I first discovered the Inn At The Roman Forum when I went on a trip with my family back in 2009. Ever since then, this is my hotel of choice in Rome. Back in 2012, 2013, and 2015 I was fortunate enough to stay here with my then fiance and now wife. We just spent 3 nights back at The Inn At The Roman Forum, and brought my in laws along. They stayed in the studio suite next to the hotel. It was decorated perfectly, and they were extremely comfortable. My wife and I stayed in a superior suite on th... Read more

Everything we wanted to see was easily within 30 min walking distance. There was a complimentary breakfast and dinner with the stay and the food was lovely. They offered to book and dinning experiences or tours we were interested in and before our arrival they set us up with a car service from the airport. I would r... Read more

We stayed here in early May & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. What makes this hotel exceptional is not only the quality of the accommodation, food, location & service but the genuine warmth & friendliness of the staff. Anna and her homemade cakes, as well as Noemi on the front desk who helped with airport transfers and dinner reservations were stand out stars. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Rome.

We visited Rome for three nights in March 2016 to celebrate my wife's birthday. I picked this hotel due to its proximity to the ancient sites (it's a ten minute walk to the Colosseum, less to the Forum; 10-15 minutes to the Metro and restaurants within 2 minutes walk if you don't want to go far). Having said this, the hotel is on a very quite side street - even the drivers arranged by the hotel struggled to find it. Pre-arrival information from the hotel was excellent, and responses to emails ... Read more

A lovely small hotel, with friendly and excellent service and the most perfect location for the sight-seer. Bang in the middle of some seriously old buildings (Trajan's Forum I think it is), this hotel is lovely. We only ate breakfast there, but that was excellent, up on the 4th floor terrace with great service and some friendly sparrows...We were 'upgraded' to a suite in the annexe which was a great room.

We had to select a hotel in Rome for a week at the last minute after a bad Airbnb experience. Our time at the Inn at the Roman Forum helped chase away the bad memories! The location, just a few minutes walk from the Forum, the Colosseum, and the magnificent views from Altare della Patria was incredibly convenient, albeit a bit challenging for taxis to find on such a tiny street. Special shout outs to Noemi, Zizi, Barbara, Valentina, Apollo and Bien, who all truly went out of their way to try and... Read more

We stayed in a room at the adjacent building, which was a fabulous room, but when we wanted to extend our stay it wasn't available. They then moved us to the top floor garden suite, I believe it was one of the nicest rooms in the hotel. I was absolutely amazed when I walked in the door. The room was stunning and spacious. My wife and I truely felt like king and queen. Also, the bed was soo big--bigger than a king size bed. What's better than a king? A pope I guess, I'd call it a pope size ... Read more

As the name suggests, it is close to the Forum - literally as you exit you are there - overlooking the fire-walls built 2000 years ago. Actually you dont need to exit the Inn at all as "the crypt" inside behind the reception brings you back in time immediately. And even though it is right in the center of the city, it is quiet - not a sound inside the building from the city.... unless of course you are sitting at the roof terrasse and listens to the sound of city while looking at the Forum and t... I've just returned from my latest stay with a companion, at The Inn At The Roman Forum, and the more I visit The Inn, the more I love it ! So, do you like the idea of staying in an antique Roman town house, situated in a charming quiet cobbled street in the uber-fashionable Monti region of Rome, within walking distance of the major historical sites of the city centre, being one of a small number of guests all superbly catered for by a splendid and caring hospitality team? The Inn at the Roman Forum is hidden on a small side street in Rome away from all the hustle and bustle of busy Rome. Once you arrive, you won't want to leave!! This small hotel built on top of ancient ruins is a luxurious retreat. You can enjoy an afternoon cocktail down in the ruins or happy hour upstairs on the terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are beautiful. Highly recommend!!

Perfect location in the centre of historic Rome but in a quiet backstreet. I took my husband away for his 30th birthday and this hotel had the perfect blend of feeling attended to without it being false. Room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and luxuriously cool compared with the heat of Rome. Staff were seemingly interested, friendly and happy to help with advice when we asked stupid questions. Areas of the hotel such as the crypt and roof terrace were superb when we wanted to relax. We loved ... Read more

I'm a fussy so and so really but even I found it hard to fault TIATRF when we visited with friends for a weekend in Rome. It's in a great location, particularly convenient for the Forum and Colosseum but also within easy walking distance of most attractions. The team at the hotel couldn't do enough for us, from sorting out restaurant reservations in advance, to welcome drinks in the crypt (not quite as weird as it sounds), to helping us resolve problems with Colosseum tickets. Beautiful boutique hotel, tucked down a side street, literally five mins from the coliseum - beautifully decorated, extremely helpful front of house, polite waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble. The roof top bar and garden/breakfast room intimate and tasteful. Lovely weekend visit.

lovely people, beautiful rooms - funky in a very elegant way; you can have a glass of wine actually IN the Roman ruins. The staff, bellmen, and the breakfast team were without exception professional and eager to assist with any request. It is on a small street and as you might guess - doesnt get any more centrally located for the sites, but is surprisingly quiet and romantic.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Inn at the Roman Forum at the end of our 2 week vacation. Perfect little hotel near the Forum and Colosseum. Beautifully appointed and excellent service made this a highlight of our trip. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom larger than normal - only problem was the amount of water that accumulated outside the tub during a shower. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly diverse. My husband and I kicked off our Italian adventure with our stay at The Inn at the Roman Forum. The hotel was definitely a great choice - clean and comfortable rooms, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The hotel's location is also very convenient - we walked everywhere! And there are lots of great little restaurants right in the neighborhood. Oh, and be sure to enjoy their delicious breakfast on the outdoor patio - a great way to start each day!

We stayed for 4 nights from Oct 12th. The hotel has a very subtle entrance, literally a brass plaque on a wall in a small street, but an amazing welcome! We were lead into the Crypt for tiramisu and prosecco whilst we were checked in. It's a early precursor for your time in Rome, with history jumping out at every corner!
