Only 1 complaint and it is a strange one. Although I have stayed 7 times now I could not get as good a price direct from hotel as I got from a agent strange . I saved over 100 euro a day going with a agent.

Pleasant quiet location on the edge of the park away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Our room enjoyed great views over the park with balcony to relax on. Spotlessly clean. Spacious room. Lots of friendly and helpful staff always on hand. The spa is superb. The distance from the centre might not suit everyone. In our experience it was a good 30 minute walk to the nearest metro. There is a tram stop nearby with a route direct to Vatican City (approx 30 mins ride). However, if you a... Read more

We visited this grand hotel at the end of April. Set on the edge of a beautiful park and next to the city zoo, your only 10 minutes walk from the city center. An old luxurious traditional 5 star hotel, with staff beautifully presented and door men on night and day. We stayed on the top floor which gave us fabulous views of the city at night! The outdoor pool has just opened for the summer season and although we did not try it, it looked very tempting! We will be back, highly recommend ??????... Read more

When we arrive we had been impressed with the quality of the rooms. The closeness on the famous Borgeues park was ideal. The park is romantic in its views and ideal central location to the Vatican and shops. The hotel was impressive in relation to the quality. The only down side was the services to be honest and that is more 3star.. We would revisit this hotel.

We spent 5 wonderful days in Hotel Parco Dei Prinipi in Rome. Our room with the view over the hotel garden and pool to Borghese Park was very beautiful. The whole hotel and all its amenities are truly outstanding and more than remarkable. All hotel employees are very friendly and helpful at all times. Although close to the centre of Rome, the hotel itself is very quite and also ideal for relaxation. A great hotel, which we can absolutely recommend!

This hotel is perfect for a stay in Rome. Outside the centre so it is away from the chaos, but close enough that everything is only a short cab ride away. Very friendly welcoming staff who were brilliant with a child. Spacious and comfy rooms. The best part is the outdoor pool which is one of the best at any hotel and a real treat in the city. Only wish we had booked for longer.

Great facilities, workout, wet area as well as a pool out back. the spa deserves a review all it's own... just amazing! Breakfast was disappointing for the quality of the hotel. but most breakfast's in Italy were less than expected. Great park next door that's worth a visit and the best part of this place is it is still very central to everything but out of the very crowded tourist areas. Would stay here again!

Stayed here on business for 2 nights on a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel has grand feel to it with numerous works of art in its corridors and quality fixtures and furnishings throughout. The hotel is next to the Borghese Park and is a 30 min walk to the centre of Rome. The rooms are decorated with various Italian art work and have the most comfortable beds. I had the best night sleep in quite a while. The outside pool area was lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was fine... Read more

If you have the money to splurge a little on your hotel I highly recommend this one. It's right next to a beautiful, huge park as well as the zoo. There is a museum in the park for which you will need reservations so we didn't make that one. Also, you can walk to the Spanish Steps area of Rome which has shopping on Sunday if you want to do that. Staff was superb, the hotel and rooms - a work of art. And, dinner and breakfast were amazing. The best creme brule ever and the breakfast croissa... Read more

Taxis were never an issue from hotel but returning sometimes was tricky. Taxi drivers were for the most part, wonderful, with the occasional driver who quoted 3x what we had been paying! Service for breakfast was spotty--coffee difficult to obtain. Housekeeping never came one day, but did come by when we notified desk. Pool servers/area was great! Very punctual and friendly. Well appointed hotel in Rome. Located about 20 minutes from the historical district of Rome. Largely a residential area with easy access to a small number of restaurants. The few we tried were excellent. Hotel food was tasty but limited in selection. Great pool, although rather strict with children jumping and having fun. Fantastic fitness studio. Rooms were small, but very elaborate. Overall an excellent hotel.

Just outside the old city in a quiet area surrounded by embassies and the Galleria Borghese. This hotel is breathtaking. The lobby bar is a great place for a drink. The spa is also very well appointed with both indoor and outdoor pools and several interesting water treatments. Or room was very comfortable and the staff is superb. We attended a wedding that had the reception at the hotel and everything was perfect.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Rome Zoo...we could hear the elephants and lions roaring when we were on the balcony. Hotel is non smoking BUT you can smoke on the balcony. While it's not centrally located in a touristy area, a cab will cost about E10 for one way into central Rome. The area is in the diplomatic district so the area is quiet with a couple of nice restaurants and bars but you'll have a 10 to 15 minute walk. The restaurant and bar in the hotel is very expens... This is a wonderful hotel that has a pool. After a day of tourning in the sun, it is relaxing to come back to a place to swim. It is very close to the park and zoo but not inside the walled city. There are some good restauants and shopping, walking distance from the hotel. Beds were very comfortable too.

We stayed here as part of our trip around northern Italy, which was arranged through Citalia. We didn't know much about the hotel but it had been recommended by Citalia. The photos on the internet do not do it justice, the reception and lobby area are beautiful and the staff are attentive, although not so approachable (couldn't have a laugh with them). This hotel has a beautiful pool, good meeting space, and a great spa/fitness center. The facility itself is top notch. The only major negative to the property is that it is on located in what seems like a more residential area. You must walk through the park towards the historical center of the city to reach restaurants, stores (should you need a quick snack or soda that doesn't cost ?6), and most tourist attractions. This is a beautiful hotel near the consulates in Rome. It is not in the center of the most visited sites which has its pros and cons. It is near the Villa Borghese and the zoo. The hotel has a lovely pool which was great for us because it was 95 degrees and we were traveling with two 9 year olds. However, the pool was not terribly children friendly. I researched this hotel quite extensively so was well aware of the location, but was keen for a hotel with a pool. Location wasn't an issue as such, the walk through the Borghese Gardens is shady and plenty of activities to watch on your walk into the city. The inside is as expected, typically ornate, palatial Italian. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the air con works well. A little old, the room is quite small, things need to be refurbished...great pool and lobby area. Not sure about the spa at all. The elevator situation really needs to be handled. The hotel is situated close enough to walk through the park to the city center, but just far enough away to feel you are in a large wooded park. The service at the hotel in every area was beyond exceptional, the staff was friendly, remembered our likes and our names everyday of our 5 night stay. The pool was luxurious and the perfect end to a busy day. The hotel was very clean, organized and luxurious throughout.

The staff are professional and reasonably friendly, and the rooms and public rooms are spacious and well equipped. This hotel was great. Breakfast was served outside each morning. The outdoor pool area was awesome after a long day. There is a convenient park adjacent to the hotel which was great for walking and sightseeing. The Spanish steps are located on the other side of the park which was a great jaunt in the morning. Most noted was the front desk. The staff was extremely helpful with any and all questions. There are good restaurants in walking distance but the hotel food was good, too.

It was my 1st time in Rome. It is now my favourite city. The hotel is positioned in a super position for visiting the city overlooking the park. On reception Ciro was a star & nothing was too much trouble. Everything was done with a smile. The Spa is excellent & the pool also. On arrival at the pool we were told it was full. Ciro sorted the issue.. We would go back at the drop of a hat.

We had a room with a balcony and a view of the pool (5th floor). The room was average size (two twin beds pushed together). The view was lovely. It was summer and the room faced the sun most of the day, so the room would get very warm. Our biggest gripes: the AC was not cold (it was 95-100 in Rome), at that time you needed a good working AC unit. We had several family members staying in the same hotel and they were all experiencing AC issues. The toilet took 20 minutes (yes, we timed it) to re-c... Read more
