I would have thought single rooms with single bed were disappearing. Unfortunately not. Although the room was not a box room and had also a balcony, everything else was dated and very dusty. Bed cover & old dirty curtains included. If I had to rate the hotel based on the room I was given I would have given 2*. Breakfast is ok! Location central station ok-ish. To avoid single single rooms for sure.

I stayed in torino for 5 nights in this amazing hotel. It's very cozy, safe and amazingly located. It's located minutes walking to the commercial area where you can find all the shops you would ever need including clothes, souvenirs, food, shoes, everything. It's also located minutes walking as well to the historical area where you can find the famous museums and churches in torino. Talking about the hotel service and staff, the service is amazing, very clean and tidy rooms with very clean bathr... Read more

We spent one night in this hotel located next to Torino's central railway station. It was very hot but the air conditioning did not work. We had to keep the windows open (and get all the noise from the busy street below) all night long to get a bit of fresh air. This is the hotel policy : no air conditioning before summertime whatever the weather condition... Our room was small, as the bathroom, and very noisy (we could follow whatever happened in the room next door). To avoid unless absolut... Read more

the hotel is centrally located near the main station, down side is a bit of noise depending on the room. room was nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful except for one. hotel has parking, access is from the street behind, but only a few spots. all in all i was very satisfied. enjoy Turin.

We chose this hotel as it was one of the few that could reserve secure parking (for a fee) in Turin's centre. The hotel is near the main station which, as is often the case, is a rough looking part of town although that dies mean that walking to and from the hotel to explore is easier and taxis are available too. The parking was secure although there was only space for our car and three others so not suitable for a 'convoy'! The receptionist was efficient and helpful, providing us with a pla... Read more

I had to change rooms because the first one on the 4th floor smelled so bad of cigarettes and urine. The second room is only marginally better. This is the nastiest Mercure I have ever stayed at. You will not be happy here. My room smells awful. I wish I was somewhere else.

We had a great couple of nights here at the Mercure Torino Crystal Palace. Our stay started well with an upgrade to an Executive Suite. I'm sure my Accor Platinum status helped here! Our room was large, clean and well laid out with huge floor to ceiling windows, unfortunately there was not much of a view. Despite being close to the station there was no street noise heard in the room. The only negative was that the bathroom was looking a little worn. When we returned to the room after our f... This is a good quality hotel only let down by the immediate vicinity which lets it down, although not unsafe it is run down. The receptionist was very helpful and breakfast excellent, secure car parking is available to residents.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast room is on the last floor, light and cozy, coffee is great. The hotel is in convenient location, easy to reach it from airport and easy to get to the central part, good value for the money.

The hotel is walking distance to all the centric sightseeing places. The neighborhood provides a great choice of restaurants although it may look quite underground area but we felt no risk at all. The family room we got was huge and really nicely arranged. Very attentive personnel and good breakfast buffet.

Who needs 150 or more Italian TV channels while there is no international channels. The coffee cups in the room were not washed from the visitors before. The Wi-Fi in this hotel is so slow that we got problems even to open Facebook to get in contact with our friends.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. First we were a little frightened, as a neighborhood is not very nice (close to the train station, lots of drunkards and shabby people around), but got used to it. Room was large, clean and stuff was very friendly. We had a balcony. The breakfast was very nice, especially great coffee and pancakes.

The mercure hotel in torino was overall amazing. The location of the hotel was great; it was very near the central station. Also, the breakfast was fantastic as there was so much variety. The service of Marie d 'Angelo was also really good. She shows a lot of passion for her Job. She also exactly knew the needs of the guests and was always very friendly. The staff in the frontdesk were also very keen to help and didnt hesitate to help us understand the public transportstion.

Very nice facility, comfy beds and spacious rooms with tiny balconies. Breakfast is amazing and the service is very good either. The location is the only thing that keeps me from giving this place the 5th star, it is very central and it is located right next to the train station which is a very convenient thing if you need to travel by train but at the same time it's very inconvenient because the area is quite rough, not the best of the places where to hang out after it gets dark. The hotel its... Read more

convenient for station but little else; essentially a business hotel with no restaurant and only a breakfast room and a bar area. Bar area not very welcoming - more like a slightly upmarket cafe. Two uncomfortable straight back chairs in room - unsuitable for sitting in for any length of time, especially for older people (we are 69). Kettle on tea/coffee tray had to be positioned on edge of top to just about reach electric socket. Having stayed in other Mercure hotels in Italy, this was a di... Read more
