Spotless clean Quiet Good selection at breakfast ; great scrambled egg. 12 night local tax per couple Very close to train station Definitely use again Pleasant staff Loads and loads of restaurants nearby We walked every where and didn't find that an issue. If you use the train to get back to the airport REMEMBER to validate your ticket before you board the train .........read on tripadvisor about fines if not done ....

Stayed there for two nights on 30th April - 1st May (during long weekend), booked this hotel via expedia.com. Room was ready on arrival, found to be clean, tidy and adequate for a couple. Nice bathroom with heavy duty shower. Room has a safe box/locker as well fitted within the cupboard which was handy to store valuables (passports, banks cards and some extra cash) with simple and easy to use instructions. Just insert any four numbers and then press # e.g. ( 0000# ), to be use both to open and c... Read more

Perfect location, approx 100 metres from the Termini Station (Take the side exit and head straight over the busy road, down three blocks) and easily noticeable on the street corner. Friendly helpful staff, and big thanks for our room allocations as per our email request. Rooms are not large, but adequate city centre size and good size balcony on the top floor. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities, which are missing. Good quality toiletries in the room and a decent hairdryer ... Read more

Hotel has a great location near Termini station. Stuff was nice and helpful. Breakfast okay. Room quite but small. Rooms not as nice as in the pictures. Overall, it is a good hotel. However, I expected a bigger and newer room.

We stayed for a week and got a deluxe room for the standard price. The room was great! The breakfast was above average in European standard but nothing special. Yacuzzi on the roof was really nice (though all the streamers weren't operational) and it felt like a private one because we were the only ones using it. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I was staying with my husband and teenage daughter. Room was big enough for our short stay. Breakfast was really nice. Great variety and nothing was allowed to run out. Even if they were nearly finished serving. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. We had no problem with the WiFi. The hotel is in a good location about 4 blocks from the main train station. Close to bus roots and tram service. Hop on hop off buses all leave from near the station. We tried a few of the local restauran... Read more

I stayed in this hotel from 11 June for 3 days. and Guess What - My mobile phone got stolen from the room !!! The day we checked out soon after breakfast, we came down by lift, and my daughter rushed back up realizing she had left the phone. It was just in 2-3 minutes, and she found the room open, an old lady - housekeeping was inside, and there was No Phone !! I informed the hotel immediately, but No Help. The hotel also has big time language issues, as my husband called on the land line to spe... Read more

This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are small but clean and served the purpose of our stay, i.e. sleep, bath, change clothes. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel but when we were there the treats and wine in the lounge during HH was a nice touch. The people were amazing...polite, helpful and very accommodating to our group. Being from the US only a couple of us were fluent in Italian - out of a group of nine. They were patient and resourceful when arranging our tour pick-up for Pompei/... Read more

This is really a boutique hotel tucked away about 2min walk from the central rail terminal. I'll start with some travel tips... The easiest (not the cheapest) way to the city from the airport is by train and the tickets can be purchase from the machines at the entrance to the station. Be aware, there are 1st & 2nd class options but are not what you would expect in the UK. 1st class is the direct train from the airport to the city, no stops, and takes about 25-30mins. 2nd class is many stops,... Great hotel for a short break, it's clean and comfy. Breakfast is a large selection and all very nice. The roof top jacuzzi is lovely but a little warm. Hotel bar is a very good price considering how expensive the rest of the city is. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also a short walk from the station terminal there are lots of cafe and restaurant close by too and a taxi to the main spots is about 10 Euros. Highly recommend open bus tour and pre booking guided tours ... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel Venetia Palace when my friend and I went to Rome. The very first impression of this hotel was that staff were cold and unfriendly, especially the guy with grey hair. When we walked into the lobby, he didnâ??t even say anything until we broke the ice. Even though the rooms were very nice, we didnâ??t feel very welcome here like other places we stayed in Spain. The worst experience was that the internet in this hotel was a real problem. It kept disconnecting the first nigh... Read more

The jacuzzi was broken and the breakfast was good but not amazing like in other hotels I have been in Italy. It is a new hotel, the door for the toilet was made of glass which was quite weird. The location was great, 5 min walking from Termini station.

Good thing we stayed just got 1 night, would have moved otherwise. To summarize the issues: - bathroom was gross, filled with mildew; - shower floor was gross enough that we wore flip flops to go in; - white toilet cover used to be white, it's currently brown/ yellow; - cannot control your own room temperature; - the pillows were smelly and very flat; and - the bed was covered in the most uncomfortable thick plastic lining that created awful lumps. The positives: - good location, less than 8... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days while we were in Rome. There are a couple of good things about this place and a few bad things. Good: Location - although it's not near any of the tourist sites it's only a few blocks from termini station. From here you can take a bus / train to pretty much all tourist sites. Also many bus lines coverage on termini on the after hours bus lines so you can get back home easily. Good restaurants in the area - we ate at some really good restaurants within a co... Read more

This hotel was amazing. Super clean, excellent breakfast, and the most helpful staff. They will help you with anything you need. I broke a tooth and they went out of their way to find me a dentist close by the hotel. This hotel is located very close to Roma Termini train, subway (Metro), and Buses. You can get around very easy from the hotel.. There are also good restaurants and Gelaterias nearby. I am going back next year and plan on staying there again. Also, please note that everything... We were overwhelmed with how many hotels there are to chose from in Rome and didn't know where to start but after some research we decided in order to get the best touring location of Rome it was best to stay near the railway station. Ie Termini. Although there are nicer areas to stay in Rome, if you are there to get out and about and explore the whole of Rome then this really is perfect. The hotel was lovely, so clean and well organised and perfect for a few nights stay. The receptionists we... Read more

I stayed in the hotel for three nights with my three children. We had a room with a double and trundle bed added. Despite this, there was plenty of room. The décor was very modern, wooden floors, white bedding and white roman blinds. With wooden blinds and good air con - pretty critical in August. The bathroom definitely had the widest range of toiletries I've ever seen, including mouthwash and make up removal kits. The only slight niggle was the bath which had a Jacuzzi feature. But due... The hotel is very well located near the Termini Station but in a side street away from the noises of the Main Street. The reception is working 24/7 and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very very tight, with limited spaces for breakfast. Very nice restaurants in the neighborhood around the corner, they serve perfect Italian dishes with very nice wine. The rooms are reasonably capacious with nice comfortable furnishing.

This hotel was modern and very comfortable with extras. It was close to the train station, hop on hop off bus stop and the centre of Rome. There were many restaurants near the hotel and after a long day one can relax in the sauna, Turkish bath and finish off in the roof top sauna. Staff are attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed this hotel and location.
