The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, just seconds from St. Marks square but not on the main inroads. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, they really went all out to meet every need and truly were wonderful. The rooms were decorated beautifully in classic Venetian style, and just a bit threadbare with a few repairs needed to bathroom fixtures as well. The view from the canal view rooms was spectacular, looking right out onto the Bridge of Sighs. Unfortunately during ou... Read more

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was an absolutely great location. You could walk anywhere. You could look out your window and see the canal. We had two rooms and they were both completely different. I imagine all of their rooms are different. It honestly felt like a palace. All of the furniture was extremely nice, the curtains, the bed, everything. It was such a cool little place. There was a tiny elevator which was kinda cool. It had free breakfast across the street that was't amaz... Read more

I have stayed in this hotel for one day because i was trying to try something new . I booked a junior suite located in the 2nd floor with canal view (250) Its good thu but u have to handle the noise from the canal early morning! Breakfast is servied at rooms as a standard on time. Its not far from famous san marco arround 5 min walk or less.. Very nice resturants just when you walk out of the hotel.

The hotel was really close to St Marks square with its own landing stage for water taxis. Very nice touch. The big bells of St Marks were not a problem as the rooms have excellent double glazing which gave a very peaceful feel to our pretty room even though we were in the heart of Venice. A big clean bathroom and the Murano glass chandelier gave the finishing touches. We had room service for breakfast which was delightful. The staff were really friendly and even after we had checked out there w... Read more

Charming hotel! Three floors high with individually furnished rooms this hotel is romantic. Next to San Marco and the Dodge palace the location is fantastic. The junior suite 352 is the room with the most fantastic view, you have to ask for a room with canal view and the top floor is the best even if the first and second floor room got small balconies. The bathroom, with steam shower, is clean. The room is too, except for stains on the carpet. It is very quiet for a room in a restaurant distri... Read more

Our family of 5 stayed here in late March 2016. We loved it. We had two rooms, which were spacious, clean, and with canal views - such a delightful way to view Venice. Location was perfect, metres to San Marco Square. The hotel is a little noisy, however I feel this is Venice generally and did not detract from our stay. Would definitely recommend, particularly as you can get the boat directly from the airport to the hotel.

Booked a junior suite here for 4 nights. Staff here is friendly and accommodating. Room nice with a gorgeous chandelier but dated. They only have 13 rooms. The privacy is wonderful. Breakfast was continental either in the room or at a sister hotel around the corner. We recommend highly, and will stay again should we return. The private water taxi from the airport is costly but well worth the price, as it pulls right up to the lobby where staff unloads bags.

This is a small hotel with a few rooms, but the 2 rooms we occupied were excellent. I believe we had the junior suites. The decor was 18th century venetian, very pretty. We had breakfast served in our rooms in the morning. I don't think they have a dining area. The person who served us breakfast was an absolute gentlemen and treated us like royalty. (The restaurants below where a little noisy at night). Venice was beautiful with many restaurants and cafes. It has become a little congested... Read more

Lovely friendly hotel in a really good location right by St Mark's Square. Our room was just perfect with a chandelier and a great balcony overlooking both the canal and the street. We were welcomed with a beautiful pastry nicely laid out on the table in our room, with white linen. This was a very nice touch which we appreciated. No tea or coffee facilities but we brought our travel kettle, complete with teabags so we were very happy. The large kingsize bed was really comfortable and we wok... Read more

Although we stayed here in 2013 I am only now writing a review. we had the second story room with the balconies making the corner of the property, and woke up with the stunning room service of breakfast whilst looking out of our balcony across to the Bridge of Sighs. Although this was our Honeymoon we felt incredibly well looked after and the service was exemplary. One day we will re-visit and one day we will stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel on our honeymoon for 6 nights. The staff was fantastic, super friendly and helpful. We were given a map of Venice upon our arrival and the front desk clerk laid out some attractions and distances for us. When we needed our skip the line tickets printed, it was done without question. We had breakfast served in our room daily and the staff was always friendly and professional. The location is fantastic! So close to San Marco but it isn't very noisy. The value was excellent a... We spend 4 nights in this hotel prior to a cruise. We arrived via the water bus as our last experience in Venice with a water taxi was shockingly expensive. From St. Marks Square it is an easy walk to the hotel even with luggage. It is very close to the square which makes it easy to locate the hotel in a somewhat confusing city of tiny narrow alleys. The room we had was large, and beautiful, a bit frilly as is typical of the hotels we have seen in Venice. The staff was always polite and helpful.... Read more

Very decent hotel for Venice, especially tourists with family and small children due to the great location and proximity to St. Mark's Square. How to Get There: If you take a water taxi, it will take you directly to hotel, but at a much more expensive rate. If you take the Alilaguna, it will be much cheaper and the walk to the hotel is not bad (even with children/stroller). Word of advice, despite what the boat driver advises you (to stop at San Zaccaria), get off at San Marco instead (especi... Read more

The rooms are stunning really, very clean. You should pick this place if you want to be very close to the San Marco square. Staff are nice, but they don't have a restaurant, so the breakfast is catered and kind of poor.

We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. It is ideally located just behind San Marco square although the downside is the bells every morning at 7am, although not an issue for us as we are early risers. The other little negative was only double bed so had to share with my mum but the bed was very large. Breakfast is in the sister hotel across the way but really only basic - cereal, cakes, scrambled egg, bacon, yoghurts, fruit juices and hot drink dispenser.... Read more

Room 150...with a terrace onto the canal..... The best. Piano nobile, first floor, corner room looking out to the Grand Canal, through the Bridge of Sighs. Pole position Three huge Windows and French window onto the canal. Ok, it's a four star. Fading and in need of TLC. But it's still got some chutzpah. Forget about the room delivered breakfast or the sit down option in the sister hotel around the corner. Go out and and forage with the locals for the best coffee in the world, the freshest cro...
