Our stay was comfortable at Art hotel .the hotel provides wifi service, with great location , let your shopping much easier . The one thing was inconvenience the room was too small . One historical info that the hotel was a church at the first place.

We were a family of four - they set up the room with a queen and two single beds, which worked well. Location is great, room was very clean and modern. Staff was very helpful, getting our room set up by early afternoon so we could sleep off our jetlag.

This boutique hotel is definitely a good location. Only few minutes walk to trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon & a lot of streets to go for shopping. Iman, from the front desk was very helpful on suggesting where to go. SInce its a small hotel, service was fast. Room also was bigger than an average hotel in Europe. Its only about 1 year old so everything still looks new. Breakfast is simple and good. Good internet connection too. Would recommend this hotel and would come back again.

Great location, within walking distance of most of the main must see sights. A modern hotel opened a year ago with keen an helpful front office staff. Rooms are large, clean and most importantly for Rome, quiet.

First, the location is really good. Second, even if they drop the price to $50 per night, don't stay there. It's a very small hotel with eight rooms. We were supposed to stay for three nights. The first night, the air conditioning would not get cool enough, I called the front desk who simply said they had no other rooms and there was no one who could try to fix it til the next day. My family sweated thru the night and I slept about an hour. I booked another hotel that night and we moved to... Read more

We just stayed at the Spanish Art Hotel and were extremely happy with our overall experience. Everything from the comfortable room to the service and location of the hotel exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

I was initially booked to stay in one of the other Trevi group hotels (Cairoli), but ended up here after being informed that the bathroom in my original room was out of order. The room I had was on the top floor (I had to walk up a flight as the elevator only goes to the 4th floor) and it was small and cozy with a newly updated bathroom. The bed was suitable, but the linens were not as nice as those on the hotel's website. The staff was helpful at check-in and courteous when I saw them.

So we booked this hotel through AMEX and picked it mostly due to location. It is close to Metro, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. We booked a family room, which was to have a double bed and two singles. The room was so small that we were basically stepping over each other. If we knew this was going to be the configuration we would have gotten two rooms. The Internet worked occasionally, there was a sign warning of this at the desk. The icing on the cake was I accidentally left my wallet in the... Read more

Hotel is divided into 2 boutique hotels. We stayed in Via Dei Due Macelli. Very small, clean room with all commodities. Modern bathroom kept extremely clean. Beautiful cleaning lady did an excellent job and also an amazing cook. Breakfast - Fritatta, vegetable tart, fruit, cereals, yogurt & freshly baked cakes. Centrally located & in walking distance to all historical sights & popular shopping strip, Via Del Corso. Enjoyed Trastevere District, comes alive at night, buzzing with bars & restaur... Read more

As I stay nearly every week in a different hotel in the world I can honestly say I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The hotel is situated right behind a busy street that goes directly to Piazza Popolo. Yet the street the hotel is in is really very quit! Amazing difference with the main street and very pleasant that you don't hear anything of the noise. I picked this hotel as I wanted to stay in a 4 star hotel (according to Tripadvisor) and its modern looks. The hotelstaff greeted and help... Read more

We were only in Rome for 3 days, and wanted to visit as much as possible with taking taxis or public transit. This is why we chose the Spanish Art. The location did not disappoint. We were one minute away from the Spanish steps, boutiques on Via Condotti, cafés and restos. The Trevi fountain was a five minute walk, the Colosseum was a ten minute walk. We cabed the Vatican, which was 15 minutes away and costed very little. Spanish Art is a boutique Hotel, modern and clean. The service was awe... Read more

We stayed this week at the Spanish Art Hotel. The location was great, with many attractions within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. There is a small minibar that we utilized to keep things cold that we had purchased at a nearby supermarket. I accidentally left the safe open with my cash inside one day and was relieved to find that nothing was disturbed (although it would have been my fault). The staff was very ac... Read more

