Rooms: good, Service: excellent, Breakfast: good , Garden: terrific , Hall and common space: Beautiful. I'd suggest the hotel especially to people that reach Rome by car; there is a big parking where you can leave the car and go to the centre by the hotel shuttle bus. Furthermore we stayed there at a really valuable price taking advantage of an offer.

Fantastic hotel.Great facilities within the hotel..the breakfast was ideal before a busy day of sightseeing. The decor and gardens were outstanding. Mr C , the concierge, was very helpful with getting metro tickets and recommending local restaurants. The hotel is about five minute walk to the metro, which serves all the major landmarks. Great memories made in Rome.

We arrived at the Church Palace early afternoon and were checked in very quickly. The reception staff were very good. Our room was on the second floor. At first I thought it was a bit small but got used to it. It was reasonably clean but when I dropped something that rolled under the bed, the dust under there was awful and had obviously been there a long time. The bathroom was really nice and the shower worked well. My only real gripe was the wardrobe. It consisted of a rail with shelves ... Read more

I stayed at The Church Palace hotel and was extremely disappointed! The hotel itself was Ok the furnishings and décor all very modern and well managed, pleasing to the eye. Sadly the service at this hotel was terrible at every level. It started with the Air con unit in the room not working, which was extremely loud and they couldn't fix it. They offered to move me, after great hassle and then proceeded to give me a very small bedroom with a big bathroom. The restaurant closes at 9.30 p... Read more

My room was on the second floor of the "left wing". While I did occasionally hear chairs being slid on the floor above, I experienced few of the noise problems reported in other reviews. This room was otherwise very comfortable. The breakfast selection was excellent, especially the coffee machine. The in-room wifi was reliable (didn't drop once), fast, and allowed me to connect multiple devices. I had no problems with the service. One downside was that the coat hangers were few and in poor... We thought the price was very reasonable while booking. We thought it was too good to be true upon arrival...it was! We didn't realize the room rate we got was for the not-yet-renovated section of the hotel. Our rooms were just OK, at best: the shower head was kind of dangly and the automated skylight window and air conditioning were unpredictable -- starting and stopping automatically sometimes. Also there was broken glass on the floor when we checked in that housekeeping never cleaned up ... Read more

We stayed with The Church Palace as 2 couples for 3 nights at the beginning of June 2016. We used the hotel shuttle service both from and to the airport as there was little price difference to the airport train (3 eu each way PP) but it was quicker and more personal. The Hotel Concierge Mr C was invaluable and extremely helpful in booking tickets, giving directions and recommendations on dining. Even if the building and the surrounded park are beautiful, we found the quality of service not good enough with regards to what the hotel claims. These are probably details but it significantly contributes to the experience which turns to be less positive that it should be. Our family (two adults, three children) stayed in a suite at the Church Palace for four nights. The hotel is set back from the road beyond an avenue of trees which was very pleasant and while the location is not in the centre of Rome, the nearby tube station makes getting around very convenient. The room was modern and pleasant, if a bit small. There was very little space to store clothes and so we ended up creating piles on the floor for the children. The bathroom set-up was very poor. This hotel is very impressive from the outside. It is in lovely grounds with several outside seating areas, all the public areas look great too. Our check in was a little slow. We had ordered a twin bed room but there didn't seem to be one available so they gave us a free upgrade to a junior suite which had a large double bed and a sofa bed, we were inward looking so didn't get to see the lovely grounds. We had tea and coffee in the room but I understand from fellow guests who were in regular do... Read more

We stayed here for three nights in one of the deluxe rooms. The hotel was great, and the rooms clean, tidy and spacious. The staff were pleasant, particularly the bartender who was very helpful. We used the restaurant twice, and although the menu was not extensive, what we had was enjoyable and well kept. We had a great stay and would definitely go back - perhaps for our first anniversary :)

Mr.C, his name is Sayoh, arranges a convenient sightseeing for you, you only have to ask. He is very efficient, polite and draws your attention to what is best for a visitor to Rome. He is not short of smiling, he seemingly enjoys his job. He's the right man on the right place. Apart from this service, we found that too much black in the hotel is rather depressing. Also we would have appreciated if the saff had informed their guests about the strike of public transport rather than facing that a... Read more

Beautiful hotel with lots of space , away from the street's noise. It is near to a nice park which is ideal for running or just resting. It is also 10 minutes away from the metro and with a taxi only 17 euros away from the Vatican . Good breakfast with lots of things to choose from.

Firstly this hotel has a great tree lined entrance to it and very grand from the front, the public area's are lovely too,a great service is provided by MR C who with his computer screen monitor behind him can set you up for your tours,a shuttle bus at regular times is also very good and at only 2‚?¨ each as this is one of the downfalls of the hotel being so far away from the attractions otherwise your paying at least 15‚?¨ each way which soon adds up,Breakfast was standard not bad not great,sleep... Located just outside of Rome, a little tricky to find if driving even with sat nav but once your there offers shuttle service into the city. Mr C was great at informing us about attractions, tickets and things to do in Rome. Hotel is huge and impressive from the outside, grounds are large and feel spacious which is nice after a busy day in the city. Breakfast in the morning offered a good selection and staff were very attentive. Hotel was mostly modern, some aspects renovated which were reall... Read more

Very impressive exterior and gardens. Good public spaces, church impressive and unique, bar good. Free 4g handheld mobile device in each room with maps and apps very good. Breakfast good, didn't try restaurant, but looked encouraging. Bathrooms would benefit from improvement and deliveries/waste collections in early morning were intrusive on rooms that overlooked rear. Bar tender, porter (Antonio) and one lady at reception were excellent and convivial. Others could be borderline ambivalent t... Read more

The grounds were fantastic. It was in Rome (2 blocks from the metro station), but they have a long drive and a lot of land which put them away from the city traffic. There is a park right next to the hotel (I wouldn't go to it in the dark, it's public and sketchy). When I arrived, Expedia had cancelled my room with them (it didn't show as that in my account but did in the hotel's list), the man at the desk was very helpful and re-booked me through them at the same rate I had purchased the room t... I was moved here from the Church Village, which was awful, so this indeed felt like a palace in comparison. Smart rooms and modern contemporary decor and furnishings. There are two beautiful chapels within the hotel. Very pleasant bar and a couple of restaurants. The reception staff were particularly helpful and all staff were friendly and efficient. The most beautiful, extensive grounds to walk in makes this a very special place to stay with easy access to all the sights e.g. About 6 metro step... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for three nights while in Rome with a church pilgrimage group of 26. It is very pretty on the outside and the surrounding grounds appear to be well kept. The main floor areas were well maintained. The room was just average and the food was adequate. It is a distance from many of the notable sites in Rome. The bar tender was very helpful. I was annoyed the front lobby clerks would not allow guests to use the chairs at the concierge desk while waiting to be picked up e... Read more
