A lovely hotel set in a quiet street literally 5 mins from the Termini train, metro and bus Stations. Lots of friendly eating establishments close by. Helpful staff that speak English. Very clean room and a breakfast that covers literally everything from cooked, cold meats, fruit, yogurt, cereal all sorts and my favourite, cake. My one and only sournote is that I had to ask for kettle and tea/coffee for the room. However this is provided on the ground floor and is free during the day. The domes... Read more

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room. Was offered a free drink and a snack whilst the details for our room were being finalised. Greeted at breakfast with a cappuccino and a wonderful selection of pastries or cooked food. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Perfect location a few blocks from Termini station which provides easy access to subway and trains. The room was great... clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff was helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to help me print some museum tickets that I had purchased online that morning. Speaking of morning, however, the breakfast buffet was one of the best parts! Amazing selection, and it was wonderful to have (free!) breakfast before leaving the hotel each day. We'd definitely stay at... Read more

We've just arrived home from a fabulous 3 day stay at the Hotel Morgana, the hotel is within a great location with a short walk from Termini station. The room was very clean, comfortable and having a safe which was free to use was a lovely touch! As we had booked the trip for my birthday we arrived to champagne and snacks placed in the room upon arrival! Breakfast each morning was also of a very high standard consisting of cereal, pastries and hot food. We were also able to leave our suitcases i... Read more

Hotel is located a few minutes away from Termini station. We were not really happy with the service provided at this Hotel. Internet was unavailable for 3 days and we had so much trouble to organize our departure. We paid for a 4-star hotel but the service was something 3-star! This is definitely a good value hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights. Due to our very early arrival we had to stow our luggage & wait for our room to be vacated and cleaned. Staff at the hotel were very accomodating and provided us with coffee & light refreshments. When we got into our room (after a 24 hour flight); the hot shower & comfortable bed felt like heaven. Any questions we had re Rome were always adressed by the staff. Would recommend to any fellow travellers. The very small elevator is a bit of a hassle.

We had a great three night break in Rome at the Hotel Morgana. The staff were all very friendly, breakfast was a feast of fruit, pastries, bacon & eggs, fresh bread and some goodies we'd never even sen before. All beautifully presented and fresh. Hotel is located near the station but there was no road noise from our room and we slept really well on their super sized comfy bed. Bedrooms were not massive but suited our needs and were clean and nicely decorated. You will enjoy your stay here I'm su... Read more

It took me so long to choose a hotel for my trip to Italy...then, I finally decided to go with Morgana and I have NO regrets!!!! Upon arrival my friend and I were greeted with a smile from Lukas who was very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean, water pressure was great! Towels were so big, the bed was nice and firm. The breakfast was satisfying and buffet style and it's in close proximity to Termini (3 min walk) and Colosseum (15 -20 mins depending on your pace) we ate at each of the 3 re... Read more

We are a family of 4 and the Hotel Morgana and we were very comfortable in our room. Great breakfast with eggs, breads, deli meats, fruit, pastries and great cappuccinos. Our room was located in a different building than the hotel and was clean, large and had a balcony that over looked the street. Loved waking up and having tea out there. Even had an elevator. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right around the corner from the termini station. The service was wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming the whole stay. The hotel itself is very nice but our room did seem quite tired and could have benefitted from a bit of tlc. Overall a very nice stay.

We were very pleased with the service of this hotel. Rooms are small but rather typical for average European hotels. Cleanliness was excellent (a major concern for us) and it is conveniently located next to Termini (most important train/metro/bus correspondence station in Rome). Our deal included breakfast; a well served buffet, great coffee and very friendly staff. We left Rome on a positive note and wish to express our satisfaction with hotel Morgana.

Excellent location near the transportation hub of Rome. The hotel is walking distance to many shops and restaurants and a very short walk to Termini. The rooms are very clean but like a few reviews - dated. The elevators are so tiny. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all needs. The breakfast buffet was worth the money if you have not included it in your booking. Wow is the word for their cappuccino.

This hotel is perfectly located for travellers arriving in Rome by air or train - it is literally one minute's walk from the side exit of Termini station, the terminus for trains from Fiumicino airport. The metro at Termini will take you to the stop for the Vatican in 15 minutes, while on the other metro line, the Colosseum is two stops away, or a twenty minute walk. I booked this as part of the British Airways holidays package. The hotel is located 5 mins from termini. The rooms were really nice and clean. Really nice bathroom. I was surprised as too how big it was. Shower was good with powerful pressure. The breakfast had a nice spread. The wifi tho had some issues. I just stopped working at different parts on the night. So i guess thats the only drawback. Other than that a good place overall.

I'm baffled by all the positive reviews. This is a 2, max 3 star hotel in a dodgy area near Termini station. The room was small with a odor emanating from the bathroom sewer that was unbecoming for a hotel that's supposedly 4 stars. Also, the room had ants! We were in the 4th floor. The breakfast was standard, but worse than other hotels we experienced during our 10 day stay. What's more, we had to give the hotel our credit card for a copy, something we didn't have to do anywhere else.

Stayed in this hotel for a long weekend, was greeted with a free coffee as we waited for a room. Then got a free upgrade which was an absolute bonus, hotel is walking distance to everything you need, rail station is around the corner, yet it's set off a quite street. Staff were super friendly, breakfast was great, would definitely stay again!

Hotel was easily reached from the airport by shuttle bus as it is just one street away from train termini which is the hub for all public transport. Our room was small but boutique style in decoration and seemed to have been recently renovated. Excellent shower in a very small en suite. Breakfast was included and there was a choice of hot or cold buffet. Staff very friendly. Tea and coffee and cakes laid out in reception area at all times to help yourself. Location was perfect as most of the t... Read more

We stayed here twice (a week apart) as we were in Rome for one night at the beginning and end of our trip and travelling by train to other destinations. The staff were absolutely amazing. The rooms comfortable but small. Breakfast good and great value. We stayed here mostly for the convenience to Termini but were pleasantly surprised!

