the management company that handles hotel guest se... Read more

Staff was always very friendly and offering help in any way possible. Though they have a sign telling you to only put sandwich bread in the toaster (other bread is too thick and gets stuck, then burning and smoking), we watched multiple guests do exactly what they weren't supposed to do. The attendants were always quick and friendly in dealing with this frustration and even toasted the thick bread in their kitchen for an old man who was rude and, I think, not deserving of such kindness and atten... It's an iconic hotel in Turin. The best located in the historic center. Huge heritage from the Mussolinian architecture the hotel looks now outdated and the service is no longer what it was. Still a very good place to be due to its perfect location and the big size of the rooms inherited from its past glory.

This is a well located hotel in the centre of the old town, so has very good access to most amenities. The hotel stuffed up our booking as their system does not permit you to extend a booking once made. That's crazy stuff as what well run business will turn down business. To extend I had to make another completely new booking for the extra days. Of course at a higher cost, so I understand the motive of the hotel, however that's not good customer service which means I will not stay there again. ... Read more
