This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 week holiday in Italy. The staff at iQ Hotel Roma were both professional and friendly - very helpful when we tried to make dinner reservations for my birthday. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and modern. It had all the amenities required including tea and coffee facilities and even milk (I did not find this in any other Italian hotel we stayed at). My husband and I stayed at the IQ hotel Roma from May 21-28, 2016 and it was a very pleasant experience from the start. We arrived before check-in and our room was ready for us, which we appreciated. This hotel has everything you could need or want in a self-service manner. It was great if you want a clean, safe room. And the location is perfect - it is right off the main street of Via Nazionale and at first I was worried about noise. However once you turned down the side street it is very quiet... Read more

Loved this hotel. Everyone at the desk was very helpful and always smiling. The hotel is spotless! Our room was clean and comfortable. Not huge rooms but enough space for the 2 of us. The roof top sitting are is very nice even has a small play ground for the kids! One of my favorite things was the beverage vending machine that dispersed large bottles of wine!!! Breakfast was very good, with something for everyone!! I would definitely stay here again!!!

This is a great hotel. It's a modern hotel that is 3 blocks from the Republicca metro stop, 5 blocks from the train station, and just 1 block from a bus stop for several major lines - and yet, it's in a fairly quiet location just a few yards from the opera's plaza. Everything was clean and comfortable; and our twin bed room was really quite roomy by European standards - there was plenty of room to move around, even with luggage. Based on other reviews I had read, I asked for a room with a lar... Read more

We were just in Rome for one day, at the end of our holiday to the Amalfi coast. Having visited the city a few times in the past we knew we wanted somewhere that would be convenient for visiting some of the main attractions, and easy to get the train at termini back to the airport the following morning. Having our 1 year old son with us this time, meant we were even more fussy about where we were staying. There was no stress with lugging several bags and a pushchair the short walk from the train... My room smelled. First night I noticed it, but checked in at midnight so I didn't want to change rooms. I called the front desk and they told me I could change rooms the next day. Well, when I came back in the afternoon from sightseeing I wanted to change rooms but they told me I had to do it in the morning. Next day, I decided not to change rooms and just let housekeeping clean it. Well, it smelled even worse after they cleaned it. The smell was a wet dog musky odor. The power went out w... Read more

Seriously, the complimentary bottles of water in the room is such a welcome thing compared to constantly buying water everywhere we go. It's a very new and modern hotel! The bedroom and bed were pretty small but everything was very new and clean! There was a good size bathroom. They also offer complementary water and coffee in the room! The breakfast is awesome...lots of options! I read a complaint that it could get noisy in the halls and Echo in the rooms but I didn't find it noisy at all. Also the location is great and so is the customer service! I highly recommend it!

Rooms are clean, modern fittings and good size for both room and bathroom. My wife thinks this is the best hotel we have stayed in Italy (we been to Siena, Portvenere, Florence, Positano). Service was also very friendly/helpful with front desk staffed 24 hours. Hotel also has a gym, and a rooftop breakfast area. I'd highly recommend. Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that we needed 2 rooms for the 5 of us but couldn't get connecting rooms, which was not ideal with kids. Would definitely stay here again though... Rome has a lot of old buildings that cannot do a lot of refurbishment, so in general you will see older hotels. iQ hotel roma is one of the nicer one in the city. It's 6 years old and modern, bathroom was clean, bed was comfy, smart TV, free water and tea with water boiler in room. My room was a tad small, but I didn't mind, it still had a desk I could do work. Location was super central, I walked everywhere, Excellent value overall.

This hotel was perfect for our first trip to Rome. The room and hotel was modern and super clean. The location was centrally located to all of the hot spots to visit. IT was also very quiet--no noise from the narrow, busy streets of Rome. The staff was amazing and recommendations for authentic restaurants and "hot spots" were right on!! I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again on our next visit!

Just returned from 4 days in Rome and the iQ hotel is beautiful one of the best I have stayed in. Rooms cleaned every day, it's away from the hustle and bustle and the variety for breakfast is wonderful. Staff were really friendly especially a trainee sorry couldn't remember her name who helped my mum when she had problems with the safe. She was so helpful and a credit to the hotel. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and definitely will stay again. Thank you iQ!

We had an excellent week in Rome thanks to the IQ hotel! We arrived early and a room was not ready yet, they alllwed us to have breakfast until the room was ready, which took no time at all. Our third time, now we put them to the challenge of having us and our kids in a single room. No problem at all! just pick a room with a double bed and a single one, and they can get attached together to form a monster size bed that allows a big family to stay with no trouble. This time also we went by car. As it is in a ZTL area, then you need to check with them if it is possible they can issue a pass for you if you arrive when the area is active, otherwise you can arrive on a weekend and should...
