Just returned from a fabulous holiday in Sorrento. We were extremely pleased with Hotel Conca Park, the position was great as it only took about 10 minutes to get to the centre of town and the train and bus station.Set back from the main road it provided a quiet little haven, the grounds are well kept and there are lovely areas to sit. Our room had a fantastic view of Mount Vesuvius. The staff were all very helpful and extremely friendly, we would like to say a special thank you to Giuseppe as ... Read more

My daughter and I stayed here about 3 weeks ago and had a lovely time. The meals were really nice and the staff in dining room were excellent especially Franco. Didn't have much to do with reception but weren't given much information on arriving. Well I think first impressions are a must! The hotel is in a good location for everything. Our room was facing the cliffs which was a bit disappointing hence the four stars otherwise it would have been five. As we had a late flight home you coul... Read more

Beautiful hotel all round. Just returned from a week on May 23rd with my son and parents and was very sad to have to leave Hotel Conca Park. All staff very helpful and friendly and can I say a big hello to Francesco the waiter. The hotel is just a short walk into the town and there is a buggy which brings you back up the beautiful tunnel if your tired after a day trip out. Our room looked out to the pool and the views were breath taking with Mount Vesuvius in sight. Rooms were very clean and... Read more

We stayed in the Conca Park Hotel for one week in the May half term. The hotel was nice but had a few niggles. I'll start with the good points. The location is good at the end of the main strip of shops and restaurants and is a good base to holiday out from for the Sorrento centre. The staff are all friendly and always accommodating. The room was big and adequate for 2 adults and 1 8 year old to stay in comfortably. The lunch cafe had some nice food and it was reasonably priced. The few n... Read more

Stayed at this hotel as part of a Globus tour to Southern Italy and Sicily. It is a kovely hotel, with a great pool (long enough to swim a lap), lovely, relaxing lounge area in the lobby, outdoor restuarant with a beautiful view of Sorrento's harbor. We ordered a drink in the lounge area and were told by the bartender that the bill must be put on our room charge. Not sure if that's hotel policy, but a minor irritant because we wanted no additional charges on our room. Our room was clean, qu... Read more

This Hotel is perfectly situated, 10 mins to train station, 5 mins to main street. The staff are very friendly, helpfull, curtious and very smart at all times. The Hotel is very clean and well maintained. The room was a good size and bathroom was immaculate. The food was a bit repetative but plenty of it. Beautifulnpool area, a pleasure to sunbathe there. The only downside is the constant barking of a dog which belonged to a local opposite the Hotel

We stayed here in August 2013 as a family of 4 (my parents, both in their 60's, myself and my sister - both then in our late 20's). We all absolutely fell in love with this part of the world - the Amalfie coast is breathtakingly stunning and Sorrento is an excellent hub from which to explore all that the region has to offer. Hotel Conca Park is charming. The first interesting thing that you'll see upon arrival is that the entrance to the hotel is via a very long, cool, marble-clad tunnel. It's ... Read more

Lovely hotel with a lot of public space (numerous patios, bar, spacious lobby). It was nice to be with others but also offered the opportunity for private time in a secluded spot. We try never to eat in a hotel but were so tired one night that there was no other option. There was a lovely buffet but we wanted wine and pasta. It was delicious and the service was outstanding. The waiter even invited us to help ourselves to the desert buffet. Dinner for two with wine was 42 euro.

Our room was on the fourth floor and over looked the garden and the hills. I have heard that the... Read more

we went with tompsons and chose conca park hotel, it was excellent, staff really helpful, english speaking better than my italian, good choices of food, the lounge barman, 2 head restaurant men and Salvatore from the kitchen come in for exceptional praise for their efforts and attention to detail. a fantastic location easily walk-able yet secluded and a quirky entrance, nothing but praise for the hotel and tompsons.

We booked this hotel mainly due to its location, on the edge of the town centre but far enough out to be quiet. The hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The staff are excellent and appear to be genuinely happy about their work. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the fact that they have chilled water coolers available free to use for guests is a bonus. Meals are fantastic, great choice excellent quality and great variety. The grounds are excellent and well tended this is definitely... Read more

We have just returned from a fantastic visit to this hotel. The restaurant food was great both at breakfast and evening meal, it was also fantastic that we were given an tour of the gardens where they grow some of the veg e.g. tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, pumpkins etc. No air miles, what a refreshing change. The selections on the buffets were great and the staff very welcoming and pleasant. There were booked half board, but they were very accommodating when we asked for a packed lunch ra... Read more

