A lovely hotel set in a quiet street literally 5 mins from the Termini train, metro and bus Stations. Lots of friendly eating establishments close by. Helpful staff that speak English. Very clean room and a breakfast that covers literally everything from cooked, cold meats, fruit, yogurt, cereal all sorts and my favourite, cake. My one and only sournote is that I had to ask for kettle and tea/coffee for the room. However this is provided on the ground floor and is free during the day. The domes... Read more

Perfect location a few blocks from Termini station which provides easy access to subway and trains. The room was great... clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff was helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to help me print some museum tickets that I had purchased online that morning. Speaking of morning, however, the breakfast buffet was one of the best parts! Amazing selection, and it was wonderful to have (free!) breakfast before leaving the hotel each day. We'd definitely stay at... Read more

We've just arrived home from a fabulous 3 day stay at the Hotel Morgana, the hotel is within a great location with a short walk from Termini station. The room was very clean, comfortable and having a safe which was free to use was a lovely touch! As we had booked the trip for my birthday we arrived to champagne and snacks placed in the room upon arrival! Breakfast each morning was also of a very high standard consisting of cereal, pastries and hot food. We were also able to leave our suitcases i... Read more

Hotel is located a few minutes away from Termini station. We were not really happy with the service provided at this Hotel. Internet was unavailable for 3 days and we had so much trouble to organize our departure. We paid for a 4-star hotel but the service was something 3-star! This is definitely a good value hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights. Due to our very early arrival we had to stow our luggage & wait for our room to be vacated and cleaned. Staff at the hotel were very accomodating and provided us with coffee & light refreshments. When we got into our room (after a 24 hour flight); the hot shower & comfortable bed felt like heaven. Any questions we had re Rome were always adressed by the staff. Would recommend to any fellow travellers. The very small elevator is a bit of a hassle.

We had a great three night break in Rome at the Hotel Morgana. The staff were all very friendly, breakfast was a feast of fruit, pastries, bacon & eggs, fresh bread and some goodies we'd never even sen before. All beautifully presented and fresh. Hotel is located near the station but there was no road noise from our room and we slept really well on their super sized comfy bed. Bedrooms were not massive but suited our needs and were clean and nicely decorated. You will enjoy your stay here I'm su... Read more

Our room was located in a different building than the hotel and was clean, large and had a balcony that over looked the street. Loved waking up and having tea out there. Even had an elevator. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right around the corner from the termini station. The service was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming the whole stay. We were very pleased with the service of this hotel. Rooms are small but rather typical for average European hotels. Cleanliness was excellent (a major concern for us) and it is conveniently located next to Termini (most important train/metro/bus correspondence station in Rome). Our deal included breakfast; a well served buffet, great coffee and very friendly staff. We left Rome on a positive note and wish to express our satisfaction with hotel Morgana.

Excellent location near the transportation hub of Rome. The hotel is walking distance to many shops and restaurants and a very short walk to Termini. The rooms are very clean but like a few reviews - dated. The elevators are so tiny. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all needs. The breakfast buffet was worth the money if you have not included it in your booking. Wow is the word for their cappuccino.

This hotel is perfectly located for travellers arriving in Rome by air or train - it is literally one minute's walk from the side exit of Termini station, the terminus for trains from Fiumicino airport. The metro at Termini will take you to the stop for the Vatican in 15 minutes, while on the other metro line, the Colosseum is two stops away, or a twenty minute walk. I booked this as part of the British Airways holidays package. The hotel is located 5 mins from termini. The rooms were really nice and clean. Really nice bathroom. I was surprised as too how big it was. Shower was good with powerful pressure. The breakfast had a nice spread. The wifi tho had some issues. I just stopped working at different parts on the night. So i guess thats the only drawback. Other than that a good place overall.

I'm baffled by all the positive reviews. This is a 2, max 3 star hotel in a dodgy area near Termini station. The room was small with a odor emanating from the bathroom sewer that was unbecoming for a hotel that's supposedly 4 stars. Also, the room had ants! We were in the 4th floor. The breakfast was standard, but worse than other hotels we experienced during our 10 day stay. What's more, we had to give the hotel our credit card for a copy, something we didn't have to do anywhere else.

