Very comfortable and big bed, Internet connection worked almost flawlessly, which is often not the case in many hotels. I don't like the coffee machines they have in the breakfast restaurant and also the juice machine: the juice was probably made by mixing powder and water, which is already terrible, but on top of that, the water had a very strong taste. 4-star hotels should be serving actual juice, I think. The location was nice and very convenient for me, a bit too far from the tourist staff.

Good place. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.easy to reach taking the trains. Gave a free tourist map that was very helpful when walking around. Only thing that happened was my room was crazy hot and I couldn't get the temperature to change and the walls were very thin so I heard people walking through the hallways and talking all night. Besides that, the room was really nice. Enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here in March while traveling with a group of college students. The hotel is old and in need of updating. The room was clean and decent size by European standards. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices. However, the room decor was quite heavy and the room musty. My room was on the seventh floor and faced a courtyard surrounded by apartments. The elevators were quite slow and the hotel seemed to cater to large travel groups, primarily students. The room was hot even thou... Read more

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. It is very, very clean hotel. We had a big, comfort room and bed. Staff was very polite. On booking.com there was a wrong information that this hotel has free parking nearby,so we were badly surprised when we arrived and found out that this is not true. Helpful receptionist let us park our car in front of the hotel for day and half. Later we found parking that was 20‚?¨/day. Location is great, train station is in the same street and it is only one station to red met... Read more

The room was decent in size, there was a desk so you could sit and work and the airconditioning functioned well. The breakfast buffé was also ok. However the free WiFi was extremely slow and unreliable, some of the personel was not very service minded, the key cards stopped working a number of times (they should replace the system) and the personel was irritated when you show up for the second or third time the same evening to get the key fixed. There also were quite a lot of sounds from the su... Read more

The staff were kind andd the breakfast was fine, but it does not rise up to a 4* hotel. More like a 3+*. Oh, and don't forget the city tax it's not included in the offer. We paid an extra EUR60 for 5 nights.

Hi all. I went there with a group. Rooms can vary and lucky for me mine was great. The staff is very friendly and the hotel properly located. It takes 10 minutes to go to the center. Breakfast is abysmal though! The street is very loud so if you need a very quiet place, avoid it. Finally I didn't pay much for my room since it was part of a package but I wouldn't spend over 150‚?¨/night! Cheers

Our room was really nice and spacious and the decor was pretty nice. Slightly dated but I've seen a lot worse. My only issue was that the air conditioning was extremely loud, the staff member at the desk was a bit rude about the situation. She tried to tell me that the air conditioning was loud in all the rooms, even though our friends in another room had quiet air conditioning. I had to convince her that there was something wrong with it, and then she sent someone to fix it. The repair job help... Read more

We were in rome for five days and we had a delightful stay at the Regent hotel. Excellent location, clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice and helpful staff, good breakfast.... In two words, best hotel to book in room.

The place is good. I joined my Doctor friends who attended the European Society of Cardiology. The hotel made a good move to coordinate with the ESC for shuttle buses to and from the Convention Center. The rooms are average with a few amenities. The restaurant serves good food. The frontdesk staff are very courteous and attentive.

One review says the rooms vary... maybe so, but at least in our case, our room was old yello, with dark wood and funky bordeau wall paper, curtains and bedding. And the bathroom was old and while I can't say it wasn't ''cleaned'', there are age-induced mold stains around the shower. The shower has very cheap doors that half open making in hard to get in and out. We were here with a group / tour package, and didn't spend much time in the room, thankfully. The buffet breakfast is OK... bu... Read more

My group tour finished here and I booked an extra night. I wasn't too excited about that initially since the shared room was old, worn, and not very nice. However, after the tour I was moved to a different room and it was excellent - brand new, bright, and stocked with amenities. The breakfast is pretty good, and the hotel is just a few metres from an excellent pizza and pasta shop, as well as the subway.

In a quiet location this hotel suited us for our short stay. Not so convenient for taxis when calling for one on a Sunday. Also we were not able to book a shared shuttle bus through Viator on arrival in Rome as the hotel was not in their city area. The taxi we got was fine. Hotel is only steps away from a train station, which we used for all our excursions and next door to a supermarket. Lovely breakfast with huge choice in a large dining room. Comfortable room and helpful reception staff.

I went there last September with my family ... i booked at last moment meanwhile i already was in Rome for a short trip. Once in the room (2 adult + 1 children) i saw immediately that not only that room but all buildings needed to be refurbished. The furniture are old, the wc was old as well. The enamelled bath tub peeling in more points, the phon kept by my son remained in his hand ... the fitted carpet and the wardrobe doors were dirty ... As i told in the title ... just the mattresses were v... Read more

We stayed here in October and arrived on the Saturday afternoon. Our room faced the street just along from the street entrance on fourth floor. It was extremely noisy with youths on mopeds, honking horns and folk shouting to each other but settled down after 11pm, same on the Sunday evening but the week days were fine. The room itself could do with brighter decor but the bed was so spacious and we enjoyed a great nights sleep all week. The bed linen and towels were changed daily and the shower a... Read more

We came here for a night before go to an apartment we have rent. The Regent hotel is near the Villa Borghese area.It is not in the center of the city but there is a metro station around the corner (50m).Pay attention because this metro line stops at 10.00pm.About the hotel again the building is old not renovated. The room was big and clean and the internet worked. But the breakfast quality is very moderate. You can find a lot of thinks on the big tables but very low quality. If you like coffee do not...
