Please disregard the negative reviews of an old fashioned hotel with unhelpful staff. This is a stylistic 1960s hotel with a few mod cons such as a fridge and TV. Yes there is no kettle but why come to Sicily to make your own coffee? The staff are very helpful and friendly. We were even moved to a better room after a large tour group checked out at no extra cost. The breakfast is typical of sicily with more cake than bacon'n'eggs but the coffee machine does a lovely cappuccino. We've only j... Read more

This overall was a lovely hotel and I probably would stay here again, room was lovely with an amazing view of mount Etna, the only downside was the breakfast- there was a fly in the yoghurt, the milk had a skin on top of it, the ham was way expired, there was only greyish murky water in the juice machine, and the oranges for the hand juicer were all mouldy, and when we told somebody, he only replaced them with mouldier ones! None of my family ate breakfast on our first day, and on that day we ha... Read more

Positives: I loved staying at this hotel, especially due to the location (5minute stroll to Taormina's central street either via the small park or the street) and the views. Fantastic views from the lovely classic Italian (though slightly spartan) room with its two balconies (overlooking the pool) of the bay, Taormina and of course Etna in the background. Our room (second floor) was a good size, two large doors each to its own balcony and with a good size private bathroom. There was a small tab... Read more

We came to Sicily to celebrate a wedding. There were only 7 of us and we were staying in various hotels throughout Taormina. My sister and I stayed in the Taormina Park Hotel. We had a lovely room (108 - balcony right above the front door) with fantastic sea and Etna views (we did pay a little extra for this when we booked) Service was excellent, buffet style breakfast (included in price) was good and catered for all tastes. It is not a fantastically modern, minimalistic type hotel and, as such, ... Read more

I have just one criticism of this hotel and after that it's all good. Therefore, I feel I should start with that bad, tell you how hard the wonderful staff tried to resolve it, and move on to the good. I was a solo traveler and so I took advantage of the fact that this hotel had single rooms and booked a single with balcony. What a mistake! On arrival I was first told my room wasn't ready and when I returned to see if it was I was given the key to room 111. I could tell by the Receptionists fac... Read more

Me and my GF at the time (now my wife) stayed here 5 years ago. Like many people we were unsure whether it was a good idea or not? Let me make this clear in no uncertain terms. IT'S OLD AND RUN DOWN! The bar wasn't open at night so i ended up drinking on our balcony every night. When you spend £2000 on a holiday i want a bar thats open at the very least!!! They didnt serve any lunch but everyday went to the trouble of putting the table and chairs out with menus by the pool??? All they cou... Read more

My wife and I stayed for a week in a 'garden' view room which still had a view of Etna and the town. I would recommend a sea view room as the views are spectacular. The hotel and rooms were clean and well equipped with a very good buffet breakfast by the pool. The walk to Corso Umberto in town takes about five minutes and fortunately is downhill on the way back! I would thoroughly recommend the location and we will return at some point for another stay in this delightful town.

I stayed here with my husband the first week in June for 5 nights. We had a room on the 4th floor, with wonderful views. The best thing about this hotel is the stunning pool and terrace area. The pool is very quiet so you often have it to yourself. You get a towel at reception and they change it whenever you want. The breakfast is fine - all you could want. Limited lunch choice, but that seems to be the way in Sicily. You can always pop up the street for something. The air con was a little old f... Read more

Checked in yesterday to the hotel. Given a top floor room with views of sea and mt etna, absolutely stunning. The hotel is very nice and tradition, clean and the staff friendly. The pool area is so relaxing with plenty of beds. Although the hotel is full it doesn't feel crowded. Breakfast was outstanding and too much choice, thus was included in the price. Lunch was a very nice fresh tuna salad and was good value including drink for under 10 euro. Room size is adequate with large bath. We have a ... Read more