I booked a 2 night stay at the Morgana through British Airways for a surprise 50th birthday present for my wife. There were 3 of us as my son came along with us aswell. A 30 minute taxi ride from the airport got us to the hotel smoothly and quickly. Followed by a swift check in and the lady who checked us in then gave us a map and tips about where to go to eat and where to catch tour buses and overall she was very helpful. We got breakfast included which was great. Rome was really lovely with so... Read more

We first stayed at this hotel in January 2013 and had a lovely stay. So earlier this week when we found ourselves stranded in Rome without our luggage due to a massive stuff up by Air Malta, we decided to head back there while we figured out what to do. Best decision ever! The staff, without fail, were friendly and reassuring and made phone calls to the airline chasing our luggage. They genuinely seemed to care about our welfare and were as delighted as we were when our luggage was finally found... Read more

Friendly staff, great location, very close to termini station. Tasty breakfast which is starting from 6.30, we received a room upgrade which was absolutely free, a bottle of sparkling wine because one of our friends was celebrating her birthday in that day. Everything was perfect, if I will have the chance to visit Rome again will definitely choose Morgana hotel

This is a great hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious with a really comfy bed, air conditioning/heating and SKY TV. Fabulous shower too. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and included some hot food too. The hotel offers complimentary tea and coffee plus pastries all day. The location is perfrect, right next door to the main Termini Rail Station and within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and the Colloseum. The starting point for the hop on hop off... Read more

My Husband & I had a lovely stay in Rome at Hotel Morgana. Just a stones throw away from the Termini in the centre of the city. However, the location was not on the main road and so fairly quiet most of the time. Our room was attended to every day with fresh sheets, towels and replacement free soft drinks and toiletries. I believe we had replacement drinks as we had an executive room. The first day we also has complimentary wine. The bed was comfy, air conditioning in room (although not needed ... Read more

This is a lovely little hotel, well located, close to the termini. The rooms are beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. You get a nice selection of toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast is also very good with plenty of choice and the staff are lovely. Would I stay here again, without doubt. I would recommend this place to anyone

Stayed for 3 nights in October 2016. Very clean room, nice welcome drink and good toiletries provided. Towels were excekkebt! Well positioned for exploring Rome, but a bit of an unsavoury walk from the train station if arriving at night. To the other side of the station and hotel are nicer parts and good restaurants. Friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast. I wouldn't recommend trying to get a cup of tea, stick to coffee!

we found this hotel tastefully decorated ,we stayed in a deluxe the room on the third floor we had was compact but fine as we were not planing to stay in the room long as so much to see in Rome. I would recommend requesting a room at the front of the hotel as if windows left open can be a little noisy in the early hours as staff setting up for the day and the views not very good . the staff could not be any more friendly or more helpful and made everyone feel welcome , happy to book restaurants... We stayed here during our first night in Italy. I chose it due to its proximity to the train station. It was an easy 5 min walk to Termini (convenient if you take the train from Fiumicino airport to Rome). We were greeted pleasantly at 8am with a cappuccino and a free wine/beer from the bar for later that evening. The rooms are small but that is to be expected in Rome. The selling point on this hotel though are the beds. They were without a doubt the most comfortable we found during our 2 weeks ... Read more

This hotel was recommended by our friends' travel agent (Costco Travel Services) and I am glad we took their advice. The rooms were comfortable, though I'm not sure how cool they would be in July and August. We were there in late September. The breakfast was the best we had at any of the hotels in Italy during our two week trip. The service was very good and the staff was very helpful and friendly both in the restaurant and at the front desk. Conveniently located an easy 10 minute walk from... Read more

I have to commend the staff. The staff at the lobby, staff in housekeeping, staff everywhere was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The room was cleaned daily and it was done thoroughly. We felt welcomed, comfortable, and safe. The room was small but cute and comfortable. It was very clean and modern. The only problem was that it was a bit warm and the air conditioning did not turn on. We did express our concern and they offered us a bigger cooler room. Although, because that o... Read more

Hotel Morgana is located 200 metres walk away from the Termini railway station and is in the centre of Rome. All attractions are within a short distance. The rooms were compact but contained everything required. Well decorated and furnished if slightly cramped. Hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Restaurants are within 50 metres and a large choice. An enjoyable stay.
