This was our first visit to Sorrento and our holiday was made perfect by this fantastic hotel. It was everything we imagined a hotel in Italy would be. We stayed in a suite which was spacious, comfortable, had 2 bathrooms and the most lovely classic Italian furniture and tiled floor. The view from our balcony was unbelievable and even in March we had warm weather and sunshine. The food in the hotel is delicious and offers a wide choice for all meals and is especially good for vegetarians. Thi... Read more

The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the sea and about a 15 mins walk into the town. There are lots of steps so if you have any mobility issues then this is a problem although the hotel does have a lift. Hotel spotlessly clean and the staff really friendly. Breakfasts were excellent and the views were amazing. If you are going to pompeii get the train from sorrento and the express train takes just 20 mins and is very cheap. The bus along the coast is an experience so if you get travel ... Read more

Is a fantastic place if you're going for the hotel but it's not that nice if you go just for eat because doesn't have a huge selection of plates on the menu. Anyway I recommend to the people if they wanna wake up with an amazing view from their windows.

We were treated like royalty here! Unbeknownst to us at the time we checked in, we were actually upgraded to a larger suite, which was very kind of them. Throughout our stay they recommended great restaurants (Sophia's, I believe was one of the names) & the gentleman who waited on us each night for drinks went out of his way to make us comfortable. The views from our room were amazing and the hotel was close enough to other places that you could easily get around by taxi. We wouldn't hesitate fo... Read more

A minor confusion on transfer from Naples put right by the professional and ever smiling reception manager Francessco led us into a dream 5 days at the hotel. Views to die for yet a short and safe 10 minute walk into Sorrento itself. The rooms immaculate with probably the best views on the coast. The dining experience second to none with the Maitre 'd , Michelle, offering advice , guidance yet unobstrusive in that old school , genteel way . Nothing but praise for these two gents , the staff and... Read more

The View from our balcony was the type they use for travel brochures. The front desk service was exceptional; especially Gianluca. His help was paramount in arranging our daily excursions. The breakfast wait service and the buffet was second to none. take advantage of all the side trips in the area

An amazing place to stay. The staff were very friendly. Excellent breakfast, with a good variety. Could be a little quieter, but that is only because of the tiled floors. Views from the balcony were amazing. Would recommend. Would be happy to go back.

We've just spent a really enjoyable week at the Hotel Belair - we were met at the door by a friendly hotel porter and from then on, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The hotel is kept very clean, food is good and the views are spectacular. A really good base for visiting places like Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri and the Amalfi coast. Gianluca and Rossano deserve a special mention for their good humour and patience with our attempts at speaking Italian.

We stayed here for 3 days on our honeymoon in June of 2016. It was a great experience. The thing you notice throughout your stay is how helpful the staff is. They were so genuine and want you to have a great time. Gianluca and the rest of the front desk were always willing to offer us some advice on things to do in Sorrento. The breakfast was outstanding!!! A great array of fresh vegetables and fruit, meats and bread and pastries and the best espresso you could ask for. This was such a re... Read more

My wife Roseann and I had a wonderful week in Sorrento staying at the Hotel Belair. The room had a breathtaking view over the Bay of Naples and Sorrento. The accommodation and food is first class but it is the staff who make it operate so well. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everyone including reception, porter, restaurant, bar, pool bar staff and chambermaids played their part. The hotel location provides stunning views and is located close to the town and departure points for ... Read more

What a wonderful welcome we received on arrival like family. The hotel is small and very friendly and the staff make sure you have everything you need to make your holiday successful. Breakfast is taken overlooking stunning views of the Bay of Naples and each room has a similar view. A 5 minute stroll down the hill takes you into the many lanes that have an array of colourful shops and restaurants and of course gelato! A great place to recharge the batteries! Thank you to everyone at the Belair ... Read more

Couldn't have been a better hotel to stay in..... In Sorrento. We would love to return! We enjoyed the restaurant, and their head waiter Michele so much, that we had dinner there two of three nights in Sorrento. The food was superb at both breakfast and dinner. Romantic location where you can dine on a terrace overlooking the sea. Magnificent! Nancy and Vince, Boston, Ma, USA

