Pleasant quiet location on the edge of the park away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Our room enjoyed great views over the park with balcony to relax on. Spotlessly clean. Spacious room. Lots of friendly and helpful staff always on hand. The spa is superb. The distance from the centre might not suit everyone. In our experience it was a good 30 minute walk to the nearest metro. There is a tram stop nearby with a route direct to Vatican City (approx 30 mins ride). However, if you a... Read more

We visited this grand hotel at the end of April. Set on the edge of a beautiful park and next to the city zoo, your only 10 minutes walk from the city center. An old luxurious traditional 5 star hotel, with staff beautifully presented and door men on night and day. We stayed on the top floor which gave us fabulous views of the city at night! The outdoor pool has just opened for the summer season and although we did not try it, it looked very tempting! We will be back, highly recommend ??????... Read more

When we arrive we had been impressed with the quality of the rooms. The closeness on the famous Borgeues park was ideal. The park is romantic in its views and ideal central location to the Vatican and shops. The hotel was impressive in relation to the quality. The only down side was the services to be honest and that is more 3star.. We would revisit this hotel.

We spent 5 wonderful days in Hotel Parco Dei Prinipi in Rome. Our room with the view over the hotel garden and pool to Borghese Park was very beautiful. The whole hotel and all its amenities are truly outstanding and more than remarkable. All hotel employees are very friendly and helpful at all times. Although close to the centre of Rome, the hotel itself is very quite and also ideal for relaxation. A great hotel, which we can absolutely recommend!

This hotel is perfect for a stay in Rome. Outside the centre so it is away from the chaos, but close enough that everything is only a short cab ride away. Very friendly welcoming staff who were brilliant with a child. Spacious and comfy rooms. The best part is the outdoor pool which is one of the best at any hotel and a real treat in the city. Only wish we had booked for longer.

Great facilities, workout, wet area as well as a pool out back. the spa deserves a review all it's own... just amazing! Breakfast was disappointing for the quality of the hotel. but most breakfast's in Italy were less than expected. Great park next door that's worth a visit and the best part of this place is it is still very central to everything but out of the very crowded tourist areas. Would stay here again!

Stayed here on business for 2 nights on a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel has grand feel to it with numerous works of art in its corridors and quality fixtures and furnishings throughout. The hotel is next to the Borghese Park and is a 30 min walk to the centre of Rome. The rooms are decorated with various Italian art work and have the most comfortable beds. There is a museum in the park for which you will need reservations so we didn't make that one. Also, you can walk to the Spanish Steps area of Rome which has shopping on Sunday if you want to do that. Staff was superb, the hotel and rooms - a work of art. Well appointed hotel in Rome. Located about 20 minutes from the historical district of Rome. Largely a residential area with easy access to a small number of restaurants. The few we tried were excellent. Hotel food was tasty but limited in selection. Great pool, although rather strict with children jumping and having fun. Fantastic fitness studio. Rooms were small, but very elaborate. Overall an excellent hotel.

Just outside the old city in a quiet area surrounded by embassies and the Galleria Borghese. This hotel is breathtaking. The lobby bar is a great place for a drink. The spa is also very well appointed with both indoor and outdoor pools and several interesting water treatments. Or room was very comfortable and the staff is superb. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Rome Zoo...we could hear the elephants and lions roaring when we were on the balcony. Hotel is non smoking BUT you can smoke on the balcony. While it's not centrally located in a touristy area, a cab will cost about E10 for one way into central Rome. The area is in the diplomatic district so the area is quiet with a couple of nice restaurants and bars but you'll have a 10 to 15 minute walk. The restaurant and bar in the hotel is very expens... This hotel has a beautiful pool, good meeting space, and a great spa/fitness center. The facility itself is top notch. The only major negative to the property is that it is on located in what seems like a more residential area. We had a room with a balcony and a view of the pool (5th floor). The room was average size (two twin beds pushed together). The view was lovely. Our biggest gripes: the AC was not cold (it was 95-100 in Rome), at that time you needed a good working AC unit. The Parco dei Principi has long been known as the hotel of choice for heads of state. It's location near Villa Borghese is one factor, but it's the service that really sets it apart. You won't find better service in Rome. It isn't an inexpensive night's stay, but if you are looking for first class accommodations to conduct business, you'll be hard pressed to find better. My wife and I loved our stay and would love to return one day. K

