Mew stayed for 4 days in late Sept/early Oct. The hotel is essentially a boutique type establishment, with only 14 bedrooms. The facilities are excellent, rooms are compact but more than adequate. Beds are very comfortable. Some of the rooms have balconies. The choice at breakfast is excellent. The scrambled egg & bacon is to die for! The hotel is a family run establishment & the standard of attention is exceptional. We will be back.

This is a gem of a hotel. A small family run concern. The family could not have been any more helpful with everything from places to visit restaurants, bus and ferry services. The one thing they could not control was the weather!!! The rooms each have a small balcony and the shower is very good.. Good food and catered well for our coeliac condition. They kept giving us different GF treats every morning. Everything about this hotel is good.

This was the very best family run hotel I've ever stayed at, and it's in my top ten stays (and I travel a lot). It was also an excellent value. Stay here without hesitation, you won't regret it. The family is sweet, very professional, and very friendly. They speak french, German, and English as well as Italian. They know so much about the area and have a lot to offer for ideas on how to spend your time. Get a room on the third floor, room 302 had panoramic views of the peninsula, lak... Read more

Patricia, Laura and Diego could not be more helpful and as owners invest all their efforts in making your stay enjoyable. Unless you are a motoring fan then avoid certain days in mid may when the Mille Miglia arrives. Hotel close enough to Sirmione without the higher cost and close enough to autostrada to get to rest of Lake Garda and the nearby town of Desenzano which wrongly gets overlooked. If you want to eat whilst watching English soccer then the "Eurobar" is nearby. You might consider the ... Read more

Can't imagine visiting Italy without coming to say hello to the best welcoming Villa Rosa family in magical Sirmione! My family spent 4 lovely days at the hotel enjoying great hosting & interesting conversations about Sirmione and the Italian culture. Great location, fantastic people and by far their recommendations made our trip unforgetable! Coming back for sure!!!

We love everything about the Villa Rosa and highly recommend it. Everything was perfect about our stay and we had a really wonderful time. We think the Villa Rosa offers the best breakfasts we've ever had from any hotel we've stayed in and if you like Ice Cream there is also a very good shop nearby that makes fresh batches each day.

The Villa Rosa is an excellent family run hotel. The owners could not have been more helpful, even having a scooter delivered and picked up from the hotel! Located in Columbare but only a 1Euro bus ride to old Sirmione from a nearby bus stop. Rooms were good and cleaned every day. Breakfasts were good with a varied selection to suit all tastes. We would thoroughly recommended this hotel. 5 star service - thanks to all the staff at Villa a Rosa.

The hotel Villa Rosa and it's ameneties are not fancy, but yet it is a top recommended hotel to stay: - the hotel is located perfectly - In Sirmione.Far enough from the jam of the old city but yet close enough. The bus to the old city and shops are around the hotel. - The hospitality of the most lovely people - Laura, Patrizia and Diego - is something that no words can explain. You just should experience it. - The parking with Diego's service that parks every night the car with it's face to the... Read more

The hotel is located at the southern part of the town but was easily reached by local bus services. We stayed in a room with a balcony view across the lake which was magnificent. It was peaceful and although on a main road we weren't disturbed by traffic at night. The room was clean and furnished to a good standard. Air conditioning was a bonus as it's was very hot at night. The area is close to bus routes to Verona and Venice. The owner and staff were very friendly, exceptionally helpful with l... Read more

We stayed 5 nights at villa Rosa. To put it simply -it was great. We had a comfortable, lovely room with a view of the peninsula. The room was not fancy but it was of good size was very clean, quite with comfortable beds and amenities. Breakfast was amazing. There was a wide selection of food, all was fresh and so tasty. The owners (Laura, Patrizia and Diego) are cordial, hospitable, welcoming, helpful, with great knowledge of the whole area which they are happy to share with their guests. T... Read more
