The hotel is a strong 3* hotel and I would recommend for anyone wanting a central Base in Rome for a few days. The room was small but clean and the hotel staff was great with a fab breakfast in the morning. The hotel is 5mins from the colleseum and 15mins from the trevi fountain and as it's slightly out of the centre bars/restaurants around it were slightly cheaper. Would recommend highly.

I enjoyed my stay here, it was in the perfect location, near many attractions we could walk to, safe and comfortable . Glad we took a taxi there originally as it was hard to find. Every morning we got up, had breakfast and cappuccino and conversation with the staff. The rooms were 3 star, small shower and the air conditioning wasn't the best. But the staff and location made up for it.

Location was great, close to Coleseum, close to bus routes, great terrace view to enjoy a bottle of wine and relax. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, felt lucky to find this hotel. Breakfast buffet was good.

Just back from 4 days at Hotel Fori Imperiale. We stayed there 20 years ago (and our friends 4 years ago) and returned because of the position of the hotel in a quiet street close to Forum Romanum - with no tourists walking up and down the street. We enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace in the evenings. The rooms are small and the mattresses are hard, but it is ok, and the breakfast is very good. Good value for money! But the best part is the atmosphere in the hotel and the very helpful and smili... Read more

We're biased, stayed here before...this is how a small family establishment should be run. Staff pleasant and professional, whole establishment spotless, some rooms larger than others,no problem, breakfast excellent, the scrambled egg with bread made by the same family owned bakery excellent. Position is brilliant, off the main drag Via Cavour but ideally placed for walking wherever. Sorry...but ‚?¨119 we find is good value.

Stayed here for 4 nights, It is a great wee hotel in a quiet side street but just a couple of minutes from the Colosseum and Forum and well within walking distance of all the other main sites. My single room was small but as it was only used for sleeping and washing in I found it adequate for my requirements and the air conditioning is easy to use and much needed. There is a good selection of food on offer for breakfast, cereal, cheese, ham, fruit, even bacon and they make a mean cappuccino as... Read more

This little Hotel is literally a block from the colosseum the only complaint I have is that the beds were very hard!! The breakfast buffet they provide I'd very good. The staff is very helpful with any info you may need to make your Rome visit easy. WE used the hope on hop off bus which was perfect!!

Hotel is in a quiet side street within easy walking of the Coliseum, the Forum, the monument and the hop on hop off bus. The staff were extremely friendly. Free breakfast was great. Our room was clean though small made up for by having a large outside area. Accompanying friends had a much larger room on same floor. The common roof area is,great with views to,Coliseum. Many many restaurants within an easy stroll catering for all tastes.great value.

We were in Rome a few years ago so knew we wanted to stay near the Colosseum. This little hotel was perfect for us. Great location---but our favorite part of the stay was the warm, friendly people who worked there. They seemed proud of the hotel and happy to be working there. The breakfast was perfect thanks to the nice gentleman who served it. Great way to start each day! We loved being in the Monti area and the many small restaurants down little streets and alleys behind the hotel. We did not ... Read more

The location is in front of the Roman Forum and a stones throw from the Colosseum. Fabio, the clerk who checked us in could not have been nicer. The room is adequate (keep in mind this is a European 3 star hotel, so it is smaller with slightly less amenities than most Americans expect, but it was very clean and had all we needed. Breakfast was great. The pastries were fresh and varied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning is controlled by the front desk, which we did not... Read more

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we wanted everyone to know this is a hidden gem in the midst of rip roaring Rome. The room was a nice size we had two twin beds and everything was clean and we'll kept. Price is reasonable for Rome but what makes this hotel unique is the staff. Fabio and Rosa and Francesco made our visit memorable. They were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. Our visit would be less memorable without their assistance. ... Near the Colosseum and Roman Forum. As others have mentioned, the shower is small and the walls thin (can hear the people next door at times), but the location and wonderful staff make up for the shortfalls. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Rome.

This hotel is in the most amazing location. On a quiet side street, you'd never know you're in the cacophony of noise and activity that is Rome. What makes this hotel even better is the staff. Fabio at the front desk is amazing with his knowledge of his city and his willingness to assist his guests. He arranged transportation back to the airport and even called the local BMW motorcycle dealerships to see if they carried T-Shirts from BMW of Rome. The crew at breakfast, I think their names a... Location is always my frist priority. It is a few steps from the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the metro but on a quiet side street. Good value, nice staff and good breakfast. Small room but not as small as so many Roman hotel. I will return.