All rooms have a fantastic view over bay of Naples including Sorrento harbours and mount Vesuvius. Rooms clean and serviced daily. Staff were very polite and friendly. Air conditioning and wifi were good. Ok, a few of negatives...location is a bit of a hike up hill from town with very narrow footpaths sometimes forcing you on to the road with and mad drivers. No tea/coffee making facilities in room but an expensive mini bar/fridge. Breakfast was limited variety and any tea/coffee and any hot foo... Read more

We have just returned from our Italy honeymoon and can heartily recommend this hotel. It is just up the hill from the town centre, a very easy 10 minute stroll into town and really not too much of a pull up hill back. It is beautifully Italian, with lovely antiques dotted around. The pool has views to die for over the bay of Naples and the staff are extremely obliging. Stefano at the pool and Rossaro at the main bar deserve a particular mention being friendly, attentive and helpful. Can't wait ... Read more

A fantastic spot 10 minutes or so walk outside the town of Sorrento on the side of the cliffs. We didn't eat in the hotel except for breakfast (which was of a good quality), but the rooms we lovely, the pool area stunning and the staff very friendly.

I stayed in this Hotel 7 years ago and it was a great experience and I rated it very good in all respects. However on this occasion we visited the Hotel with family and our new grandson and our experience was not good regarding the evening meal. The choice and quality was consistently poor throughout the week and it was the topic of conversation with many other guests who had also stayed in the past, some of them having made many visits. Breakfast was very good and lunch which came from a separa... Read more

As we were due to arrive late into Naples International Airport we had asked the hotel to organise a taxi. The delay out of Bristol made us doubt that someone would be there but relived to say our surname was boldly displayed as we came through arrivals. An hour & 20 minutes later we arrived at the hotel. It was midnight and the bar was closed but the guy on reception still offered us a welcome drink (which we declined due to the hour but it was a nice offer). He took our cases and led us int... Just returned from a week staying at the Belair. Instantly fell in love with the old world charm of this hotel, and the amazing views of the bay of Naples. Travelled as a group of 8, and all the rooms were very comfortable, clean and each had a balcony with a sea view, although room 113 was a little small for two adults with two suitcases. The food was very good, varied and even with two gluten intolerant members of the party, and one fussy child, we never struggled to find something. What re... Read more

Just returned from the Hotel Belair and quite simply can't fault the place. We stayed on a half board basis for a week and our every need was catered for. As someone that likes to explore different countries and resorts this is one of the very few places that I would consider visiting again.

We came in July as a group of 6, hotel and staff have been reall lovely, very welcoming and fab views, we had a junior suite which was nice, clean and the maid was very friendly, we were half board but found the drinks expensive even paying for water, so I'd keep check on it. The food however has been nice, a lot of people comment on just getting main without any vegs etc, but you can always get some of the hors de veurs to add if needed. And they always happy to accommodate if something not to ... Read more

We checked into the hotel and immediately felt at home. The room is spacious and air conditioned. There is a beautiful view from a balcony with patio chairs. The hotel is very clean and the decor is a mixture of antique and new. If you have a car, there is a large parking lot that is rarely full.

An excellent property with spectacular views of the bay. Pleasant staff and easy (and free) parking which is not always possible to find. Food in the restaurant was good, but the setting is worth dining even if the food was not so good. The pool area was also very nice and well maintained.

Once again the hotel was just great. All the staff are a credit to Mariella, they could not be more efficient or helpful. Monica on reception is charming and so helpful. The 'Double Act' Gianluca and Francesco are really , really good, and so much fun. Rossano in the bar is delightful, as are Michele and his restaurant staff. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. If you have a problem with the meal, they will happily change it and get you anything you want, you only have to ask, I have a... Read more

Stayed with a friend for 3 nights the first week in July. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed as you would be if you were staying in someone's home. The staff is friendly, warm and accommodating. The best part of the hotel is that every room has a balcony that you can sit on with views of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius. We stayed in room 104 which was extremely spacious for European standards. The room had a separate sitting area. The only slight annoyance was being able to hear the cha... Read more