I stayed here for a week with my daughter... our room was 407. We paid extra for a balcony and the view we got was a metal staircase and a rock face immediately outside, and no sun on it at any time.... not really what we had in mind so we didn't bother with it but hey ho, can't have it all. However for a 4* hotel the bedroom was very basic, no luxuries or nice touches... I would at least have expected tea and coffee making facilities but there weren't any. This is the first 4* hotel or in fact ... Read more

This was a very clean and comfort able hotel that suited our needs perfectly. Staff are friendly, food is good and it is an easy walk to the middle of Sorrento. If you choose not to venture out there is a pool and other facilities. Whilst only some rooms have a sea view, you do get stunning views of the mountains and mount Vesuvius from the restaurant.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was in an excellent location with good common spaces, friendly staff and car parking. It provided a good base for visiting archaeological sites and other cities. The rooms were tiny and the wifi was shaky, but the staff were excellent and the pool and grounds were well maintained. I would recommend it to families and couples alike.

Returned on Monday night from a fantastic 10 day stay at this hotel with my friend. The hotel is beautiful & all the staff so friendly & attentive from Franco in the restaurant who was fantastic with my friend Sue who has a severe nut allergy & kept her informed at every meal what choice of food she had to Jack in the pool bar who made our 'special coffee' & Luigi & Marriano who looked after us in the lounge bar with our limoncello & prosecco cocktails. The rooms were spacious & spotless & clean... Read more

This is a really good standard hotel with excellent food, lovely gardens and courtyard to sit around, great pool area and wonderful views overlooking the Bay of Naples. We were 5 mins walk to the centre of Sorrento old town which has cobbled streets and wonderful places to eat and drink. The hotel is eco aware and has free filtered water available and fresh veg from the owners garden next door. But if you don't book a garden view or sea view room you will get a balcony facing the rocks and littl... Read more

The Conca Park Hotel lies just ten minutes from the centre of Sorrrento , ideally placed . The main entrance is through an uphill tunnel lined with shop windows all the way to reception . If you don't fancy walking there is a buggy to take you there . Make sure you get a room with a sea view otherwise you have a cliff a few feet from your window . Not all sea views have balconies , these come at an additional cost ,50‚?¨ a night . If you come with Thompson they have an excellent rep. Who does a ... Read more

Visited Sorrento for a week, stayed at the Conca Park, the hotel was excellent. A tunnel joins the reception area to the road, it is an incline going up but if you are tired a buggy will take you either way. There is another road into the town down by the side of the swimming pool. The staff were all very friendly & helpful, Guiseppe in the restaurant was very good & a man behind the serving counter in the evening, whose name i have forgotten, always remembered that i am vegetarian, amazing consid... We stayed here for a week with Thomson, having looked at several reviews on TA. Not wishing to repeat many previous posts we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent in all areas, especially Franco and his team in the dining room. We never found a mealtime when we didn't really enjoy the wide range of food on offer. The pool is large and pretty cold, not sure why. Location is convenient for the main tourist areas and getting to local public transport. We definitely would recommend.

We went for 2 weeks in September, the hotel was lovely, the food was beautiful and the staff made us feel like family. We had champagne on arrival, the cases were taken to our rooms for us, the view over the bay of Naples and Vesuvius was perfect and it was very well situated for evening walks exploring the old streets of Sorrento. We couldn't have asked for more.

Enjoyed our stay , the bedrooms are quite plain but very fit for purpose. The common rooms are nicely decorated and the restaurant is fine although can have some unusual dishes. Fairly certain the owner dines there most evenings. Staff are very helpful and and we found the location to be perfect , near to the center but not too near. The only issue we found is that in September the sun is lost from the pool area from about 4.30 onward's ,apart from the far right corner.

The Conca Park Hotel was fabulous. The staff are so attentive and nice....nothing is a problem. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk in either direction into town. We had a sea view room. Quite basic but everything u need. We didn't ask for a balcony as some of them are located without a view...take care when thinking what you really want or need. The food is really good. It's nice to experience how the Italians eat....we don't look for British food....can do plenty of that at home...w... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for a week in September. We arrived late at night, our cases were taken to our room for us and a small buffet had been laid on which was very thoughtful. We had a sea view room overlooking Vesuvius, the scenery was absolutely amazing!! Would totally recommend anyone to pay extra for a sea view room as this view made our holiday all the more special! The food in the hotel was delicious and we could always find something we liked every night. We liked it that the vegetable... Read more
