This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 week holiday in Italy. The staff at iQ Hotel Roma were both professional and friendly - very helpful when we tried to make dinner reservations for my birthday. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and modern. It had all the amenities required including tea and coffee facilities and even milk (I did not find this in any other Italian hotel we stayed at). My husband and I stayed at the IQ hotel Roma from May 21-28, 2016 and it was a very pleasant experience from the start. We arrived before check-in and our room was ready for us, which we appreciated. This hotel has everything you could need or want in a self-service manner. It was great if you want a clean, safe room. And the location is perfect - it is right off the main street of Via Nazionale and at first I was worried about noise. However once you turned down the side street it is very quiet... Read more

Loved this hotel. Everyone at the desk was very helpful and always smiling. The hotel is spotless! Our room was clean and comfortable. Not huge rooms but enough space for the 2 of us. The roof top sitting are is very nice even has a small play ground for the kids! One of my favorite things was the beverage vending machine that dispersed large bottles of wine!!! Breakfast was very good, with something for everyone!! I would definitely stay here again!!!

This is a great hotel. It's a modern hotel that is 3 blocks from the Republicca metro stop, 5 blocks from the train station, and just 1 block from a bus stop for several major lines - and yet, it's in a fairly quiet location just a few yards from the opera's plaza. Everything was clean and comfortable; and our twin bed room was really quite roomy by European standards - there was plenty of room to move around, even with luggage. Based on other reviews I had read, I asked for a room with a lar... Read more

We were just in Rome for one day, at the end of our holiday to the Amalfi coast. Having visited the city a few times in the past we knew we wanted somewhere that would be convenient for visiting some of the main attractions, and easy to get the train at termini back to the airport the following morning. Having our 1 year old son with us this time, meant we were even more fussy about where we were staying. There was no stress with lugging several bags and a pushchair the short walk from the train... My room smelled. First night I noticed it, but checked in at midnight so I didn't want to change rooms. I called the front desk and they told me I could change rooms the next day. Well, when I came back in the afternoon from sightseeing I wanted to change rooms but they told me I had to do it in the morning. Next day, I decided not to change rooms and just let housekeeping clean it. Well, it smelled even worse after they cleaned it. The smell was a wet dog musky odor. The power went out w... Read more

Seriously, the complimentary bottles of water in the room is such a welcome thing compared to constantly buying water everywhere we go. We spent 3 nights here after being recommended by a friend. Family of 4 in two rooms which were extremely comfortable and quiet with stylish bathrooms and much needed air conditioning!! Each room has a mini fridge which is available for you to use, stocked daily with bottles of water. The location is perfect in a quiet area just off the Via Nazionale which is perfect for food and shopping. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We loved the quirkiness of the hotel with vending machines o... Read more

It's a very new and modern hotel! The bedroom and bed were pretty small but everything was very new and clean! There was a good size bathroom. They also offer complementary water and coffee in the room! The breakfast is awesome...lots of options! I read a complaint that it could get noisy in the halls and Echo in the rooms but I didn't find it noisy at all. Also the location is great and so is the customer service! I highly recommend it!

Modern rooms, friendly staff, great location (7 mins to Roma Termini) and complimentary bottles of water! What more can you ask for in a city that requires a bit of walking around! Rooms are clean, modern fittings and good size for both room and bathroom. My wife thinks this is the best hotel we have stayed in Italy (we been to Siena, Portvenere, Florence, Positano). Beds are lovely and you can change the pillows to whatever suits you as well! I would highly recommend any traveller to come ... Read more

Wow! We pulked up outside a building that we likened yo a lego brick surrounded by beautful old buildings. Once inside the exterior didnt matter and the team at OQ hotels had thought of everything! Our family room was surprisingly spacious and very clean and comfortable. Guest info was clear and they offer the water in the minibar with their compliments. The hitel has a self service laundry, an internet bar in the foyer, a gym, childrens play area on the roof and smokers are even considered wit... Read more