I cant recommend this hotel enough, the staff were brilliant and very accommodating. The location is perfect as opposite the train station and there are plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Also convenient for using the Green Line Tours, 'hop on hop off' bus. Stops right outside the station and takes you round all of the sites in Rome. Thanks for making our stay in Rome so easy!

Lovely hotel with very pleasant & friendly staff . Tastefully decorated with a nice lounge and bar area. A large breakfast room with a good variety of food to set you up for the morning walk. Also shelves of books if you wanted a quiet sit down and read after pounding the pavements in the scorching heat. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with a small wardrobe and safe and a dressing table. Bathroom spotless with shower and jacuzzi jets in bath (we had a Deluxe room). Some noise from the street... Fantastic hotel in superb location with train station, shops and restaurants a stones throw away. Breakfast is great with plenty of hot and cold food but the orange juice does taste watery. The staff at breakfast were friendly and remembered your drinks order, particularly Eddie who was front of house. Our initial room was too small for three so we moved the next night and the staff were happy to assist, the new room was spacious and plenty of toiletries were provided. Also free luggage storage ... Stayed here for five nights with two others and couldn't fault it. Fantastic hotel in a great location, situated around the corner from the bus/train terminal, with access to the main places of interest, although many walkable even in the heat, with the help of shade from the buildings(15/20 minutes) Staff are friendly and helpful especially the breakfast room staff. The breakfast offers a varied choice and is plentiful, always being replenished as it is taken. Served from half six to half ten ... Read more

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Morgana last week. Great to have a choice of two pillows and a very comfortable bed. 24-hour reception was very helpful as we arrived after midnight. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic at breakfast (we didn't have an evening meal there during our stay as we were out and about every day/evening). The staff worked incredibly hard to give a truly excellent service. I was very pleased when entering the room how nice and modern it all seemed - and the ... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for a period of 4 nights. It is located at the heart of Rome near Termini station which makes it a perfect location for visiting the famous sites. The station is a 5 minute walk, from there you can hop on to the orange line and get to the Vatican City easily. Or from termini you can take the blue line and in 2 stops you are outside the Colosseum. The hotel itself is very nice, the staff are extremely helpful and kind. Hotel Morgana has great service and good breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the distance from Termini station is very short. It would have been nicer though if we stayed in the main hotel, as they had moved us to the extra rooms two blocks away. The rooms in the main hotel look a bit nicer on the review photos. Despite this it was a nice stay and I would recommend this hotel to others.

We chose this hotel due to its location to all of the tourist attractions and it was a good choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful, rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast consists of either cerials, eggs bacon sausages tomatoes with also a selection of fruit. Travel from the airport is easy enough the train station is a short walk to hotel and a cost of 28 euros is a bargain. This was our third hotel in Italy & France & the worst of the 3 though not awful. We had 2 rooms. One bathroom smelled HORRIBLE which they fixed immediately and the other bathroom toilet had mold on it. They fixed that the third time around and offered us other rooms repeatedly. The staff was wonderful, especially the lady who worked between noon and 6. I think her name was Daniella?? Everyone talks about upper rooms being best. In this case I am not sure. The AC worked but not great th... Read more

We chose the Hotel Mogana because we were flying home the next day and we needed to be there for a 10 am departure. Our room was very nice and we figured out why we were in such a quiet area. Our room looked out at a wall that was close enough to touch. Surprise! But the bed was great and breakfast the next morning was good and appreciated. The neighborhood, however, left a lot to be desired. We, of course, made a convoluted trip on foot to the hotel. So tired and a little cranky was in e... Read more

We loved our stay at Hotel Morgana for following reasons: 1. Location: Hotel is located near the terminal train station with no outside road noise 2. Two supermarkets close by 3. The staff was all very friendly. When we checked in, they kindly showed us two types of rooms available and asked us to choose one. 4. Ms Marissa in the reception was extraordinarily warm and welcoming. On the day of leaving, our train was late in the evening and they allowed us to stay in our rooms until 4 pm without... Read more

We stayed here for 7 nights and booked the holiday as a British Airways holiday. It was in a perfect location right near Termini St! I disagree with past posts about the area being safe! As expected near a mainline st it is busy and people do stand around but we came back to the hotel late at night a few times and never felt intimidated at all. There are a few restaurants on the same st so it quite a busy area. We walked to most of the attractions from this hotel, only The Vatican we visited b... Read more

This hotel was exactly what we needed. Peaceful and quiet in the room, but a bustling city once you step out the front door. Easy walking distance to bus/tram/train stops and central enough to walk to most attractions. Very welcoming staff who were more than happy to help with anything. (Even when we rocked up at 10pm with takeaway pizza and asked to sit in the restaurant to eat it!!- cheeky, but they were accommodating!) Breakfast was a highlight. We needed a room near Termini for our last night in Italy after 38 days. Hotel Morgana looked okay so I booked online. Well despite low expectations it turned into a very pleasant surprise! We were met in reception by the sunny attitude and smiling face of Mary, who seeing our exhaustion, made the check in fast and easy. The hotel is older, but looks newly renovated. My family and I have just returned from a fantastic 11 day stay in Rome, what an amazing city! We all fell in love, what made it so special for us, was the Hotel Morgana , the wonderful staff, nothing was ever too much trouble, weather it was deciding what to do especially with adolescent kids in tow, or the best places to eat. They always had a smile to greet you, asked if you enjoyed your day. Staff at breakfast even when rushed off their feet made you feel so welcome. The cleanliness of the ... Read more
