Ideal location 5 minutes from Termini train station and therefore near a metro. The rooms and bathroom were spotless. Reception very friendly and helpful and a big shout out to Ruby who was so nice in reception. Breakfast was ok, you have to remember you're in the continent. Would I go back, yes. Free wifi too.

We should say up front that this is not a complaint about the hotel; we enjoyed our stay, the staff were great, and the location was very convenient. It's simply that, with a 4* rating, one might expect more from it. Location - very convenient near Termini station, close to our airport shuttle bus, and easy metro and bus links. It's on the quiet side of Termini at the end of the street, so felt peaceful Staff - friendly and considerate, from swift email contact beforehand, to a kind welcome, t... Read more

I stayed here on 8th April up until the 11th. I've never been to Rome and it was my first city break and so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I would say this hotel was better than I imagined. We flew from Gatwick to Fiumicino Airport and used the train to get to Termini from the airport (probably 35 minutes or so). The hotel was easy to find from Termini, very convinient location being only a couple of minutes walk away (made exploring Rome easy) plus many restaurants and shops (plenty of ... Read more

I cannot praise this hotel enough; this was myself and my boyfriends first trip to Rome and this hotel was an excellent choice. About a 25 minute drive from Ciampino airport, from the minute we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady who off of her own back went through a map with us and explained the best way to get around the city; she then telephoned our restaurant for us to change our booking time as our flight were delayed; she when dropped us the news that we had been upgraded to a brand ... I've just come back from Rome after spending a week there. This hotel was absolutely amazing. The hotel was right next to the Termini. Where you can get to everything in the city. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful and you're greeted every time you enter with a smile and a warm welcome. The staff are amazing. So polite and welcoming. The young man who takes the bags up is so so nice. He works really hard as well, he gets there at 6am and leaves at 10pm and he always has a smile (I wanted to ... Read more

The hotel located at a very good location, only about 5 min walk from Termini station. The room is small but clean. Staffs overall are friendly just the old guy who handled our check-in is a bit unfriendly. Wifi is slow. Better request for a quieter floor if possible, we didn't do that so we could hear ppl talking and laughing @ their room, it's actually annoying.

It was our first time to Rome and Italy in itself. We booked last minute and were very happy with the hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous with good local knowledge. They recommended an excellent restaurant which we went to the first night. The room was a bit small but who goes to Rome to look at a room that you spend 8hrs a day sleeping in?! For us it was everything we needed. The air con was fabulous, Rome was very hot and was nice to come back to a cool room! Local to the Termini and ... Read more

Such a cute boutique hotel, the staff were always so helpful and happy, our room was nice and there was a great selection for breakfast. The hotel is 5 mins from the train station so all the attractions were within walking distance and commutable via the metro if you wish to use it. (We found walking better as you see the city more) Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family that visit the beautiful city. We had a fantastic time!

Four of us, two couples, stayed at this hotel for four nights in late June. The hotel is very well situated within an eight minute walk of Termini station. When you leave the platform turn right and exit by the right hand side exit as this brings you out opposite Via Marghera and you just walk down that street. The hotel is on the right hand side near the bottom. Pleasant staff who are very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and well air conditioned. Plentiful hot water. Beds are ... Read more

We have just returned from taking our Mum to Rome for her 50th. 3 of us stayed at Royal Court in a triple room. Well turned out rooms comfy beds, clean and airy. All the usual facilities - fridge, hairdryer, toiletries and TV (not that we used it) It's centrally located in the termini area which gives a great starting point to see all the sights. Upon arrival and everytime we walked into the hotel we were greeted with smiles and all staff were happy to help. They offered help and guidance of... Read more

The Royal Court Hotel is located just 5 minutes from the Termini. A 4 star hotel. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our mattress was firm and did wonders for my back!! We had booked in on a bed and breakfast arrangement. Breakfast is served in the basement with a plentiful variety of fruit, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, cold meats and cheese, bread rolls and scrambled egg and bacon. Tea, coffee, fruit juice and water also available. Our room had door... Read more

My boyfriend and I visited for 3 nights 8-11th of July. It is just a 5 minute walk from termini train station. On arrival we were greeted by a polite receptionist who spoke perfect English and were told we had the best room in the hotel. Our room was one block away from the actual hotel in an apartment building where the hotel owned two rooms. This 'room' was more like a small apartment with a kitchen and living room area as well as a bedroom with a huge bed, a walk in wardrobe and an amazing b... Read more

Stayed here for 5 nights. Friendly staff who gave us a map and helped us work out the best way to travel around Rome. The hotel is small but this is great as the staff have more time to help you. The room was beautifully decorated and was well equipped. The location of the hotel was superb! Quick walk to Termini station which we were able to get a metro from to nearly any location in the city. Transport to the airports was also excellent! Thank you for a great trip!

Stayed at the royal court hotel for a weekend. The staff are amazing, very friendly, welcoming and spoke perfect English. The staff gave us a map and pin pointed places we may want to visit and the best way to get there. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was fully stocked. It's only a short walk from the terminal and bus stops. The only down sides were the lay out of the bathroom, people could see in the window. Also every night and morning you could here the room next door to us, whi... Read more

Hi - we stayed in the Royal Hotel and would certainly stay there again. It was conveniently situated near the Termini yet was quiet with lovely character rooms. We had major problems with flight delays where the hotel staff went out of their way to assist us and make us feel welcome and relaxed.

Checked out today. Clean, comfortable + convenient being close to Termini. Only bug is the mini bar was not cold....I had a couple of the reasonably priced beers from there which were tepid at best. Granted they keep the red wines in there as well so that may be the reasoning behind that. Considering the heat in Rome at the moment - it peaked at 34?? yesterday - it'd be nice to have a cold relaxing beer after all the walking. Plus the option of placing cold water bottles I'm sure would be welc... Read more

I took my husband to Rome for his birthday and spent our 1st anniversary out there too. To summarise this hotel -Breakfast dishes limited but still good for a normal breakfast. Breakfast room itself was nice and cosy, clean and the ambience was just lovely. -Rooms-A tad small but most hotels are like this. Good for a 4* hotel and cleanliness of room was also good. Nothing to complain about. General help and advise from hotel staff was good - especially two staff from Philippines - A man and la... Read more

This hotel had a great location, so close to Termini, and for the most part it is modern and well kept. The customer service, particularly from Ruby was outstanding, and would be the main reason for a return visit. The room was quite comfortable, however it was a little annoying that we had two single beds pushed together (which kept separating), not a proper double bed. There were some other oversights in the room, there was a little mould on the wallpaper near the air conditioning unit, and th... Read more

Visited Rome for four nights and found this hotel through lastminute.com deal. Had an excellent stay, the room was clean and big. Lots of cupboard space and a space bathroom with excellent shower and bath. Mini fridge wasn't functioning which is the only complaint as we didn't have any cold drinks for the room. Room was cleaned everyday and new towels everyday, which was fab. Breakfast was a bit pricey for a small and slightly random selection so we only went once, but good if you need to fill u...
