Stayed here for two nights with my sister. The pictures on here are an accurate representation. Room 208 was comfortable and nice size. Was nice to have shower caps and soap topped up in bathroom. Tissue goes in bins and not the toilet when using the bathroom in Rome (learnt this the hard way). Lovely shower, bathroom is small but fine for us. Breakfast was nice, love the fact you can access a microwave and toaster, they have cold but also warm food available (Hot or cold milk, cereals, flan ty... Read more

I booked this hotel as part of a vacation deal and after reading the opinion on Tripadvisor. It's an old fashioned small hotel (one look at the elevator will explain‚?¶) located at a very convenient spot ‚?? 10 minutes' walk from the main train station. From the hotel we walked to all the attractions. We were three and the room was small but manageable ‚?? the bathroom was comfortable and more modern than the rest. Most important ‚?? it was clean. The breakfast (complimentary) was surprisingly t... Read more

The location is great, close to everything, on a quiet street in the busy district, terminal station, Via Cavour, Piazza della Republica, National Roman Museum.... especially the opera house, hence the name. Its an old building mixed with some residents, so it is not a typical hotel, the service is limited and spotty; the ladies at the desk and breakfast bar are very nice, the guy at the front desk is rushed and not as friendly! If you are just here for a safe and convenient location, this is f... Read more

Very good location!! Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Room's are a decent size and has one of the fastest Wifi connections I've ever come across in a hotel! Downside is there is no lobby or toilets in the main entrance and no place to secure luggage, breakfast was also very limited, only toast and spreads.

We spent a week at the Hotel Opera Roma. It's a small hotel, within walking distance of the Termini Station, and Avenue Nazionale (which has a metro stop and many buses run on). It was a great location to fan out and see all of Rome. The hotel itself is small, and we liked that. The staff was all very friendly, helpful and more than willing to stop what they were doing to answer our questions. They even called and made restaurant reservations for us a number of times. Breakfast was includ... Read more

Each stay at this hotel gets better! The friendly staff treats guests as family. Riza, Letu, ETA, Rita, Angela and the other staff are friendly, helpful and always ready with a smile. All rooms are extremely clean and well appointed. This hotel is centrally located to all transportation and is easy walk to attractions. Their sister hotel owned by the same person is excellent also. This street is quiet and on afternoons that the musicians for the opera are practicing you sometime get a wonderful... Read more

I have only the highest praise for the staff (everyone of them), the beautiful room, the great breakfast, great coffee and its location. We both loved our trip and usually go to Paris but enjoyed everything about Rome. Never met a negative person during the whole trip. I wish I could remember the little family restaurant near Termini station, beautiful people, service and food. Ciaran and Joan Devine Lisburn Ireland

Chose Opera because of its location (close to Termini train Stn and walking distance to 'old' Rome centre: Foro Romano, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, etc, and its price. An easy 7-min walk with baggage from Termini but in a quiet and safe street right next to the opera house. On arrival was told there had been a problem with previous guest (unable to check out because ill) so they had arranged for me to stay in next door Hotel Centro. (If I wanted I was welcome to use both hotels facilities - eg bre... Read more

We stayed here with another couple for our three nights in Rome. The hotel is conveniently located to the Termini train station as well as bus and metro stops. All are only a brief walk. There are also stores and small restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is very average. Rooms are small but provide enough space for you to move around. The bed is average in terms of comfort (a little over-firm) but the pillows were very, very firm. The hotel does provide a nice complimentary bre... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for our last 2 nights in Rome. Location is OK but a bit of a walk to any of the key shopping areas. A number if restaurants are in the area as the Opera house is just across the street. Rooms are small but reasonably comfortable. Bathrooms are quite small and like many Italian hotels face cloths are non existent. Beds are firm as are the pillows. Mini bar in room but best used for your own beverages. Room was quiet and the desk staff very helpful.
