The room was pleasant, clean, comfortable and well situated. We stayed seven nights and truly enjoy the hotel. The staff was very polite, informative and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was good, always had fresh made coffee Americano and Cappuccino with a nice selection of breakfast items. The hotel is well situated, very close to major attractions and Piazzas. Very enjoyable time.

There is something quite comforting to return to a familiar area of Rome with its excellent amenities and to be remembered at the reception desk of this charming hotel. As usual, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was ample and tasty. I very much appreciated the help with directions and transport links when I mentioned my plan to visit a different part of Rome on this trip. Also, I was delighted to discover just how easy and reasonable it was to get to and from Fiumicino a... Read more

Central, good value, friendly staff and good breakfast. The noise from the surrondings must be expected and function as an alarmbell in the morning. Just positive so you dont miss breakfast. Wifi, clean, walking distance to all the cities stones...and there is a lot of stone in rome, really old stone.

Great hotel, very clean, good selection at breakfast and the coffee was great. Location was perfect, most attractions within walking distance, maximum was 30 minutes walk to St. Peter's or you can take the tour bus which stops 5 minutes away. Campo di fiori is minutes away with a good selection of restaurants and bars and also a market which is well worth a visit. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic stay here and will definitely visit again.

What sold me on this hotel was the breakfast area in the ancient theater.....so cool!! I researched forever trying to find just the right hotel, and so glad I decided on this one. We didn't want a western type hotel, but one with a local feel in a good location and this one fit the bill. The location was excellent once you figured out how to find the hotel. It's very close to many places and short walks to Pantheon, bus stop, Trastevere, Campo Di Fiori etc. We even walked to the Forum....a ... Read more

We stayed here in May so it was starting to approach peak periods but €200 a night for this place is a joke. We actually stayed in a separate building, we couldn't believe it when we were given a fist full of keys and directions to a flat around the corner! Sure the cellar may make the Americans swoon due to it's age but the breakfast wasn't impressive. We're vegan and limited options at hotel breakfasts are something we expect but the regular food didn't look so great either. Wifi was spotty,... Read more

Like most places we stay, it is the tireless efforts of the people behind the counter that make the difference between good and great. And so it was here. While the annex room wasn't the best we have stayed in, it was 1500 years old so you need to make allowances for age. The breakfast was excellent and the location was central for the historical places we wanted to visit.
