Ideal location 5 minutes from Termini train station and therefore near a metro. The rooms and bathroom were spotless. Reception very friendly and helpful and a big shout out to Ruby who was so nice in reception. Breakfast was ok, you have to remember you're in the continent. Would I go back, yes. Free wifi too.

We should say up front that this is not a complaint about the hotel; we enjoyed our stay, the staff were great, and the location was very convenient. It's simply that, with a 4* rating, one might expect more from it. Location - very convenient near Termini station, close to our airport shuttle bus, and easy metro and bus links. It's on the quiet side of Termini at the end of the street, so felt peaceful Staff - friendly and considerate, from swift email contact beforehand, to a kind welcome, t... Read more

I stayed here on 8th April up until the 11th. I've never been to Rome and it was my first city break and so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I would say this hotel was better than I imagined. We flew from Gatwick to Fiumicino Airport and used the train to get to Termini from the airport (probably 35 minutes or so). The hotel was easy to find from Termini, very convinient location being only a couple of minutes walk away (made exploring Rome easy) plus many restaurants and shops (plenty of ... Read more

I cannot praise this hotel enough; this was myself and my boyfriends first trip to Rome and this hotel was an excellent choice. About a 25 minute drive from Ciampino airport, from the minute we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady who off of her own back went through a map with us and explained the best way to get around the city; she then telephoned our restaurant for us to change our booking time as our flight were delayed; she when dropped us the news that we had been upgraded to a brand ... The entrance to the hotel is beautiful and you're greeted every time you enter with a smile and a warm welcome. The staff are amazing. So polite and welcoming. The hotel located at a very good location, only about 5 min walk from Termini station. The room is small but clean. Staffs overall are friendly just the old guy who handled our check-in is a bit unfriendly. Wifi is slow. Better request for a quieter floor if possible, we didn't do that so we could hear ppl talking and laughing @ their room, it's actually annoying.

It was our first time to Rome and Italy in itself. We booked last minute and were very happy with the hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous with good local knowledge. They recommended an excellent restaurant which we went to the first night. The room was a bit small but who goes to Rome to look at a room that you spend 8hrs a day sleeping in?! Four of us, two couples, stayed at this hotel for four nights in late June. The hotel is very well situated within an eight minute walk of Termini station. When you leave the platform turn right and exit by the right hand side exit as this brings you out opposite Via Marghera and you just walk down that street. The hotel is five minutes away from the train and bus station, which makes it very convenient. Rooms are spacious, with a big bed, armchair and mini bar, and a lot of space for the clothes in a small walk in closet, but the best part is probably the bathroom, nicely decorated and with a bathtub, which is harder and harder to get in mid range hotels. Some details with the room makes it seem quite dated though, and the bed is a bit uncomfortable, they should probably consider changing the blankets... Read more

I always have a thorough look through trip advisor before booking hotels. This one looked really great from what I could see. I noticed a couple of reviews which said 'when we arrived they told us they were fully booked and moved us to a different hotel' I brushed this off as there were a lot of good reviews. We were tired after a day of travelling but really excited to be in Rome. When we got to reception, the gentleman behind the counter did in fact tell us that they were fully booked. Sayin... We were persuaded to change our deluxe room to a newly finished suite just 30 metres down the street, well who wouldn't take up that offer?.......well we would if given the choice again, the suite was more like 300 metres away from the main hotel, down a dirty street, well is is Rome....and then in a building that wasn't finished, so constant smell and noise of building works. We also lost internet service a couple of times and once our key stopped working, so we had to wait for someone to resc... Read more

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special, the staff can't do enough to assist you, the rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated, the continental breakfast was fresh and an excellent selection, only down side no tea and coffee facilities in the room, but can be ordered via room service

We stayed here for five nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is a lovely little hotel and the staff were incredibly helpful, offering recommendations on every topic! We took taxis to and from Ciampino airport (for the ?30 flat rate each way) and for the rest of the time we used the metro station located in the Termini train station about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Everything is very easily accessible from this hotel with a bit of walking. We even used the nearby Termini station... Read more

I wanted a nice hotel near Termini, the central train station in Rome. Found the Hotel Royal Court via Last minute.com While the hotel itself is about 4 long blocks from the station, it was inviting and reasonably well to do. When we checked in, the hotel desk clerk called Ruby told us that we were not staying in this building, but a brand new refurbishment in a building much closer to the station. Also, although we booked a standard room with ensuite, this was actually a suite, not just a room.... Read more

My fiancé and I stayed here for a few days while we visited Rome for our one year engagement anniversary. The hotel was a few minutes walk from the train station and really easy to find. The hotel room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and lovely quality. It was 20 minutes away from the trevi fountain and everything else was within walking distance. We had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised when I saw my room. Traditional Itallianl furniture and comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was luxurious with constant hot water and fluffy towels. After a day of walking around Rome, the little garden was a lovely retreat , with my friends and a glass of wine where we chatted well into the night. Staff very helpful especially Renee, the waiter. Would certainly book this Hotel next visit to fantastic city of Roma. Wonderful memories.

From the minute we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming, Location is excellent for train station and Metro with easy walking to all the sights. Hotel decor is very plush even luxurious for this star rating and the breakfast buffet was the superb with the biggest variety I've ever seen. Only negative is that rooms 104 and 105 suffer from street noise Thanks for a great stay

A surprise birthday trip to Rome and my boyfriend had booked the Royal Court hotel. On arrival I was amazed at the room, good size and nice furniture. Breakfast everyday was definitely worth the money (however not expensive at all) a big spread every morning with a coffee! Closest station is the main one Termini and so easy to get around! But most importantly thank you to the staff who were all so helpful and friendly! Appreciate you making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable! Thank you From... Read more

LOCATION The Royal Court Hotel is located just a short walk from the Termini, but just make sure that you leave the station from the Via Marsala exit. Cross the road and proceed down Via Marghera - the hotel is a short walk down, on your right. As the hotel is located near to the Termini, this makes it great for catching the underground to wherever you want to go. If you don't mind walking, most of the city is within about 30 minutes walking distance. FACILITIES This is a boutique hotel, so the... Read more