We spent 3 nights at IQ hotel. It's a great, modern hotel and very centrally located - walking distance to some of the main sites and to the metro/train stations. Service was also very friendly/helpful with front desk staffed 24 hours. Hotel also has a gym, and a rooftop breakfast area. I'd highly recommend. Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that we needed 2 rooms for the 5 of us but couldn't get connecting rooms, which was not ideal with kids. Would definitely stay here again though... We were pleasantly surprised with this lovely hotel right in the centre of Rome & is just a 5 minute walk from the Termini Train Station & 400 metres from the Metro Station and 15 minutes' walk from the Coliseum & the Trevi Fountain. Buses to the Vatican City stop on Via Nazionale are close by & the hop on hop off bus is just around the corner. Staff were excellent & couldn't do enough to help! Rooms & bathroom are all large, & Air/conditioned, Wi-Fi is free and rooms have flat-screen. A big p... Read more

Location: The IQ is a contemporary building in well situated in quiet area next to Termini train station. It is a safe neighborhood and walking distant to the old town. Service: The common areas as well as the bedroom of the hotel are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms: tiny but comfortable. There is only one chair to sit on. If you are seated at the desk, the other person cannot pass around. Fortunately we had beautiful weather and did not spend much time inside. The b... Read more

Traveled from the USA and picked this hotel based solely off the Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. Hotel is modern, very clean, nice rooms, large bathroom and shower. Free wifi and bottled water. The breakfast buffet is well worth the modest price and contains a huge selection of warm and cold items. There are many places to eat all around the hotel. Used the tripadvisor app to locate them. Every restaurant had English subtitles and took VISA. There is an ATM machine next doo... Read more

Pros: Location, location, location - 15 min walk to Spanish Steps, 5 minute walk to Termini. We were only in Rome for two nights, mostly as a means to an end and this was suitable. WIFI was adequate, printing in the reception area was free and easy, security was good with key cards needed to enter the area. Cons: The rooms are tiny, the beds are narrow and there are 0 views. As a matter of fact, the room we had looked into an alleyway and into the windows of the building next door with some rat... Read more

It's not far from mass transport, and if you're going to stay here check out tickets at the Opera (right across the street). They have a great breakfast, a wonderful staff, and a great location - what else can you ask for in Rome?

After sifting through many hotels on TripAdvisor this hotel fitted the bill on price and location, 5 minutes walk from Termini (the train station). On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by friendly welcoming staff in a lovely air conditioned reception. The hotel was spotlessly clean, modern and the rooms immaculate with attention to detail - even including a pair of slippers. Beds were so comfortable that we are even considering purchasing one. Breakfast is a great deal 9.90 euros per per... Read more

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and modern and have every facility you could need. We were upgraded from a small to a standard room and I dread to think how small the small double would have been as the standard double was pretty small! Book a standard room! Although we couldn't complain about the hotel we wouldn't stay here again purely due to the location. Although it is handy to be close to termini station we loved eating in the Trastevere are... Stayed April 2016 for a friends birthday. Great stay, lovely modern hotel in a great and quiet location but still being central. Rooms are clean and modern, slightly on the small side however and the views are not brilliant, but perfectly apportioned for a short weekend stay. The rooftop is superb with great facilities and comfy sofas, and the fact you can purchase alcohol from a vending machine up there is perfect! I would say the hotel is missing a trick here however by not having a roof t... Read more

The hotel is located a short walk from the main Termini station which was perfect! There is access to the metro at this station as well, so its great for getting around the city if you get tired of walking. We chose to walk everywhere as this hotel is in a good location and there is so much to enjoy by walking through the city. The hotel staff were so cheery and helpful. The hotel has a great location close to the Termini station so we were able to walk to and from to catch the train. Day trips leave out of the same station so we found it convenient. The Piazza del Repubblica is only a few blocks away with metro station access, restaurants and bars. The cleanliness of this room was off the charts. This new contemporary hotel located 8 minutes walk from the termini station. Very clean and quite, staff is very friendly, bed is comfortable which I do very care about. Very convenient to lots of stores and attractions. I only give them 4 star is becuz there shower room is too small and not much place to hold my clothes in the bathroom and no drawer in the bathroom. But I m still very satisfied with this hotel I chose.

We stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful hotel during August. A family of 4 with 2 teenage children we booked the quadruple room with a double bed, single and a converted sofa (large). I spent a long time trying to find a suitable hotel for us in Rome and the IQ seemed to fit the bill. -The whole hotel is air conditioned which is a real relief after a day in the heat. -Room was plenty big enough for the 4 of us and spotlessly clean. Plenty of water in the fridge( replenished every day), tea, co... Read more
