The Rome Life Hotel is located within walking distance of all the main tourist sites in Rome. The Vatican was a bit further out but still only a 40 minute stroll along some wonderful Rome streets and the Tiber river. The hotel staff were friendly and all had a good level of English. Breakfasts were good and there was a reasonable choice of both hot and cold food although there was little variety from day to day. As you would expect, the cappuccinos offered with your breakfast were wonderful... Read more

We stayed in a junior suite May 14-23, 2016. We arrived early AM (10:30), happily greeted by Mauricio and led to our room. The reception staff was helpful with all requests. But, the lovely Rosanna was especially helpful and friendly with any questions, recommendations or maps. Our junior suite was clean and had great air conditioning. The rooftop was lovely for coffee in the AM and for a pre/post dinner cocktail. The breakfast buffet was extremely plentiful (hot/cold dishes). Federico wa... Read more

Every morning the waiter remembered my coffee order and brought to over without me asking, the service was just perfect not too OTT and not too lax. The entire team were amazingly attentive, looked after our needs with our 10 month old daughter, recommended places to visit, booked restaurants and provided extras such as a cot bed, sterlising equipment etc that we needed at the drop of a hat. The hotel itself is modern, centrally located and i would certainly stay here again. We stayed in a suite... Read more

The service at this hotel was simply outstanding! Nothing was too much for the staff and were very helpful with any queries.. I actually visited the hotel for my 30th birthday, and upon a request from my friends, decorated my room with balloons and delivered me two cakes on the day which was lovely of them and definitely helped making my day memorable.. The location is brilliant as all the main attractions are in a walkable distance and hotel standards very excellent

Centrally located, the hotel like other boutique hotels we have stayed at seem to provide a comfortable environment. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean and rooms serviced daily. It is a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and most other interesting sites of Rome.

We stayed in budget hotels and B&Bs for most of our trip, but decided to go a little nicer for the last night in Rome. I'm so glad we did! This place was an easy walk from the train station and also close to everything we wanted to see on our last day. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet, had air conditioning, and had crisp clean bed linens. It was - by far - the largest and nicest bathroom of our entire stay. Even the included breakfast was great. We had our first ever trip to Rome in May and my god it was an absolutely fantastic experience. This hotel helped make our experience even better!! Just the little touches go a long way, like the take away tea and coffee station as you leave the hotel for your day. Also there was a stand of umbrellas just in case, however luckily those were not needed. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us tips on where to go for shopping, food and drinks, which was perfect as we have never been to Rome a... Read more

Check in was quick and very helpful. They explained everything well and spoke very good English. They had also asked if it was our first time in Rome and this was the case for us so they brought out a map and showed us routes to the nearest attractions (all within walking distance). The room is modern and cool with great air con. The view is not the best but its not an issue. Free mini bar which is stocked with some drinks. Overall a great first impression.

Very nice hotel but the room was really small. Lack of place to put luggages and no sink counter space. Shower area had no shelf to put soap and shampoos. Location was good, very convenient to main attractions. Hotel employees were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was about 5-10min walk from the major attractions. From the minute you checked in they were very helpful, giving you a map and advising you of the best routes to take. The room was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Rome for the first time!

We had a perfect stay at the Rome Life Hotel. The hotel is located in a very good , safe and high end area. It is a 20 min walk to the Trevi Fountain and a 10 min walk to the Colosseum. The staff is very courteous , helpful and answered all our questions patiently. The room itself was spacious , clean with wooden floors, good furnishings, comfy mattress and modern decor. The bathroom was also very clean and the rain shower is great. It does not have a traditional roman theme, but it was perfect ... Read more

We are currently on our 3rd night here and I do not have any complaints. The staff has been great. They are very attentive and all speak English. They have helped us with any assistance we have requested. After returning to our room today we found a happy birthday cake and letter for my wife, what a great detail! The location is great. The street is not too busy, but has everything you need very close by. It is located very close to the major attractions, especially the Colusseum and Forum. All ... Read more

This was our first visit to Rome and I could not have selected a better place to stay. From the time you walk into the front door the staff are friendly, attentive and very helpful. On our first day, they even gave us a map and outlined all the main attractions and told us the approximate distance from the hotel. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to all the main attractions. (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain. We even walked to the Piazza Narvona and the Vatican from here). The Vat... Read more

We arrived in a very wet Rome after a weeklong cruise and a two hour drive. We were received with the greatest warmth and efficiency by the team at reception who answered our questions and got us settled. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and shopping and restaurants. We walked to these sites daily with our 13 n 9 yos. The rooms are spacious, modern n clean. Rome Life Hotel was just perfect for what we needed. Very central and within walking distance to everywhere.. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms although small were smart, modern and just what we needed. Breakfast was a bit basic but with the amount of pizza on offer in the city we filled ourselves up elsewhere... A lovely hotel and perfect for a short city break.

This was a wonderful hotel. The location was perfect, on a back street, but near many attractions. The beds were so comfortable, it was hard to get up in the morning!! The breakfeast was better than I expected, with everything you can think of and more. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Great stay. Will be back!

The hotel is modern, clean and in a great location. A 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and 30 mins from the Colosseum. Staff were friendly and gave us a lot of information about where to go and how to get there. Breakfasts were better than we expected. There was plenty of choice and it was well presented and well cooked. I would certainly recommend this hotel.???

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. We felt it offered everything we needed for our holiday to Rome as, despite not having a restaurant for lunch and dinner, or spa etc. we were intending to be out and about enjoying the sights, and eating out a lot. The location is excellent for those wanting to walk to the main sights. The room was compact (as was the bathroom) but it was stylishly decorated, with wonderfully high ceilings and had all the features you would expect from a high... Read more

We were really impressed with how good this four stars hotel in Rome is. The location can't get any better. It is no more than ten minutes walk from all must see places in Rome. It is also located in a quiet area with a lot of good restaurant around that you don't need to queue to have a meal. The best thing is probably the breakfast, one of the best I have ever seen, even compared with top 5 stars hotels. Very nice and modern rooms. Highly recommended

Most of the sights were within 15 to 20 minutes walk. The hotel is modern and well appointed with a very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold choices such as scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, pastries. The room was smallish but quiet. We had an in-room safe as well. I wasn't sure if I wanted to book an Airbnb or a hotel. Then I found that Airbnb's are much further away from the sites. Then I found that many of the cheaper hotels are located next to the train station, which can be sketchy at night, though I probably wouldn't be too bothered coming from San Francisco. Still, I settled on Rome Life hotel as a splurge for great location and nice amenities. We walked everywhere and was glad that this hotel is centrally located to come back and take midday naps. ... I stayed at Rome Life in October and the hotel lived up to the photos I saw on the website and reviews. It was clean, modern the staff were so accommodating and helpful. Literally there at all times, the hotel is small yet intimate and we never really crossed paths with other guests only at breakfast.