I'm glad I skipped Hyatt and Hilton this time. My goodness, it was nice...perfect Like staying in a museum! The furniture was especially comfortable. Everyone knew exactly what they were expected to do and were on the spot as soon as you needed something. The piano player was excellent!

Every thing was very nice. I loved the terrace and the view from my room. Nice surroundings. Room service we did not like very much, other than that, every thing was perfect. A bottle of wine upon our arrival was a very pleasant surprise.

We stayed here on my birthday! The staff were really helpful, even changing rooms for us to have a better view. Got massages at Prince Spa, and had breakfast before we left. The staff were super accommodating, helpful and warm. The room was fantastic. The whole experience was memorable. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

This hotel is in a lovely location if you want to be away from the tourist areas , the staff are nice , rooms are warn and small a lot is promised but it doesn't really deliver the terrace is great the breakfast staff are good but are pushed to mention their names so that we will rate them on trip advisor so I'm not going to do that I think this hotel is ok but certainly not great .

The property was beautiful, located across the street from Borghese park. Our room had a balcony overlooking quaint buildings; one of which must have been an event venue because we heard loud music in the evenings on more than one occasion. The breakfast was delicious and the live piano music in the bar was lovely. The only negative thing we have to say about this property is the front desk and spa staff were not friendly. We stayed in the top 3 Italy properties and this location had the most un... Read more

This place was by far the nicest place we stayed on our whole tour of Italy. We were here for one night before flying back home. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the spa and other amenities. I would compare the service and swank level to that of the St. Regis in the states. There are chandeliers everywhere and all the staff is dressed in full suits or uniforms. The bed is super comfy. The breakfast that is included with the room is really nice. It appeared that most people stay... Read more

We picked this hotel as we didn't want to stay in Rome city and it was a great choice, after a busy day sightseeing it was lovely to come back to the sanctuary of our palatial room, amazing spa and outdoor pool, view from the balcony of the park after being in the city is beautiful. Breakfast had a great choice of continental or cooked with some lovely pastries. The spa was lovely and not too busy, a large hydrotherapy area and fair sized pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat ... Read more

For us the hotel was in an ideal location, right on the edge of the park. A huge park which is always buzzing from runners to people who have hired bikes to get a better feel for the park, the hotel is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city but only 20-30min walk from one of the main attractions (Piazza di Popolo) and the main shopping street (Via Del Corso), it was more like 30 mins for me as I have a stick to walk with at the moment but normally 20mins would be achievable ... My husband and I loved this hotel. It truly is a five star place. The location is right next to the beautiful Borghese Gardens and it's a quiet area away from the bustle of the city center but still very close to all the main attractions. The hotel staff is wonderfully polite and helpful. There are cabs waiting outside the hotel ready to take you wherever you'd like to go. The room service was delicious, and the breakfast is nice since it can be hard to find a good breakfast in Rome. There is a ... Read more

This hotel was way to antique and fancy for me. So if you like old paintings and old-stye furniture-welcome to this hotel. Champagne is served T the breakast, hotel offers gym with a pool and a spa. The location is great for walking lovers. You can walk to Piazza del Popolo through the beautiful park Borgese.

