Stayed 1 night in May. Stayed several nights in 2015. The location is ideal for touring with key attractions like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon all within walking distance, although Via Condotti is pretty noisy until late into the evening. The fit out of the rooms is probably not quite 5 star standard but the staff is friendly and efficient. We were able to access our room at 10.30am. Breakfast was on the rooftop terrace and the food and drink selection there was very good.... Read more

We stayed 4 nights in Rome at this hotel and the best part about it is the location! It was super safe, the service was impeccable - the staff was beyond hospitable, and the rooftop patio is lovely! You will receive attention that you my not be able to get in big hotels. It's one of my favourite hotels!

We stayed for three nights last week - Monday to Thursday. This is a very special hotel, the staff were exceptional, the breakfasts and afternoon tea on the terrace were delicious, the room (211) was lovely and the location was perfect. Pretty much all the many, many wonderful sites of Rome are walkable from the hotel. We will definitely visit Rome again and will stay here for sure.

We loved this charming hotel. First of all, the staff is very accomodating, friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooftop lounge is a little oasis in the hustling city of Rome. You can have breakfast there and from 5-8pm I would highly recomend having an apertivo or prosecco there before dinner plans. The location is amazing...you can walk to just about anywhere. Near to lots of great restaurants and shops. We loved our 5 night stay and we hope to be back soon. I give The Inn at t... Read more

The location was excellent and regardless where you plan to spend your time, it's very conveniently located. My husband and I booked a one night stay in the studio apartment prior to embarking on a cruise. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and immediately felt like we were home! The location could not be more perfect, right next to the newly restored Spanish steps, near the very center of Rome. Would most definitely stay here again and hopefully for a longer span of days!

We recently stayed at this hotel for two days after a Mediterranean cruise. This hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. We were very lucky enough to have been upgraded to the penthouse with our own private rooftop patio which overlooked Via Condetti ave. Our rooms overlooked the Spanish Steps and the busy plaza. The stay at this hotel put a perfect end to a perfect vacation. The icing on the cake!

We stayed at the property on Via Della Croce, 2. It was great! Centrally located and the roof-top terrace gives you a spectacular and 360-degree view of the city. The elevator is a bit on the small side and of the old-world style -- it might make you uncomfortable the first times you use it if you are not familiar, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. The staff was great and very helpful -- Cristin, Max, Mike, Steven, Andrea, Kathy, Marco, etc. Thank you so much!

We loved the location of this hotel. It was central to most of the sites and great restaurants nearby. The hotel has an old world feel and the staff was somewhat helpful. I say somewhat because we found there to be a language barrier. They did their best to be helpful, and I think it's a bit arrogant to expect others to be fluent in our language in their country. We spent 3 nights at the Spanish Steps in early August. What a wonderful start to our holiday! Our spacious corner suite was on 5th floor of a building opposite the Spanish Steps and three doors along from the main hotel building. Our spacious corner suite had fabulous views of the Spanish Steps from the bedroom windows and balcony. We shared a butler & maid with the 3 other suites at this location and our breakfasts were served there on the terrace. Afternoon tea, light snacks and evening drink... Read more

We stayed in the main building on floor 4. We had no view from our room at all but of course we appreciate that not every single room can have an amazing view. The decor was a little tired and dated and we couldn't even open the draws in the chest of drawers. The bathroom I think was the worst part. The sink didn't drain and despite telling the reception staff on the 1st evening it wasn't fixed. We ended up having to wash our hands in the bath each time. There was a cheap plastic stool in ... Perfect location to walk and sightsee, shop and eat in the best areas. Felt like a luxe apartment, with our own keyed entry. We were there for five days in September, 2016. Couldn't have been better. Location, charm, impeccable service. The hotel is spread over a few buildings. I can only speak to our room, which was a fifth floor suite at the bottom of, and overlooking, the Spanish steps. Our friends stayed at the Hasslar (?) at the top of the Steps. That is a top notch hotel, of course, but I would take the old world charm and luxury of our place anytime. The Steps we're being renovated while we were there. Weird t... Read more

My wife and I have just finished a 4 night stay at the Inn. It is not a traditional hotel as such but has more of a 'boutique' feel about it. The main reception area is located down a very smart street festooned with luxury brands ranging from Bvlgari, through Tiffany & Co, Gucci, Louis Vuitton et al. Upon arrival we were greeted in the small reception area at the back of the hotel, check in was polite and efficient and we were delighted to be told we had been (very generously) upgraded to the ... This has to be one of the hidden gems in Rome, the location at 50 yards from the Spanish Steps is just about perfect and despite it being in the Roman equivalent of Londons Mayfair or Bond Street, the prices are reasonable. Staff are very friendly and keen to help with suggestions for tours or restaurants, the rooms are quirky and the bed absolutely huge. Location is everything, especially in a city the size of Rome. This hotel was about 50 yards from the Spanish Steps on the Condotti, which is one of highest end streets in Rome. More important, it was about 100 yards to the Metro which permitted us to travel using the subway throughout most of Rome. The staff was friendly and efficient. We chose the Inn at the Spanish steps for our visit to Rome because it belongs to the SLH group and location was right on the Spanish steps.
