The furniture and stuff in the bathroom are old, not very ugly, but here is scratched, there is cracked... And inner court multiplies noise: if someone talks near the reception, you hear everything even onthe third floor. The location is very good: close to the railway station, you can get there by feet and it takes about 10 minutes. Also you can walk to all main sights. Though the hotel is near railway station, the street is quiet. The staff is nice. Breakfast is funny: no ham or cheese or... Read more

A very good hotel to stay if you´re in a budget. The place looks like a little Roman museum, very well preserved and decorated. The breakfast was good (their capuccino is very nice!) and the staff is always receptive and kind. Just our air conditioning wasn't enough for the hot italian summer.

The place is nice, close to Termini station and not far from the city center (About 15mins walk from Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi). The staff is really friendly and helpful and the room is comfortable and clean. I would go again and I would recommend it to friends.

I was on a trip as a teacher with a high school class and we had the misfortune of staying at this 'hotel'. My students are very well behaved, but even when trying to do their best to comply with the staff's ever-changing interpretation of their own rules they where constantly met with scoldings, threats and invasions of their (and our) privacy. My complaints are too many to give a detailed account of everything, so I am presenting the following list. Please ask for any additional information... Read more

Very good location, we stayed in two rooms. One for four people which was very big, and a room for two that was very small. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was sufficient. Nice staff, we would stay here again!

My first review for TripAdvisor - I don't normally write reviews of the places I have been, however I felt compelled to do so on Hotel Seiler after my experience there. The only thing I can say is I wish the reviews of the hotel I read prior to booking had been more detailed, as I would have looked for alternative accommodation. Whilst I am aware my review is more negative that positive, if you were to stay in this hotel yourself you would understand why. The location of the hotel is a bonus..... Read more

I requested an airport transfer, and the driver from the hotel arrived with his son, only acknowledged me with a nod, and spoke on his phone or to his son the entire 40 minute car ride to the hotel. I already had a bad impression before arriving. On arrival, the room was NOTHING like advertised in the photos on their website - different beds, bedding, floors, bathrooms - different everything. There was no wifi as promised, which is an issue for a 20-something year old female travelling solo. I d... Read more

Stayed here with grandchildren . Hotel was central which was great. Very basic hotel. A bit strict for kids. Breakfast was not up to much but plenty of nice cafes close to hotel. Could get better hotels in Rome. We enjoyed Rome

- The hotel is very central - the rooms look amazing - Receptionists are very helpful and fluent in English. - Each room has towels, soaps, shower gel and shower caps, mini bar and a flat screen tv. The breakfast and WiFi were both weak but it only cost me and my other 3 friends 21.50 euros per person a night ( in all 172 euros for 2 nights) therefore it is still worth it. -AND PLEASE do not sit in front of the hotel steps as they are private property and you will get the hotel in a lot of tr... We were 4 of us and since we were in Rome only for a day we choose to stay in one Quadruple room. We were given the room on the ground floor besides the reception, i don't know about the other rooms in the hotel but this particular by far out of all the places I've stayed at this rooms here was the most disappointing. They are old and uncomfortable. The mattress is uncomfortable and you can feel the spring in it. The toilet has bad ventilation. The Wifi doesn't work. The front desk is extrem... Read more

This time I needed a decent hotel for one night and chose this one because of its location. My first impression was very good: I liked the old building, the young man at the reception was very friendly, my room was renovated and very clean. Though after I entered the room I realised that there is no place for my clothing: neither wardrobe, no shelf. It's ok for one night, but if I stayed longer it would be quite inconvenient. I was rather tired and went to bed early. As soon as I did it I reali... Read more

Perfect location for a short stay in Rome. It is a very clean hotel, friendly staff and lardd family rooms. Breakfast was good too. Situated in a quiet area of Rome but still very close to the centre. Overall very good for a 2 star hotel!!