I stayed here with my husband for three nights. The hotel is expensive and has pros and cons. PRO: The pool indoors is amazing. This is the best indoor pool I have ever seen! They have hot tub, water massage chairs, sauna, relaxing room and is beautiful. They also have out door pool but was closed in October. The rooms are very nice and well layed out. Right next to a park that is very nice, just did like going in there at night. CON: Expensive, food and not near other restaurants. About... Read more

A comfortable hotel with pleasant residential surroundings and nearby walks to the zoo and Pincio Park. We found the restaurant maitre d' snooty and insulting. Our group received no reservations for dinner. Upon asking for suggestions for other restaurants, the maitre d' turned his back and walked away. Fortunately, Antonio, the barkeep, kindly offered sandwiches and fries to tide us over in an area devoid of more choices of food. I wonder that the hotel manager allows such insufferable tre... My family of 5 stayed in this hotel in August 2015, and wow, staff were amazing, hotel was only moments away from zoo, and a short taxi ride to all the tourist attractions. We struggled to find a good restaurant, as the in house dining was no so good although the staff were wonderful. Rooms were immaculate and spacious, and the pool was an absolute bonus considering the heat. Would definitely stay again.

Very welcoming front desk staff who are always ready to help. Very pleasant experience with excellent service. The two pools provide a relaxing experience at the end of a day of sight seeing. The hotel is impeccable clean and has lovely old world charm. The location is quiet next to the Villa Borgese Park which is great if you would like quiet at the end of your day. It is a bit of a distance to sites and the train station but is walk-able.

To be honest, I've stayed in 5 star hotels in Dubai, Bali & Barcelona, and this hotel is not 5 star. Its very clean! But the service and facilities is not 5*. Prices are shocking..?5 for water, ?10 charge just to bring food for room service, ?7 to iron a tshirt (as there is no iron provided in room) & ?14 extra per night for tax (which was added on our final bill) erm why? Staff where not friendly at all!...We felt as though we were looked down upon. Room wasn't modern at all. And whe... Read more

Following a 7 day cruise of the Med we stayed in Rome for 3 days at the Parco. This is a wonderful hotel located in a very nice section of the city on the outskirts of one of the largest parks in the city. It is truly a five star facility. Stayed here for three nights, post cruise visit to Rome. The hotel was chosen for it's quieter location, and amenities. The hotel is beautiful with an old world style. The staff was very helpful even with a balky airline check-in system. The food was very good, but the four dollar signs is accurate. A great hotel, and a great visit.

Sister & I had one grand night in this luxurious hotel right next to Villa Borghese. Good location yet quiet area. Rooms were delightful. I used the little gym for a brisk workout. Service was commendable. Room had view toward the park. We had lunch here but chose to go to nearby Brunello??s for dinner. As the name implies, it??s a grand hotel. Not cheap by any means.

We enjoyed our stay at the Principi. The rooms were large and nicely appointed; we had a large balcony room overlooking the Park and the pool. Rooms across the hall from us were on the side of a busy road. The staff were polished and professional. We had two dinners in their restaurant which were excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of cold and hot foods in their included buffet. It is located in a beautiful area near Villa Borghese but too remote for us as we prefer a city center locatio... Very nice hotel in a quiet and upclass location in Rome but near most attractions. Excellent SPA to rejuvenate after long tours in the city. We were on a holiday tour and although the hotel caters also for business people we felt very comfortable. Wondeful beds and large room. Some details must improve though such as the internet/cable TV. Overall a memorable experience and we hope to return.

The Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & Spa sits in the center of upscale region of Rome and offers classic but comfortable stay. The decor in again classic and elegant. The staff are very kind and helpful with a big smile. I had a emergent request for ironing my shirt for a business and the staff return the shirt within 30 minutes. It is also very convenient to walk to many attractions in Rome. Next time i will bring my family to stay here when we are in Rome.

Excellent hotel, great location. The hotel is comfortable, sufficiently clean. The furniture and the aspect show that the hotel is not brand new, but it still has charme. Rated not at the maximum, because the service at breakfast was not very prompt for a five star hotel (few people serving).

Offered and paid for what was supposed to be a deluxe high floor room but was given an average room on a lower floor. Paid the price stated on the Hotel website but upon arrival I was told that it was a very, very favorable rate, in other words too low for the room I was told I would occupy. Beautiful facility, great location, very peaceful.
