went to visit Rome with my girlfriend last summer in august 2014 , we weren't necessarily looking for a hotel near to the center as we didn't mind walking around , but we were looking for a hotel with free parking and free wifi which this hotel offered , as we had our own rental car and if you are planning to visit Rome by car and you don't have parking , you will pay alot for parking spaces as much as 40 euros per day so all in all it was good , clean , good breakfast .

My daughter and I just stayed for six nights and were very comfortable in the location. Room was spacious and suited our needs with plenty of closet space, a safe and free Wifi. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We purchased the C.I.R.S metro ticket for 24 (each) euros which gave us 7 days of full access to transportation; which we used a lot. Bus stop just around the corner and comes frequently. Metro station less than 1 km away. If you are looking for a quiet space out of the busy ... Read more

Staff is nice and friendly. Rooms are okay, but ours was on the ground floor and thus noisy, since the reception is near and you can hear the phone ringing each time. Breakfast was okay, coffee was horrible. It takes a while to get to the metro, but the bus stop is near the hotel.

A little on the outskirts but a nice outlook over the park. Bus stop just around the corner and a ten minute walk to the metro, so easily accessible. Nice rooms, clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff helpful and pleasant, we enjoyed our visit.

Enjoyed our stay at the Romoli Hotel. The hotel is within a residential area so it was not bustling with tourists and there were a number of nice restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel. If you prefer buying some goods from the local shop then there is a Carrefour a short walk from the hotel. The breakfasts were more than adequate with continental offering and particularly enjoyed the salami and olives. Their ground floor rooms could be accessed by a person in a wheelchair.... Read more

Very good place, with a nice and calm location, well trained workers. Always clean and organized. Multilanguage support is prepared and fluent, installations are modern and confortable, not far from a metro station and close to 24/7 market.

A great place for a good price! Near the hotel you can find good restaurants, a big market, and a wine and cheese market (you should try it). The rooms are clean. It's a little bit far from the downtown but by the metro you can arrive in the center of rome in almost 30 minutes.

A bit late posting my review as we only stayed a couple of nights before cracking on to the Adriatic coast. Hotel had secure gated parking which as we had an hire car was a must and as Rome has congestion charges in the centre the bus route into Rome was not that far away and it was nice knowing that had we gone in our own car it was in a safe location. We have had driving holidays around Europe in recent years. The room was quite large had the standard TV bathroom and plenty of cupboards and wa... Read more

We were travelling through Italy and this was our last stop! Unfortunately we were allocated to the rooms facing the main gates so no sleep all 3 night!!! Gates were banging till 1am noisy road was keeping us awake half of the night. Air condition was very weak and located by the window ... So as soon as you close the curtains your air con is useless. There was no tower rails even if we wanted to reuse the towels there was no place to hang them. We were 4 adults in a room and sofa bed was made u... Read more

Nice family hotel at only 25 minutes from Ciampino Airport. Comfortable and clean room. Helpfull reception service. The subway is at +/- 1Km from the hotel but there is a bus at 50 meters. The only negative point is the fact that there is no dining room only breakfast.

Hotel was excellent value in a nice quiet area with secure gates. Location was good for central Rome with a main route bus stop nearby and the Metro about 10 minutes walk away. I had a triple room for me and my teenage sons which was cosy but adequate. Cleanliness good. Athroom with shower over the bath. TV of no use as no English channels. Some nice restaurants nearby but you need to jump on the bus really for good choice and atmosphere of Rome. COLLUSEUM abiut 10mjns on the bus and runs reg... Read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very happy girl on reception at night which is nice to see. Location of the hotel was about 20 minutes to the centre of Rome by bus which wasn't a problem as the bus stop is literally around the corner and a tabac right by the bus stop to buy tickets.

Very good for the price. Nice little hotel on the outskirts of Rome. Nice and quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. Very basic but has everything you need (actually a kettle would have been nice). Being outside the city, it is a little out of the way and It is a bit of a walk (20 minutes) from metro but we only found this to be a problem when we wanted to stay in a a bar but had to rush back for the last train (11:30 pm). WiFi wasn't great. Not much nightlife in the area but there is a good ba... Read more

We stayed in early August 2016. Our room was small but clean enough with reasonable air conditioning. It is slightly uphill 15 minute walk to the nearest Metro station (Furio Camillo) but once on the Metro system it is very easy to explore all the well known sights in Central Rome. The air conditioning goes off during the day as does all the electric when you remove your "Key" from the holder so the room can be very hot upon your return. There is a safe in the room and a TV and free wifi which w... Read more

Spent a total of four nights which was an OK time at the Romoli Hotel. The location is on the outskirts of Rome but the public transportations available is definitely okay - using official taxi from the inner city of Rome costs about 10-15 euros depending on where in the city you're taking it from which in my opinion is acceptable. In thd middle of august most restaurants close to the hotel are closed but there's a few cozy places to visit and there's also a bigger supermarket aswell as a few ... Read more

We arrived on friday and check in flawlessly and easy. Got to our floor to nice room. The double bed was very comfy but the single bed that was not that good. Clean bathroom and towels. The woman that checked us in was so nice and attentive, with very good English. We stayed 4 nights. Be very careful with the night portier as he wanted me to pay ?50 deposit for non working travel adaptor on the first night as i forgot mine. Thankfully I bought one nextday for ?3 very near hotel. Used the hotel for a few days holiday. Booked a quad room and was pleased with the size. The staff on the front desk were helpful and informative although not able to help sort out problems with the wi-fi. It was a good location, the metro was about 10 mins walk away but there was also a bus into Rome which the hotel told us all about. There was a variety of restaurants nearby to get an evening meal. The continental breakfast was good value for ?5 but make sure that the staff in the restau... Read more

Hotel was booked by Agent for our first trip to Rome, although 12 km from the city centre once we found it the welcome from the reception was excellent, within a few minutes she had shown us on the map all the major sites we wished to visit, explained the transport system (Metro stop 10 mins walk away) the rom was very clean and tidy, hotel is 3* but this did not mean it was poor. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace which was a delight, good range of continental food available and fresh hot... Read more

It was an offer by BA together with the air tickets booking this hotel. It also was my first visit to Rome. Three days were pretty enough to explore the city just wandering around,to get the spirit of it. Have to thank BA for the choice of the hotel . It was a pleasant surprise to find such a lovely ,looking very homely and cozy place.First of all, good value for money as it included light breakfast which we had on the top floor on fresh air.Secondly, and it is always very important for me,it wa... We arrived later than expected due to flight delays and were greeted by a charming female receptionist. However, our room on the first floor was disappointingly dark, with frosted windows which opened on to a fire escape. We requested a change of room but the receptionist was unable to help because the hotel was full. However she promised to ask the manager if we could have a change of room the following day. Later that evening she informed us that this would be done and, sure enough the follow... Read more

Arrived and were greeted by a lovely lady behind the front desk and given directions to our room. Room was very very dark unless you opened the shutter and Windows which over looked the street below. Fridge wasn't cold but the safe worked fine. Bathroom was fine but the shower head was broken so you had to Hold it to use it. One morning we decided to have a lie in after breakfast as we'd had a very hectic schedule and took our time getting ready and the house keeping lady was very angry towards ... Read more

Good hotel in a nice quiet location out of the centre of Rome, welcome after spending a day in the busy city. We emailed in advance to request a room overlooking the park with a balcony and was exactly what we got. Room was spacious with a comfy bed, only downside was no drinks making facilities and chargeable bottled water. The room was by the lift so was quite noisy when other guests came in and out but did quieten down. We booked this hotel because of the free parking, access is security gate... Read more
