The biggest surprise was when I found that I have a jacuzzi Turkish bath shower. Big, clean, nice room, great bread for breakfast. And very helpful and nice staff, always smiling. And just around the corner from great Gelateria La Romanaš???

A nice easy going hotel good location close to mass transit and easy to walk to historic sites. Oh and the food court in the main train terminal is a fun place to eat and people watch After you see Rome use the easy and fast train service to day trip cities outside the capital

Within 10 mins walking distance away from Roma Termini, closed to the embassy of Turkey so it feels safe even in the evening since there are soldiers patrolling around. Every staff that we met was so nice, I know most Italian don't drink hot water, good thing is the bar inside the hotel provides hot water for free, which helped me a lot to relieve my cold... The double room is comfortable. Breakfast was not included, but 10 euros per person is reasonable.

The hotel is nice for its money. The rooms are small but decent and the breakfast is very good with fresh food. The receptionists are amazing. They helped us a lot and they explained us everything about Rome. Especially a young blonde guy, whose name I cannot remember. My review's four is because the room had a bad smell if the windows were closed. I can't explain how it smelled. It's far away from the city center but it's near to termini. What i am advising you is : Don't go to termini to take... Read more

I had a room in this Hotel for a weekend of leisure in Rome (2 nights). The room was lovely with those textile wallpapers and it added a further bit of romance to the stay. The staff was helpful, professional and able to speak english. Will go there every time i will stay in rome.

We stayed at Montecarlo Hotel for 3 nights. Staff/Service - 5 - All staff members were friendly and helpful, always someone on the front desk to assist us with our needs. Food - 3 - Breakfast: We only used the breakfast once due to booked tours and an early flight. The breakfast room was small, on a busy day it may be a struggle to find a table. The selection as well was varied and good, but small with little cooked options. Sleep Quality - 4 - Did not hear any noises at all, bed was Okay. Roo... Read more

I stayed here for 2 nights on a solo trip and had a single room. Yes it wasn't massive, it was indeed a single room and the shower cubicle was tiny (luckily I'm small) but it was clean and comfy and totally suitable for my needs. To be honest my experience of any city hotel is that the rooms are smaller than they are at say a coastal resort and having the single room to me was better than paying a supplement for under occupancy - I wish more hotels did this! The staff were welcoming and break... Read more