Hotel is very clean and very central. We did not stay in the main hotel but in rooms accross the road. For me the room although clean was very small. There are no tea or coffee making facilities and I did expect this in a 4 star hotel. It's not good on your holiday to have to go out to buy coffee in the morning. The breakfast is not great either. Cold egg and various cakes. There is a coffee machine but the door is kept locked until breakfast time. I would suggest either putting tea/coffee in ro... Read more

The good: Amazing location, modern design albeit small rooms The bad: Poor breakfast, relocated for one night We had a very weird stay at Spanish Art Hotel in Rome. Upon arrival we were told that we had to change hotel because of some problem in the sewer system. After working in the travelling industry for 14 years, i have heard every excuse possible and i felt that there were more to the story. The hotel offered free mini bar service and a transfer to Colosseum as a compensation. The rest of t... Read more

Usually I wait until the end of my stay to write a review, but this time I just can't wait to write this review abd worn you to stay away!! When we checked in we were told that there is a problem with water in the rooms, and that we are getting an upgrade for just 1 night to the trevi collection hotel. I didn't understand at that time how this can be an upgrade (since both are 4* hotels)... So we checked into trevi collection, unpacked our stuff in the evening and packed them back again in the m... The hotel feels more like your own small apartment than a hotel. The breakfast area is tiny but very good and lots of selection. Walking distance to everywhere. Good value for your money. Some of the clerks didnt speak english very well which was a bit of a struggle but overall it was a good experience.

The location is great. And the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. We requested a room in their main building when making the reservation and was not disappointed. I think there are only 8 rooms. Our room was quite large and very modern. Even though it is located on a major street, the room was extremely quiet. And the elevator is small and uniquely designed. Great art throughout the hotel. The breakfast had a good selection; however, the seating area is small. I was originally... Read more

My husband & I have just got back home after spending 4 nights in Rome & staying at this hotel. We can't criticise the hotel for its location, it's in a terrific position. We stayed in the new wing of the hotel which on face value looks lovely, very modern, nicely decorated & chic! Problem is, we found that nothing was quite finished properly, for example the shower door wouldn't quite shut properly resulting in water leaking out on to the floor, the toothbrush cups on the wall weren't screwed o... Theres nothing quite artsy or Spanish about this hotel. Its tiny and the rooms are small. For the price and location it is a steal. The staff was very nice. I only stayed 1 night and I was alone, had I been with my husband it would be cramped in the room I had. But for a lady traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable.

We found ourselves "upgraded" to this hotel upon arrival at Hotel Trevi Collection which is five minutes walk away. The room was clean and bright and perfectly adequate. We had a kingsize bed but we found it very hard and quite uncomfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space with free safe. Small minibar provided but no prices available. Large bathroom with good size shower which was cleaned daily with fresh towels but had to ask twice for more toilet paper! Overall the room was perfectly adequate for... Read more

+ great location + excellent wi-fi signal - The hotel is seperated in 2 diferrent buildings. The second one is across the street in the first floor of a quite old building that has no reception. If you need something during the night there is nobody there, you have to get down and cross the street to the reception of the first bulding. - Fairly poor breakfast for a 4* hotel. They even keep the cake that remains and serve it the next day. - we stayed 4 days and they didn't clean the bedro... Read more

This hotel has no right claiming 4 stars. The first thing they fail to mention on the website is how not all of the rooms are located in the main building. We were sent to a room in an old building across the street, nothing boutique about that. The walls are paper thin so don't expect to get much rest as you hear every door slam, toilet flush, and dish washing from the terrible breakfast buffet. If you don't have the breakfast included, don't waste your money on it. The same lady who just cl... Read more

I've been in this Hotel in Rome with my wife and we choose this hotel for the strategic position (5 min by walk to Trevi and to MEtro piazza Barberini) and reasonable price. With the space available (not so much), I think they did maximum what they could do. Room are a bit small but cleaned. Bathroom is ok and cleaning service also. Personnel is always available to help or clarify any issue/concern.
