My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Quirinale for 5 nights. Of all the staff we encountered, only 2 seemed to care that we were there. The breakfast attendants acted as if they did not want to be bothered. Breakfast food was marginal, at best. One of the oranges I picked up was rotten. When I gave it to the attendant she took it and made no comment. The desk staff was cold and gave out wrong information. The rooms were clean but needed good updating. The beds and pillows were HARD! We stayed here for 2 nights after a 5* cruise and it was slightly disappointing to say the least. Check in process was ok but with wrong information about city tax. Got into the room after a long day only to find that it was very worn down and shabby. Understandably it is an old hotel but even still the bathrooms aren't old fashioned so could easily be updated rather than have stains everywhere and cracks all over the place. There was hair in the bath and sink so I went to reception to ask for a... Read more

Friendly staff, lovely room. Nice features. Breakfast great and that it's a buffet! Lots of marble stairs and flooring, lots of character. Free Wi-Fi. Location good too. They clean room every day. Quiet, at least our room was anyway-away from road. Very clean.

Visited in October 2015 and loved this hotel. Stayed in a suite on the 3rd floor and it was spacious and clean and stately. The bathroom was huge and living area was a nice size. They had an excellent breakfast in the morning with great selections. Its included in your stay so I was sure to catch breakfast.

Hotel has alot of charm and character. Very friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast area outside on the patio was a definite bonus. Oerfect place to have a drink at night and unwind. Ideal location close to train station.

Hotel is well located however staff are curt if not bordering on rude / unhelpful and lack initiative. Waiting for check in took 30 minutes only to be told that rooms were not ready for another half hour. No apology offered (we were on time to check in at 2pm). We left to find lunch and when we came back to retrieve our luggage from the storage, the bellboys were nowhere to be found. Further, another member of staff told us that they were on their lunch break and so we would have to fetch ou... Read more

Definitely a hotel that falls into the posh category. We got a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the garden bar, which was peaceful and calm. The staff were superb; incredibly helpful and respectful and the breakfast was extensive.

Hotel is great! Staff very friendly, hotel was very clean. We came in a couple of days early for a cruise - staff offered suggestions on things to see/do. Hotel food was very good and fair prices. Breakfast included - wide selection for all tastes.

A very nice hotel that has a professional staff except for the Security Staff. The front desk staff was very helpful with making reservations at restaurants. The Security Staff was not very customer friendly. The last of our stay we left our luggage in the hotel baggage room. When we came back to retrieve our luggage the bellman was not available. The front desk manager told the Security person to open the baggage room for us. Our bags where in the back corner of the room with other peop... Read more

We were part of a small tour group, staying for the week. Service was great. I was here 10 minutes and had to call housekeeping for wash cloths...they don't have them. The small bidet towels work fine in their place. We didn't realize the card key has to stay in the slot to keep the lights on. Good idea as you always know where it is. They came right away too when I requested extra hangers. The hotel is lovely..old but classy. Lots of areas to sit and mingle. Breakfast was ample...they were grea... Read more

Very nice hotel with excellent breakfast and beautiful dining area. Excellent English speaking reception helpful staff (especially Emmanuel was polite and helpful every single time). Superb location. The only downside was that the air conditioning in our room worked but not very effective. Walking distance from several major attractions. Cant think of a better location in Rome.

My husband booked this hotel as a surprise for my 30th birthday. He couldn't have picked a nicer hotel, we were given a room upgrade to a suite. Room was clean and spacious. We had breakfast included in our package and this was lovely also. We like to walk and found the hotel was in an ideal location for us to walk everywhere we wanted and if we felt particularly lazy it was a two minute walk to the metro. All in all brilliant stay, would highly recommend and would return to this hotel if I ca... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for 5 nights, in an executive room. The room was beautiful, very old-fashioned but not lacking modern conveniences. The breakfast buffet every morning was amazing, the best I've had in a hotel. The service was good - for travellers, the employees speak great English. Highly recommend this hotel!

Would not rated this hotel a 4 star. It had an old and almost dirty feel. Internet was very hit and miss. Only one plug worked in the room. No over sheet in bed. Food was adequate. The location was the only advantage.

Has a slightly historic feel - all the better for that. Fabulous hotel, comfy and very clean. Excellent service and staff. Pleasant breakfast in the garden. Well located for the main attractions. Works well, fly into Rome airport, take fast train to Rome 5 minutes walk.

Beautiful historic hotel in the centre of Rome. We stayed here in June to attend a family wedding. We had a wonderful time and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our room overlooked a very quiet beautiful garden. It was spacious and very comfortable with lovely high ceiling. The breakfast was superb, buffet style with lots of choices. There was a very good restaurant with outdoor terraces for al fresco dining and excellent menus. The hotel is old world with great cha... Read more

We last stayed at the Quirinale in January 2015; we thought it was an excellent hotel and a great value. After our recent visit, we still think this is a very good hotel but not as great as we remembered it from last time. Beware that connecting to the internet may not be easy and even then, it has to be repeated daily as the free wi-fi license is good for 24 hrs only - even if you booked the room for 4 nights. And the staff, this time was not as helpful as we remembered from last time either. ... Read more

I just wanna say thank you to the hotel staff of the quirinale. They were great and helpful . The Internet was very fast and so nice . Breakfast was delicious . Although I wish they were more options to choose . And the a/c at the lobby was so cold and nice with the summer heat outside . But would be better if it was cooler at the rooms aswell . The location of the was perfect . And also the planning and assisting for day trips outside of Rome was brilliant . I would really recommend anyone to... Read more

We booked this online and it very much matched the description. It's quite close to Roma Termini station ( we walked with luggage and found our way reasonably easy ). The front desk were polite and soon we were in a very cosy 5th floor room. Great immediate impression re layout and standard. The bed is amazingly comfortable and the bathroom has all quality inclusions. Good air con too and reliable wifi. Near the main bus routes too which helps when exploring - but short and reliable cabs can... Read more

This was our second visit to Quirinale Hotel. We elected to stay here for 3 nights prior to a cruise. First, let me compliment the staff at the front desk, especially Andrea. He helped us arrange a private day trip to Tuscany and Umbria, as well as transportation to our cruise ship in Citivecchia. Our travel agent quoted a fee 3x as much for the cruise ship transfer than the one he arranged. The rest of the front desk staff was equally helpful. Our room was in the -20 line. Large room, l... Staff was friendly and spoke fluent english. Breakfast was good. Fruits, eggs, bacon, bread etc, etc. Didn't leave me hungry. Rooms were cleaned every day. I would go there again. We stayed at the Hotel for 5 nights , On the first night our flight was delayed thus arrived at the hotel after 1130 pm after a long day of travel we were looking for a good please to eat. The clerk at the front desk called a restaurant across the street and had them stay open late for us. The rooms were large and very clean. The staff was outstanding . I've stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed its huge rooms and excellent customer service. On this trip however, the T.V. remote control was not working and the "cold" side of the bathroom sink was not working. After informing the front desk about these issues, the problems were resolved. I've encountered "minor" problems like these at other hotel properties and it puzzles me why hotels do not employ Quality Control personnel to check on rooms just after they were cleaned (at a different pr...
