Very clean. Really helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. Best location, walking distance to all attractions and sites. Recommended !! I would definitely come back here. If you get to the hotel past 19:30 pm you'll have to push the intercom to get in..

Book it - don't think about the price, just do it. We rented an apartment that is affiliated with Palazzo Manfredi. Every step of the way we experienced personal service with a smile. Need a taxi from the airport? The staff were happy to assist. (Our flight was delayed from London and I phoned them from the airport to notify them of our late arrived at circa 00:30 - not a problem.) The hotel's taxi driver even waited at the hotel reception - with the kids asleep in the car - whilst we che... Read more

We stayed here for three nights while in Rome. The room was spacious and beautiful. Very nice touches throughout the hotel. The staff was also extremely helpful. We had difficulty getting tickets to the Borghese Gallery before we arrived, and the manager of the hotel got them for us right away. The restaurant did not disappoint - one of the best dinners we had while in Italy. Worth the price.

The best thing about the Manfredi is the location. The roof top restaurant has an unobstructed view of the Colluseum which is literally across the street. The second best thing is the staff which is very professional and responsive. They cannot, however, make up for some of the shortcomings of the hotel. We stayed five nights in mid May. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and quickly shown to our room on the second floor. At the desk they said they were pleased to inform us we had been upg... Read more

Went for a friends 50th birthday. I did plenty of research for this trip as we have been to Rome a number of times and wanted to stay in a different hotel to the one we have stayed in before (Westin Excelsior). Read the reviews, checked out the location and could not resist booking this hotel. Everything from checking to the time we left was great. The staff in the bar and breakfast were fantastic. and might i add that the view from the rooftop restaurant whilst having breakfast was amazing..... Read more

We stayed in their apartment located three blocks from the main hotel. The location was great! The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. My luggage went missing with the airline and we landed on Easter Day... the staff helped me find a place to purchase toiletries close by with it being a national holiday.

We spent 3 days in this lovely five star hotel. Beautiful room and bath with a Nespresso expresso maker. We were upgraded to a larger room at no additional cost. We arrived early so our room was not ready. We were then escorted upstairs to the rooftop restaurant with a view of the Colosseum and given a glass of Prosecco. Lunch reservations were made for us at a nearby great restaurant. The front office manager Giacomo Valle was so helpful. This was our third trip to Rome so we had already seen ... Read more

We stayed at the Palazzo Manfredi on the last two nights of our vacation. It was a wonderful way to end a long trip. The hotel is in a great location with a spectacular view of the colosseum and a lovely park across the street. The hotel is small with only 16 rooms in total. In some ways it feels as if you are staying in a private chateau. The service is excellent from the moment you arrive. The rooms are very small as is the elevator which accommodates 2-3 people maximum. However, the ... Read more

What a great hotel! If you have an opportunity to stay here for a special occasion that you want to be memorable, do it. Quaint, individually styled hotel with exceptional service and great food in a restaurant with the best view in Rome. What better way to start your day than with a great breakfast overlooking the Colosseum ...... This is not for everyone as it is not inexpensive, but for memories to last a lifetime it is well worth it.

I travel a lot, we stayed at five star resorts all over Italy, but this one was not a five star experience. The people were, for the most part, very nice, (though I didn't appreciate the front desk girl insisting the bed was turned down when I told her it wasn't my first night), and it should be noted that the manager was very kind and recognized our concerns and was sympathetic and generous to remediate them, a true professional and we appreciate that. Also, Valentina is an absolute sweetheart,... Read more

My wife and I returned to Rome in part to stay at the Palazzo Manfredi hotel. The view and overall experience are breathtaking. If you are not sure of the best way to spend your time in the city the concierge will be your best friend. We used their services and benefited immensely. Thanks to their arrangements we saw more than expected. Michelin star dining is another of the many reasons to stay here. We shall return!

There is a beutiful view ftom the restaurant on the rooftop of the Colosseum, and it is breathtaking. This is a small luxury hotel that deals out unmatched service and value. We were upgraded to a room with a direct view of the colliseum, about 200 meters away. Gorgeous to see at night from our room. I am very disappointed with this hotel and would recommend avoiding at all costs. We specifically booked this hotel for its proximity to the Colosseo (Colosseum). There is a surprise though! You may not be staying near the Colosseo! They don't tell you this when reserving the room but some of the rooms are offsite from the address listed for the hotel (5-10 minute walk). Palazzo Manfredi has much to recommend. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that the rooms were a little cramped. Otherwise, the setting is magnificent, and if possible you should splurge for a room with a Coliseum view, which is especially delightful at night.
