After reading some reviews i was really worried about the hotel's location, but there was nothing to be concerned about! The hotel is about a ten minute bus journey from the Vatican and an extra ten minutes to the city center. The bus costs 1.50 euros and is so easy, the staff are so helpful they gave us a map, and showed us where the bus stop was. We upgraded our room when we arrived and stayed on the 7th floor 'Seventh Heaven. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well presented and very comfortabl... Read more

We are very pleased with this hotel. Everything was fine. The room was clean and provides everything you need. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff were very helpful with any request from us. They provided us with a map of the city and instructions for transportation. The problem was the location of the hotel. There was actually only one bus line that can take you to the city center. The bus stop was 5 min. away from the hotel but the bus schedule was poor and every time we had to wait at leas... Read more

I left within two hours of checking in. Friendly lady at the concierge and that's all I can say. For the very little time I spent there the walls were so thin. The room was poorly kept tbh I just wanted out.

We Went to Rome in November for 5 days . we stayed in this hotel the room was a bit outdated but still reasonable and very clean it was a nice view from the balcony. it's not too far from the bus stop that brings you straight to the Vatican.I would recommend and I definitely will stay there again the next time I am visiting

We recently stayed at the Hotel Pineta Palace and having read other reviews we requested a room on the 6th floor which is one of the newly renovated rooms. On arrival we were actually placed on the 8th floor which was quite dated. The room was hot but seeing as we were in Rome to sight see we weren't too worried as the hotel was only going to be a place to rest our heads and shower. We slept with the balcony door open on our first night and the next morning had a few ants in the room and the bed... Read more

The hotel serves an extremely poor breakfast of dry un fresh croissants, stale cake, powdered eggs, what tasted like powdered orange juice packed with sugar and burnt bacon. Even the fruit salad has come out of a can! The rooms have no ironing facilities and guests are advised to use a laundry service which charges extortionate rates to iron one item. E.g. 4 Euros for a shirt! We were told that irons were taken out of the rooms for safety purposes after a guest left one on and caused a fire. T... Read more

While we are initially worried that the hotel is a little away from the city centre, that is hardly an issue. There are buses to the city at a decent frequency. The hotel staff is really good and helpful. We were staying in the comfort rooms and wi-fi was free in the rooms. Although having to go to the reception every 24 hours to get new codes for wifi was a bit annoying. The breakfast in the hotel was decent and although it didn't have a lot of options was pretty good in what they offered. Ther... Read more

My partner and I stayed here at the beginning of march. When we pulled up outside I had that hmmmm moment. On entering the reception was lovely, in fact the entire hotel is lovely and fantastic value for money. Our room was immaculate and modern with an amazing shower and balcony. The staff are so very helpful and kind and they just made the whole experience fantastic. When I visit rome again I will most certainly be paying this fantastic little hotel a visit.

This hotel is poor, but clean. Suitable for a very short stay only. The front of house staff were friendly, with good english, unfortunately this could not be said for the catering staff. The meals provided as part of the package were extremely poor... our first evening meal in Italy was a deep fried processed chicken patty with fries - disgusting to say the least and the manner delivered by the hospitality staff was terrible at best. The rooms are tired, the shower (extremely) small, but are... Read more

Room: Run down and looks creepy. Interior: Doesn't look presentable. Very bad designer feel. Service: Very bad especially the lady in blonde at her late 40s at the reception counter. Nicely request for a bedsheet due to our tour group friends changes of room and made up a mistake which did by ourselves but this lady kept on mentioning that is not the hotel mistake and is our mistake. Well, I told her that I understood and I never said is the hotel mistakes but her looks is unacceptable and t... Read more

Stayed here at the end of our Cosmos Tour. Had a beautiful large room. TV gets Western Channels. It's also off the major roads so it's quiet. The negatives, unless you want to pay for a taxi you have to walk, then take a bus and then the Metro to get to the central part of Rome. In addition if you don't want to eat at the hotel the eating places in the neighborhood are limited. We got in late in the afternoon, after coming back from Sicily and the few places near the hotel weren't open... Read more

The room was very dated. The terrace was handy for drying washing. The A/C was super noisy and when I tried to turn it off at the wall I managed to disable the lights. The maintenance guy was quick enough and quite friendly. It was a bonus having English speaking channels. But any negatives are insignificant because waking up to church bells in Rome in this out of the way hotel is a memory that will last a life time.

Dingy, outdated, moldy, uncomfortable beds, smoky, poor lighting, bad service, nonfunctional thermostat, and broken elevator. We were part of tour group, they must have put us on their worse floors (4th).

First of all, the rooms are nothing whatsoever like the pictures. Our bed consisted of 2 small beds joined together. The walls are soooo thin and we couldn't get enough sleep because the people in the room next to us were loud and when someone knocked on their door we used to get up thinking that was our door. The breakfast was OK if you just want to curb your hunger and do not care for enjoying a meal. It had no taste that I thought my taste buds were dead or something. You can get full but yo... Dingy dull outdated the rooms didn't match what the photo looked like, there was no English Channels on the tv, cleaning staff just walked in our room when they felt like it even though the do not disturb was clearly displayed on the door, the restaurant at night was disgusting and the staff were rude. This is by far not a four star hotel when we was due to check out the receptionist told us we needed to pay ‚?¨180 for city tax which we knew nothing about and when we said we wasn't paying he got... The room was of an average standard but the biggest issue was the distance of this hotel from the centre of Rome and the lack of regular public transport. Despite the staff saying that buses run every 10 mins, we were often waiting over 30 - 45 mins for a bus. Not only that the distance to the centre of Rome was about 40 mins. For the amount that it cost in fares (approx £30 by taxi and £7 by bus) we would have been better getting a more central hotel.

I stayed here on a last min deal with my 3 years old son. Lovely staff who spoke good English and were very helpful with our planning outings in the centre of Rome. Not the best for young children as there is not much to do at the hotel and also they didn't do kids meals. Near a bus stop which takes two bus's to get to the main attractions. Would recommend a closer hotel to the centre for easy commuting but for the price it's worth staying a little bit away. The room was dated but clean....... Read more

This hotel doesn't look great from the outside, but don't judge from this as once you walk through the door there is beautiful marble floor and it looks lovely. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful, expecially Jasmin and Christina. They give you a map on arrival and explain how to get to the city centre (although don't forget to ask how to get back - as they don't tell you!). They explain how to find your room and where breakfast is etc. Everything is clear and gives you a good sta... Read more

A good hotel. We visited 12-15th September 2016, my fiancé and I, for a short break to Rome. We booked the trip through an online tour operator, and so didn't particularly research the hotel before booking it, and after reading other reviews, I was quite worried! Turns out, I didn't have to be, it was fine! I'll split the review into different sections for ease: Hotel/Room: The hotel looks a bit run down from the outside, but the reception area is very nice and spotlessly clean. We arrived... Read more

Shower is small but the room itself is okay, and was purchased as part of a deal but not something i would have picked myself. bed was a twin bed pushed together but it didnt cause me and my boyfriend any problems and was comfortable no tea/coffee facilities, mini bar = 2 euros 50 cent for a coca cola we had a balcony which gave us a lovely view of Rome and the Vatican- beautiful. The hotel was really clean and the staff were fantastic, other people have said that the building is dirty from the outside but in reality all it needs is a lick of paint so don't let this put you off staying here. Breakfast was great with a wide choice of food and the room was cleaned daily. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the station which will take you to the city centre and to stations which have a metro to the city centre which the train itself only costs ‚?¨1 per journey. Overall a fanta... Read more
