Stayed for four night, had real concerns when we got a deal on this hotel as it looked so far from the centre. In reality it was a ten minute walk to the metro and a pleasant 15 minute ride into the centre of Rome. The staff were really friendly on arrival, spoke great English and immediately explained how we could get around. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was filling and the roof top terrace was a great place to catch some sun after hectic days sight-seeing. The only gripe is they all... Read more

I stayed at the Raganelli for 2 nights during my tour of Rome. Room conditions are between 3-3.5 star but the staff, including the manager, had 5 star attitude. For those not wanting to spend over the top, but still want a comfortable bed and good night's sleep, the Raganelli is excellent. The hotel also has a bar, run by same staff or manager, so you will quickly become familiar with those on duty and their big heart in providing warm hospitality to their guests. I had a fantastic coffee serv... Read more

We got bus tickets on the Ryanair flight to get the bus from Ciampino airport to Rome central terminus, ?4 each, or ?8 return, a bargain. Also available if not flying Ryanair in the far corner of the outside car park. We then got the tube to Cornelia on the A line. The hotel was quite a walk from the tube station, get on the bus with your tube ticket, it take 3 minutes, all public transport uses the same ticket, get the 100 mins for ?1:50, best value. When we got to the hotel the Wifi is ... Read more

The hotel was more than we we were hoping for but just a little too far away from Rome. There is a bus stop opposite and that takes you to the metro relatively easily. Taxi back in the evening was normally ?20. The exterior of the hotel is a bit drab but the inside is clean and modern. If you are planning on going in and out of Rome once in a day then it's fine but when you need to get back to get changed and go back out again travelling starts to eat into your day a lot!

Looks good as coming in but as you spend your days here you noticed a few things. The big one.. The lift clearly stated can hold 6 people. Got stuck. When we got out was told that it only holds 3. One of the ladies in my tour got stuck in the toilet. The bath Jacuzzi didn't work, and I didn't have a plug to use the bath. The room was lovely and big, had a ceiling window, did let in lots of light. The room was clean and Got free water! I had breakfast, Wasn't a big choice. Staff where great ... Read more

First impression I wasn't sure, but it did improve. We were given a penthouse room on the top floor, which was good view, quite a busy road. I wasn't impressed with the shower as the shower head holder was broken. I didn't want to spend the time we were there holding the shower head all the time. We were really ready to freshen up as we had been travelling quite a few hours in quite warm conditions. We went down to the reception to ask for another room with a shower that worked. The staff at this hotel were wonderful, and helpful. They pointed out how to take the Metro to downtown Rome, although in a pinch it is a 18-20 euro cab fare. The room was quite large (by European standards) and the small bar on the main floor, and the rooftop patio had spectacular views of the neighbourhood. I stayed here twice because the first visit was such a wonderful experience.

Lovely hotel. Staff very attentive. On a busy road but you didn't feel like you were when inside. Buses were a little unreliable and a half an hour walk to the metro. Would have liked tea making facilities in the room but you could get it from the bar if you paid and enjoy on the lovely sun terrace watching the sunset.
