The hotel is ok near main plaza and central market. Rooms are small n shower is smallest. Unfortunately if 4 families reach for breakfast lady at counter can not handle things /Replenishment. Best part is 2 ladies at counter very helpful and that takes care of all (-) ve points. Young boy at reception does not have professional touch. Hotel is on one way side. We took taxi to go railway station paid ?25 for distance which we could walk in 6-7 min. Reception could have advised to walk 60 met... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights on a mini-break to the Amalfi coast. I chose it because the reviews were good, and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the red room on the top floor and it was delightful. The location is brilliant - 5 minutes from bus station in the heart of the village and all the staff were lovely.

Elana and valentina and their enthusiasm to help really made the stay enjoyable . The room was basic, but I did choose the cheapest room! The central location was good. We did a Capri trip with Land and Sea but it was way over-priced. Best to take a standard ferry to Capri and spend the difference on a great lunch, IMO.

Just about the most perfect location imaginable and great value for the price. Maybe 1 minute walk from the main square. It's small, as are the rooms, but well appointed. The breakfasts and staff are awesome. It would not work for anyone with limited mobility as the elevator is tiny, but we burned off the awesome dinners in the numerous surrounding restaurants by taking the stairs. Really loved this little place. It does not have the views of the bigger, fancier places, but you don't need views ... Read more

Palazzo Tasso Hotel is right in the heart of Sorrento sandwiched between the main street and a quite back street. The reception is very small but don't be put off by the sieze. The staff is extremely coorpertive and friendly and could have not done more to make for a nice stay. The breakfast comes with the room and it was excellent. The rooms are new and are fairly large for a city hotel in Italy. I would recommend this hotel as a good alternative to the expensive, larger hotel in the city.

We really enjoyed our accommodations. The staff made every effort to make us comfortable. This place is a real gem. The breakfast provided was the best of all five places that we stayed in Italy on this trip. Fresh fruit, excellent coffee made to order by the staff, pastries and fresh mozzarella & basil & tomato are just some of the perks. The room is modern. The bed is comfortable. There was abundant hot water for showers. The room was very quiet, if you close the window. The town is f... Read more

We just stayed in Palazzo Tasso this past May for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and in a great location smack dab in the middle of Sorrento. The entire staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. The only real issues are that the rooms are really small and they did have challenges getting breakfast served to everyone each morning. They were a bit overwhelmed and ran out of food a few times. A good, but, not great hotel.

We stayed here for two nights and were more than delighted! The service and friendliness of the staff is incredible and nothing is too much to ask. The rooms are modern and clean. The location is extremely central meaning it is busy and can be nosy at night but it did not bother us. The benefits of being so central was fantastic! If you arrive by car, call the hotel ahead of your arrival to ask them to arrange a pick up service for your car to the parking. The hotel can be tricky to find so call... Read more

The staff at the hotel were amazing. From the minute we arrived they were so warm, friendly, cheerful and kind. Their knowledge of the area and surrounding areas was excellent and really helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and modern and free wifi was great. Breakfast had plenty of choice and staff were very attentive and service was swift. the hotel was in a great location in Sorrento with plenty of restaurants to choose from close by. Near to the train station means exploring further afield... Read more

Stayed in this hotel during our stay. Its top attraction is its location - in the heart of all the bars and restaurants and a short walk downhill to the port. The staff were excellent and a special mention to the receptionist who offered to cook scrambled eggs for us when we were late for breakfast. Being picky only '' complaint '' was there was only 6 hangers for the two of us for a week but would stay there again and would recommend.

Stayed for a long weekend recently and had a great time Even before i arrived received a couple of emails from the staff welcoming me checking on arrival times . Couldn't get more cental than this small hotel not for those that want quite as on the main street so always busy but double glazing keeps the noise in the rooms to a minimum My only comment would be that the rooms are very small wouldn't want to stay more in them for more than a few days Breakfast continental but a wide choice that ... Hotel is located centrally, 5min walk from the port and train/bus station so easy to take day trips which is why we chose it. Hotel itself is fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were all amazing, couldn't do enough to help us & they made our stay so fantastic. Special thanks to Elena :-)

My boyfriend and I stayed here last September for one week. I would highly recommend this accommodation. We shopped around quite a bit but we really wanted a central location and were willing to pay a bit extra for that. Palzzo Tasso came in very reasonable and the accommodation was ideal. It is literally two minutes walk to the main square in Sorrento which is a hive of activity morning and night. All rooms have a balcony with seating that overlook the main street in Sorrento. It is a small bal... Read more

Loved the hotel. Clean and is opposite of all the ruins around Sorrento. Very up to date and modern . Couldn't figure out air conditioner for a day and boy was it hot in the room . After it is on, fabulous . Staff was very friendly and helpful and always smiling .

In the center of busy Sorrento with an access from a pedestrian back alley, stands a vertical type hotel nestled among many other buildings. The reception area was tiny, but the extremely courteous hostess nullified any concerns. She had someone take our car and park it off site. She also gave us advice on what to see and do in Sorrento such as the inlaid wood museum and how to get to the beach, in addition to making dinner reservations. The hotel is small with only a few rooms, each of which... Read more

This hotel was easily found although it is in a back street alley. The hotel is spotlessly clean and had everything needed. We stayed for 4 nights and it simply wasn't long enough. Breakfast was delicious and all staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return but request a room on a higher floor as we were in a room that was on the first floor and the hotel entrance and our bedroom window was almost street level making it very noisy early morning.

Easy to find (clear travel details and directions supplied by the hotel really helped for our first visit to the area) and located close to the main square, yet tucked away, Palazzo Tasso provided clean and modern accommodation in a traditional setting. From here we could walk to the train station, the port or the old marina for an evening meal. We were lucky enough to get a great view out over the old town - I can't speak for the other rooms - and I'm sure some would prefer a larger room but fo... Read more
