The hotel had a great location, nice rooms and friendly staff (although the receptionist did not speak English) for a decent price. We stayed here one night before we took the ferry to Bonefacio.. Perfect hotel for a night or two. I would stay here again.

Six of us, three couples, stayed two night is this hotel and it was a memorable experience for all the right reasons. The brothers who run the hotel and very welcoming and could not be more helpful. No request was too much for them. Their recommendations for restaurants are well worth following. The rooms are clean and comfortable and a pre-dinner drink in the bar or outside is a relaxing and pleasurable experience. All in all, I strongly recommend this well-located and comfortable hotel which i... Read more

Came for one night and decided to make this my base in Sardinia for a week. Owner/manager did not have "no" in his vocabulary. Well placed, quiet yet close to everything. Great beach 15 minutes walk away. I have included panoramic picture. Room had everything we needed. Best wifi since leaving home 5 weeks ago. Best hotel in last five weeks.

I am often in Santa Teresa di Gallura for work or vacations. Since years hotel Marinaro has been my buen retiro there. Antonio and Nicola, the two brothers who own the hotel, are always serviceable and welcoming, making you feel home. All the contrary to the usual anonymity of hotels. The hotel is very well located in a calm pedestrian street a few blocks from the city centre, away from the bustle of the central area in high season. The rooms are spotless and cleaned every day. Service is impecc... Read more

Clean, great location in a charming..slightly out of the way town..which for me is plus. First time to Sardinia and ,of course, to this seaport town. Sardinia is an old stomping ground for European tourists (... somewhat overlooked by North/South Americans...) yet Santa Teresa de Gallura, where this hotel is located, appears to be relatively new on the island's tourist map compared to the near-by Madalena Archipelago and Costa Smeralda. One can use any the three as a base to explore the oth... Read more

The restaurant was literally reopening the evening we arrived. So the kinks were still being ironed. But fabulous location. Lovely quiet square, friendly host. I'm hoping next June there will be breakfast selection of pastries and juices to match the coffee. I'm sure this place is the place to watch. If you visit try and keep the noise down people do actually live in the houses surrounding the square.

We were only in Santa Teresa Gallura one night in order to take the ferry to Bonifacio, Corsica. The hotel was in the perfect spot: 5 minutes from where we needed to return our rental car and an easy 15 minute walk with luggage to the ferry. Plus we had a wonderful dinner at the adjoining Barabattula Trattoria. Only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beach and city!

Good and spotlessly clean hotel with excellent location in the old town, very close to the city center, restaurants and bars, as well as to rena bianca beach. Also, very close to the bus station with good connections to Olbia and Alghero airports and other beaches in Santa Teresa di Gallura. You can take a short stroll to the port from the hotel, where ferries to Bonifacio in Corsica are available several times a day. Very good value for money. Staff at the hotel and at the Trattoria Barabatula ... Read more

This is a lovely hotel, well placed to enjoy Santa Teresa and on a quiet cul-de-sac. The room was clean and reasonably specious. Breakfast was good though not exceptional. The staff were a delight. There is a nice bar and an attached trattoria with excellent food and a good menu. We would have been happy to have stayed longer at The Marinaro. We were charmed by it.
